http://m.nick.com/kids-choice-awards...orite-cartoon/

Go on, don't let Adventure Time wins!! Thank God that Sanjay and Craig isn't nominated.

Cure 02-24-2014 11:28 PM

I guess no one cares that it should be Kids' choice.

You people are gross.

FoxBoxKid 02-24-2014 11:36 PM

KCA has incredibly lazy nominations.

BabyTurtles 02-24-2014 11:46 PM

TMNT all da way ^_^

I'm worried Adeventure might take it though...

The Turtle Terminator 02-25-2014 12:26 AM

Fugitoid Jones 02-25-2014 12:56 AM

Hey I vote every year, I'm a kid at heart and I contribute to watching the shows on the network, so my voice matters too.

btw: I voted hard to make sure Wreck-It Ralph won Favorite Animated Movie last year. :D

Donatello19 02-25-2014 04:51 AM

Hopefully Spongebob wont win his like...what, 6 or 7th award in a row? I have a feeling TMNT will win...I know I'll vote for it.

drgon78 02-25-2014 06:25 AM

I hope the turtles win.

Metalwolf 02-25-2014 06:37 AM

So did I. Yes, SpongeBob must not takehome the award this year! TMNT deserves to win. Let's hope that Bread Winners toon doesn't make it to the award show next year. That thing looks disgusting. They should rename that one Fart Jokes. TMNT's got great writing, mature story telling, memorable characters, all that. Yeah glad Sanjay and Craig didn't get nominated.

BubblyShell22 02-25-2014 08:02 AM

I think it's okay if adults vote. How the hell are they gonna know anyway who's voting? Not like they can keep track. And if adults vote, maybe TMNT will win. I hope so because it's awesome. I guess I'll have to watch the show this year to see what happens.

I can't believe they don't make kids create a username and account. But yeah, might just have to watch a bit of kids' choice. Although I imagine the hosts will be screaming allot so I might constantly be changing the channel. Is it just me or are all those live action comedies on Nick and Disney filled with constant shrieking? lol

JTH 02-25-2014 01:20 PM

Some of the options aren't exactly kids related either, I mean "Big Bang Theory" for favorite TV show is not a kids show, Iron Man 3 isn't a kids movie, Wolverine who been nominated numerous times for Kids choice awards has dropped S-bombs in the X-Men movies is not kid friendly.

Hell some of the topics and options are made to encourage an older voter participation.

Just the way I see it.

CowabungaMikey 02-25-2014 01:44 PM

SpongeBob just doesn't deserve it. It wasn't funny like 8 years ago anymore.

No, they aren't.

Iron Man and Wolverine are PG-13. 13 years old is still a kid. I'm not sure about Big Bang Theory but I'm positive that isn't TV-MA, which is the only TV rating you can really say isn't kid appropriate.

Just face it, bunch of loser adults wanna make sure their favorites win instead of letting kids actually choose for themselves.

Are we telling the kids to not vote? I pretty sure the kids still choose who wins. Plus you do realize a bunch of 30-60 year old executives running Nickelodeon made the nominations, not kids right?

But it's the WWE argument, WWE is now a kids show built around kids, with characters made for kids, designed to be enjoyed by kids with adults being thrown to the back burner. But I watch the show and pay money for the product. Therefore my opinion matters, even if said entertainment is not made for me.

I maybe a "loser adult" by your definition, but if I watch TMNT, pay money to the TMNT product and therefore make Nickelodeon money, my opinion does matter also. "Kids Choice Award" is just a title, you do know that right?

If it was meant to be taken seriously, I don't think a guy that was singing "F*** You Thunder" last year in Ted would be hosting the show. Much less a guy who hasn't been in a non-R rated film since 2010.

Electric 02-25-2014 04:31 PM

Really not that big a deal that adults vote.

It's a show they really love that happens to be aimed at kids, aired on a kids station. They want the show to get recognition they feel it deserves. It's not like they're intentionally going through and voting in every category they can. Just for this show, or any other one they like. It's not gross at all. That sounded like an unnecessary way to dramatize this "issue" that you're trying to create.

It's not only adults voting. Kids I'm sure do too, and in the end, there's probably a ton more kids out there then a handful of adults voting.

Shark_Blade 02-25-2014 04:44 PM

Just ignore that snotty little **** and have fun. :tcool:

Btw, they'll announce the winners on Saturday, March 29, 8pm EST.

I don't many 2-10 year olds that use Twitter...

This must be gross, right Cure? :twink:

Aaronardo 02-26-2014 05:31 PM

I honestly kinda laughed at some of these picks. Of course, I guess that was the idea. I mean, "Most Enthusiastic Athlete?" It's like they made a whole category so Richard Sherman could win :P

Are you joking? Kids and teenagers are all over Twitter. You're not exactly helping anything.

Not necessairly, since the two main "kids" ratings demographics are 2-11 (Y) and 7-12 (Y7).

That said, I hope it wins since that is a great way to boost support! Plus, Nickelodeon was my preferred network as a kid (back when the four choices in say 1994 would have been "Rugrats", "Doug", "Ren and Stimpy", and "Rocko's Modern Life", so its a good way to carry the tradition as a kid.) Plus, even "G" and "PG" aren't really "kid" designated ratings. "G" is sort of the equivalent of an E-rated game (which originally meant "Kids to Adults" when the rating was called K-A back in the '90s), with PG an E-10+ game. And I'm complaining about the Peter Pan stigma since my Dad wore a Rocky/Bullwinkle shirt not too long ago and that is what he grew up on. Now if I was voting on what came on NBC Saturday Mornings nowadays which ARE definitely targeted at just kids, then it would be silly.

Lou 500 02-28-2014 03:18 PM

I voted, children be damned.

Leofan26 03-01-2014 02:18 AM

I really hope that dang Sponge doesn't win it this time, I wonder which fandom is bigger? TMNT or Sponge Bob's? Guess will see, course Nick some times cheats and plays favoritism, I hope this show wins...I'll vote any ways, good luck turtles :(

None of my favorite things win on this dang thing :x

Eiko 03-01-2014 02:38 AM

Who cares really if SpongeBob wins its for kids its not like its even recognized outside of Nickelodeon.

At least they don't check for ID (LOL). We're all kids @ heart, I too voted for TMNT because of one person, Greg Cipes!

The Stryker 03-08-2014 11:47 AM

Why is 'TMNT vs. Spongebob' still a thing?

It's getting kinda sad now.

TurFlytle 03-08-2014 12:41 PM

I'm actually quite happy Sanjay and Craig wasn't nominated. I never found any of the jokes funny. I was just bored like I was watching traffic for 20 minutes with some popcorn. I hope it gets cancelled and that it has no promotion (McDonalds, toys, etc.)

The problem with that show (and a lot of other shows these days) is that the characters are just props used to make stupid jokes. They all have little to no personality.

VaughnMichael 03-30-2014 03:20 PM

I see Spongebob won yet again.
I know quite a few people don't agree but I personally think this show has been doing some great things and that the cg on this show have really come a long way are very worthy of an animated award of some type.:)

BubblyShell22 03-30-2014 06:42 PM

That sucks that TMNT didn't win, but I guess there's always next year.

The Fifth Turtle 03-30-2014 07:07 PM

Someone needs to take down the Sponge Bob giant already.

Shark_Blade 03-30-2014 07:19 PM

I like Spongebob too but enough is enough.

It wasn't always so. Believe it or not, there was once a time when SpongeBob was actually really good.
