if images of the actual characters are going to look better than this, they need to release them. Because that looks terrible. I have been so anxious to see what they look like, this seems like an unfair first look… I'm still hopeful, but that head looks bad

also just noticed, it looks like mikey has some sort of design/tattoo on his arm. That would be kind of strange. I don't know why, but I perceive that as far more strange than clothes.

Wow, that is wired, but it's only a Halloween costume. I'll just wait till we get proper movie pictures of the turtles then i'll decided if i'll like the turtles design on not.

This movie is truly going to be the worst thing to happen to the TMNT franchise since Next Mutation.

I'm sure the actual movie turtles looks better. Not by much, the design is dreadfully funny, but still.

First of all, I'm not digging his design.

Secondly, I don't think it'll be THAT bad in the finished product. Kid's Halloween costumes aren't exactly the most high-quality representations of the characters they're depicting. Now, if this were a figure from Hot Toys or something, then I'd say what we see is what we're getting. But just to give you some perspective...

The chain is SO tacky. I could deal with the sunglasses but it looks like Mikey is a wannabe rapper.

Wow. And I used to think the Next Mutation turtles looked terrible. If this is a sign of what the turtles are going to look like...yeah, this movie can rot.

The humanoid faces were obviously done so the real-life actors could still be seen through the Turtles.

How disgusting. Why would I want to see Turtles with human faces? Are one of them going to have a sex scene with Megan Fox?

The clothing and chain don't bother me...the sunglasses are a little weird to see, but whatever. What really bothers me is the tattoo and the skin, which is way too lizard like in my opinion. Way too many scales! I don't want to judge his face, because let's face it...it's a mask! It's obviously going to need to be a little "human like" to fit a human child's face! I mean, it looks like he has a human nose, but that could be just for the mask. The lips and chin, however, I'm not so sure about. It's by no means a great/perfect design, but I don't think it's downright horrible...I mean, at least it's not as bad as this:
