So TECHNICALLY, she was in Mutagen Man Unleashed...but we never knew it was her until now. Anyway, I think her design is sweet...plus, it's always nice to have more female characters, and humans, too. I want an action figure of her but considering we haven't even gotten Karai yet...

CyberCubed 01-30-2014 04:46 PM

She has a nice design in this show, I like it.

I wonder if they'll keep her boy crazy trait from the OT though.

I'd prefer her be a lesbian. She should have a crush on April and maybe Karai if she ever sees her.

Now where are Vernon and Burne? Burne can be a teacher at the school and Vernon just another kid who harasses April and Irma.

I would honestly love if they worked that in such a way that her & Donnie could become good friends over their mutual crush. They're both geeks, too. It'd make for some pretty hilarious stuff, I think. Whether they're collectively fawning over her, or fighting for her attention, trying to impress her. It'd prolly never happen, though.

BabyTurtles 01-30-2014 05:08 PM

hoping she's not a love interest!! *_*

but if she HAS too....I'm putting my money on Mikey

cause Greg has been begging Ciro for one. :D

RaphAndDonnie 01-30-2014 05:09 PM

I like her boots and skirt. Can't wait to see her debut :D

BubblyShell22 01-30-2014 05:11 PM

That's awesome! So she was the girl in "Mutagen Man Unleashed" that we all guessed was Irma! Definitely can't wait to see her debut!

Luckyday 01-30-2014 06:16 PM

This design is much better then the one in my head.

BabyTurtles 01-30-2014 06:21 PM

glad she has shorts XD cause that skirt was short!!

Cure 01-30-2014 06:23 PM

She looks dumb to me. Oh well, whatevs.

Luckyday 01-30-2014 06:24 PM

I wonder why April consider her to be an eccentric? What are her weird qualities?

Shark_Blade 01-30-2014 06:29 PM

YAY IRMA!!

*screaming*

Leo656 01-30-2014 06:35 PM

They could've made her a bit more recognizable as "Irma", that wouldn't have hurt. If we weren't told it was her, would anyone know? The glasses are the only thing that lets us know. But it fits the style of the show, I guess. Not bad.

Not a huge fan of the boots. Someone's been rummaging through Guy Gardner's closet, apparently...

I'm glad they overhauled her look.

I didn't really care for her OT design...at all.....

though she could have had brown hair, but I'm not complaining!

I'm starting to wonder if all the good girls will have huge boots and knee high socks XD

Shark_Blade 01-30-2014 06:42 PM

I can't contain my joy!

Oh, I didn't *love* her OT look by any means. It's very "clunky". I know she wasn't supposed to be the most "appealing" female character, but her look was in no way flattering.

Most of my issue with the redesign is the same issue I have with seemingly every movie, cartoon, or comic redesign to come along recently: "A Little Too Busy".

Pop culture seems to go in waves with that kind of thing; in the mid-90s, every character redesign was all jumbled and cluttered, just blatant excess all over. Then in the 2000s, there was kind of a trend of "streamlining" things, cutting back some of the clutter and more like taking classic looks and giving them a subtle upgrade or simple modern twist. Now it seems like things are going back the other way again. It happens.

She looks fine for a kid her age, people dress like that. I don't dislike it. It'd just be nice if there was more to really establish that it was Irma for older fans, although, not sure how they'd do that.

Shark_Blade 01-30-2014 07:01 PM

I love her OT look and her now modern look. :D

I'm curious how they're gonna tackle her personality in this reincarnation. Still boy hungry? Haha. :tlol:

April looks like she has too many layers too XD lol

I hope Irma acts cool T^T

Bossa Nova 01-30-2014 07:10 PM

I really love her design. I absolutely hate it as Irma.

I seriously hope she's not boy crazy. Like...I don't know how much more I can take of this stupid tween "romance" crap. And I hope none of the turtles are interested in her in "that" way. This show could be really awesome, but all of this extra, needless romance garbage is really bringing it down for me and I don't know how much more I can watch if another girl is thrown in the mix just for the sake of another turtle crush. I thought I was watching an action show, not another high school soap opera.

You are watching an action show....when April's not in it :D

and she's not in EVERY episode.

True, but it's certainly skewed Don's entire character for me :ohwell: And not to forget Leo's entire introduction with Karai. If this was my first time being introduced to her I would honestly have thought she was made for the sole purpose of being Leo's love interest and everything else about her was tacked on as an afterthought.

But you're right, the other times April's non-existent is when I still have a glimmer of hope (like Slash and Destroy or Parasitica...I LOVE those episodes!). Those are the types of episodes that keep me watching for now.

I know... April gets on my nerves too... I've learned to block her out.
and that's that. *shrug*

don't expect her to be more than what she is now...it'll only make you upset...I tried.

Donnie is a GREAT character as long as he isn't being weird around April and like I said April doesn't show up every episode :) and there has been a couple of episodes where she doesn't bother me.

I can honestly say I like Casey more already and we've only seen 2 episodes on him.

and Karai isn't a love interest anymore. I thought that was over with when she tried to hunt down the turtles and April...twice.

I certainly haven't seen Leo be all happy when he sees her.
