Punk Frogs? [Spoilers]
 

So, if you watched the latest episode, you'll have learned that..."Justina" (that's what I'll call her, because what else?) was dumping mutagen into a swamp for some reason, and it infected frogs. My theory is, she was mad at the Kraang authorities for betraying her, and attempting to build a mutant army to help her exact revenge. Now that she's gone, the frogs are just there.

There seems to be a bit too many coincidences here. The Punk Frogs, too, were originally tools in someone's evil scheme, before going off on their own. This seems like a call-back to that, and I kind of doubt they'll use frogs for another "monster" mutant; plus there are multiple ones.

So just to check on things, have there been any statements, or at least hints, that the Punk Frogs will be back?

I don't even understand what the thread starter is asking. The Punk Frogs clearly mutate from the scene at the end of the episode.

He wants to know if his suspicions are correct. They could be mutant frogs that aren't of the Punk variety. Don't be an asshole.

So if the one in the pony shirt is Napoleon, and the Mongolian one is Genghis, does that make the fat blue one Attila or Rasputin?

Good gravy; that "brony" frog looks like a caricature of gays and Asians all in one. Also, he has a turd on his head why?

I thought the tooth was to reference Napoleon Dynamite.

Its already been announced that he's a Napoleon Dynamite reference and will be voiced by John Heder. So everything about him will be some kind of ND reference. Well, it was funny in Korra so I hope they're...tolerable.

So I have not had the opportunity to see this yet. I thought it was just Napoleon Bonafrog/Dynafrog getting reworked for a return? Is it all four? Also, is there five Punk Frogs now?

Well, we know they're coming and based on the ending of the latest episode, it looks like the mutagen is going to mutate them. Whether they come in the next episode or not is still to be determined as we've gotten no info about the next episode. But it'll be interesting to see them and to see what they're about in this version.

Not sure, we only got the quick, dark glimpse or one or two regular frog faces (one with a bit of mutagen on it's head) in the end of the newest episode. Assumed I think that they'll show up in the next. (When ever that is... I don't think they showed a commercial for next week like they always do. :ohwell:)

Nope, no preview for the next ep, which means we're on hiatus for now. Not sure if the frogs will show up directly in the next ep or not. It just depends on what they want to air next.

Does Mikey run away or something? Could he run because he got in a fight with the others? It looks like a sewer grate they are standing on, is he in NY? Lot's of questions on this one picture. Who is Napoleon frog mad at?

It looks like a bunch of sticks tied together. They might be living in the trees and they are using some sort of bamboo flooring or something like that.

What if that episode referencing the adventures of Huckleberry Fin. :lol:

Kinda hoping we see NYC in an episode soon, as long as it's the characters that are already there, instead of the Turtles. He's probably mad at his tribes leader, but that might just be my speculation.

Did anybody notice most of the the frogs' eyes have glowing red pupils? I thought that was kind of cool :D

And where did people get six frogs from? In all of the pictures I've seen, I've only counted five.

If you look closely. One of them is standing behind the others. It's hard to see because they all look the same as triplets.
