The best actor to play Casey Jones in sequel?
If Casey Jones appeared in the next movie, who is the best actor that you believe would be suited for the role.
It's gotta be the best love interest for April to have and best partner for Raph. Someone who has skilled acting ability and combat technique. |
If even one of you mutha fuggas says Chris Evans...

Honestly, this is the one area I don't care about. Casey bores me. |

my vote would go to probably a wrestler...triple H from back in the day or Cena or go left field give it to Cruise or Crews |
Ewww those are terrible choices Bahston, no offense bro.
And I think the "No Evans" remark comes from people's tendency to take the lead actor from Recent Popular Movie In The Genre and plug them into every single movie that comes out. No clue, personally. I'd kinda rather see a lesser-known guy but that's not how this company rolls. Part of me thinks/fears that stupid internet video with John Morrison was actually a back door audition tape. I... think they might actually do that. If so, double-F*** that movie. |
joe manganiello ! But they will cast a young guy for sure so I don't know
|
Jane Fonda. She's a bad ass.
|
For this version, Channing Tatum, he's actually a pretty good actor (I think he's gotten better over the years anyway...), he's funny charming, can play the slightly dumb version of Casey and can match Raph Hulk.

I'd like to see the role go to CM Punk.

Since everyone is mentioning wrestlers, I think Seth Rollins most looks like him. He isn't bad on the mic, either, which translates into being a decent actor most likely.

Aaron Paul. He's a good actor. He'd bring the same edge Koteas brought. He's relatable but can also seem a bit crazy. He & Fox could have chemistry. He's popular. He's not a predictable choice but still realistic. If Cranston could do Godzilla, Paul could do Turtles. As I said before though, it'll probably be someone safe & dull like Liam Hemsworth. |

Anyways, screen junkies mentioned CM Punk recently, and also mentioned that Dave Green is a friend of their show... So, anyone wanna pony up? Why the push for this dude? I'd never heard of him, Until now... |

Hilarion Banks would be good he played Casey Jones in that Fan Film back in 2011

while not the best choice..it wouldnt surprise me to see Marky Mark in the role
he is on bays hot ticket at the moment |
Not to be a buzz kill but does it matter who's best to play what role if the script is still bad? Will Arnett was the best choice for Vernon and it still didn't do anything for what end up being on screen.
How good actor can be to work a crappy script? That's a rare gift. |

Punk and Wahlberg are both way too old for what they're going for. Although Punk would be interesting. But that wouldn't happen just because of the age, and his tattoos are too distracting. Covering them up would be a huge hassle on the part of the studio. Not that they wouldn't or couldn't do that, they likely wouldn't want to unless they absolutely had no better choices.
Think actors in their mid/late 20s. |

4, was awful. Just a joyless mess. Phoned in performances from everyone. |

And Transformers 4 is a hard film to be on board with (even on a guilty pleasure basis). John Goodman's trigger-happy Autobot was the only thing I didn't find painful. |
AOE is my favorite second from the first one. Optimus had the best character devlopement in the movie.
|
AOE has good robot moments...but it lacked true story...and it really didnt live up to the world TF3 gave us
again plot holes but then again going into Transformer films for story your setting yourself up for disappointment |
Joseph Gordon Levitt would probably make a good Casey.
|
Paramount should've kept Knoxville for Casey. 1.49 of solid proof:

for this version I would just pick someone awful. why waste someone that will play Casey well on this version? with that being said I pick macaulay culkin for this version.

But im just saying. What happens when they just make a Miracle(in your eyes) and knock the screen play out of the park. lets say the modify the turtle enough to please most. what happens if Megan pulls it out of her ass and surprises you all. What if everything just clicks with this next movie. then what? I understand you all think that is impossible |

I haven't heard the interview myself, but I thought it sounded pretty interesting. I'll try to find out which podcast it was. |
I too heard he was interested a week or two ago, through a friend who loves wrestling, but I was unaware of the WWE's interest in buying the property. Huh! That would have been terrible. I wonder who else was eyeballing the TMNT. I myself am not a fan of wrestling, I just happen to know of CM Punk & feel he'd both look the part & carry the role, as the character is not unlike his on-stage persona, from what I've seen.

The podcast was The Art of Wrestling with Colt Cabana, episode 226 or 227. Anyone wanna check it out? They're pretty long, and I'm not much of a wrestling fan. It would be interesting to hear what he has to say about it, though. https://soundcloud.com/coltcabana |
Personally I can't see myself sitting through it, but I've got a homeboy who eats this stuff up, so I'll pass it his way. As for whether or not that rumor is true, there's always a chance. I've heard stranger. Knowing there could have been a TMNT film starring Billy Crystal & Gallagher is enough for me to say confidently that anything could happen. :tlol:

Aaron Paul is not too good for these movies. He did Need for Speed.
|
A non-actor to be one of the leads in the sequel cause he looks the part.
No-ones suggested a better choice than Aaron Paul so far. |
Aaron Paul is a talented dude but he's about as good a fit as strawberries & piss. & he's too short.
