If I'm not mistaken today (May 5th) is the 30th anniversary of everyone's favorite mutant turtle brothers. So Happy anniversary to the franchise and to all us fans! :tgrin: :tpizza: :tparty: :trazz:

Anyone have any plans to celebrate today?

I'm going to watch some nick and OT and try to get my collection display sorted out. Might try to have some pizza too.

I will be watching some newer nick cartoons since i haven't really watched them in the last weeks for the most part.I also thought about watching the first episodes of the original cartoon and some 4kids as well as turtles forever but time will tell what I really watch, dont have that time actually;)haha...I am re-reading volume four at the moment from start to finish and am up to issue 16 right now, so Ill definetally be reading issue #17 today!

Hurray! Happy 30th TMNT and a huge thank you to Peter and Kevin for creating them. It's fantastic to think that the franchise has kept going all these years and new fans are joining all the time. They've been an important part of my life for 25 years and I certainly hope that for many more years to come the TMNT stick around.

Today I'll be watching a bit of the OT, reading some classic comics and probably either taking some toy pics or doing some commemorative art to celebrate. Go ninja, go ninja, go ninja, go! :tgrin:

Today I'm getting Kevin's and Peter's signature tattooed on my shoulder (after being signed at Jetpack comics). How's that for celebrating?!

TMNT sadly gets overshadowed by Cinco de Mayo. I'm surprised the Turtles' favorite foods weren't fish tacos with guacamole chips and a tequila. I'm going to watch Turtles Forever as a result since it ties the original comics, OT, and 4kids past!

Ill be driving home and reminiscing of the weekend. Truly one of the greatest weekends ever. If I had time, I'd go pour a 40oz. on the site where the Portsmouth HoJo used to be...

Watched the first 5 episodes of the original toon this weekend and the first half of 2k3 season 1.

Today's plan is to watch the second half of season 1 and the original movie with pizza at lunch.

Then this afternoon I'm going to play some TMNT 1, 2, 3 on the NES and maybe Turtles in Time on SNES (though that might wait since I will do a full playthrough on it for sure)

Happy anniversary, TMNT. Thanks to Kevin and Peter for creating them and making me a fan. I don't think I'll be doing anything because we're going to get thunderstorms. I was going to type some more of one of my stories, but it looks like we're going to get a storm shortly, so I'll have to get off. Bummer. But if we weren't getting storms, I'd be typing some stories and maybe watching some DVDs.

It's the best for now. Pretty sure the weekend my daughter's birth will be the best ever. But for now, this tops everything.

Woop woop! Happy birthday to TMNT. A quick over-exaggerated thanks to Peter, Kevin and everybody at Mirage Studios to bring this small, Daredevil parody to what it is today. Also, a thanks to everyone at Fred wolf, 4K¡ds, Nick, Saban, Golden Harvest, Paramount, Image, Archie and IDW for each of there vast incarnations. I also have to thank not only the writers, designers, creators and animators, but I think its also best to thank the voice actors, who with there amazing talents, have brought these characters to life.
I think Im speaking for everone here, by saying thanks and to the next 30 years. Happy birthday TMNT!!:tgrin::D:tgrin::D

Just finished watching season 7 of OT gonna move on to 8 in a bit, don't think i'll get through the rest of it today, but a sweet day so far

Happy 30th Anniversary! my first exposure to TMNT was via the 80s cartoon.

Love all the awesome plans for celebrating. I'm going to add some of the ideas here to mine..like reading the original comic and playing some of the video games.

30 years, that's one older then me!
(But don't worry I've certainly made up for it!)
Even though the TMNT have gone quiet for periods they've always been in the top of my favourite things (up there with Star Wars, transformers and Batman)
From the original cartoons, comics and movies through to 2k3 and beyond the TMNT have been a great part of my life.
Hopefully we'll see them go from strength to strength over the next 30 with IDW, Nick series and new movie('s) I know I'll keep them alive with my children!

ironically a cousin brought over a turtle he found, he's gonna clean him up and keep him as a pet. a native land turtle where i live. mmhmm.
