Isn't cool how each turtle has a best friend?
 

I think it's sort of cool how even though they are all brother that each of them have a best friend within the group. You know how leonardo and donatello are best friends while Michaelangelo and raphael are best friends with each other.

I'm going to get banned because I like how don/leo are best buds and raph/mike are best buds? I didn't know having an opinion will get you banned. It's just what i noticed. I see raph and mike hang out more. While don and leo talk to each other more.

Also, you realize a lot of times the when the turtles split up. it's usually don/leo and raph/mike.??

Ironic coming from the poster whose first post was asking if there was a petition to get the Nick series cancelled because you didn't like it.

In the comics Raphael and Michelangelo are professed to be best friends, though we don't actually see a lot of that. Donatello is a bit of a recluse there and Leonardo doesn't seem to be "best friends" with anybody.

Wasn't Mikey and Raph close in the 03 series as well? I know Raph and Leo had a love/hate relationship but still seemed really close.

Not really, I mean, they were together for awhile but nothing like Raph and Leo.

I thought Mikey and Don were close.....but maybe I just think that because they always seemed to stick together when Raph and Leo were complaining XD

as a younger sibling myself that means you want attention from that sibling.....even if it brings some pain.....XD but it's fun to do!!

I just assumed the turtles family was more rough and tough love.

I'm glad that people agree with me. I do think raph/mike have the closest bond. They're always messing with each other. don/leo are more mature though, so their bond is more of talking to each other about serious things. I think in an episode leo said that if he can trust any of his brothers that he can trust don. so that is what made me think their best buds too.

Raph and Leo have a mutual respect for each other (kinda like a rivalry)

Don and Mikey are opposites but get along well even so

Raph and Don are also opposites....but don't get along well AT ALL

Mikey and Raph mess around with each other alot

and Leo and Don are the smarter brothers and bond over that.

finally Leo and Mikey have a older brother/little brother bond....Mikey respects Leo and Leo takes care of Mikey

Why every thread in here turns into praise for the nick series?

and the thing is it isn't even that good it's waaay more episodic that even 87 series and the villains are bland and uninteresting.
it's obviously geared for kids under 12, there's almost nothing there for older audience...

I was kinds wondering that myself.

Because it has fleshed out the turtles' personalities so much in such a short time. This happens to be a thread about their interactions with one another, seemingly across the universes, which the Nick series is a part of.

XD....sorry....the Nick series is fresh in my mind so I picked it.
