New Title: What was I thinking? This is a Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles message board

I know some people don't like to talk about anything considered religious on this forum, but I learned something very interesting. I just want to share it with you.

In The Holy Bible Daniel 7:4 reads the following:

(King James Bible)
"The first was like a lion, and had eagle's wings: I beheld till the wings thereof were plucked, and it was lifted up from the earth, and made stand upon the feet as a man, and a man's heart was given to it."

(New Living Translation)
"The first beast was like a lion with eagles' wings. As I watched, its wings were pulled off, and it was left standing with its two hind feet on the ground, like a human being. And it was given a human mind."

The lion represents Great Britain. The eagle represents The United States of America. The United States of America stands on its own separate from Great Britain. The "7:4" in Daniel 7:4 could be viewed as 7/4 or July 4th. The birthday for my country, as you know, is July 4th, 1776.

Remember that it is a choice to be offended (as my fellow Technodromer Leo656 said), so if you get angry about my post, you are choosing to be angry.

Powder 12-21-2014 11:17 PM

I dunno about anyone else but I'm choosing to be offended that you would say "Remember that it is a choice to be offended (as my fellow Technodromer Leo656 said), so if you get angry about my post, you are choosing to be angry." at the end of a thread that is not supposed to be here at all, for reasons I need not list.

Super Goku 12-21-2014 11:31 PM

I guess that mentality would be like the agents in The Matrix movie who don't want the people to know about the real world.

Never mind, enjoy your day my fellow TMNT fan. I sincerely apologize if I have offended you. Here in the United States of America we have freedom of speech and freedom of religion. I hope we are all adult enough to talk about any topic without resorting to being offended.

Powder 12-21-2014 11:34 PM

Considering this is a forum based on being adults obsessed with what is, let's face it, a children's property, you're coming to the wrong place to introduce whatever ass-backwards concept of "the real world" you have in mind when 90% of the people who come here, do so to escape exactly that.

& since you're too dense to get the big picture here, I'll make it big & bold-

RELIGIOUS TOPICS OF ANY NATURE ARE NOT PERMITTED.

Super Goku 12-21-2014 11:38 PM

Then if that is the case, I don't want to be a part of your community any longer. Freedom of speech and freedom of religion are American, and I don't want to be anywhere that is un-American.

You resort to insults. That says a lot.

I forgive you though, I do.

You should also know it is the right time for me to take off my mask. I am Toonami Tom and I am Mega Man. I have locked myself out of those accounts, so I had to create a new one to post.

:)

Powder 12-21-2014 11:41 PM

You've said you wanted to leave our community multiple times, maybe this time you'll keep your word, hmm? Also, having multiple accounts is an instant ban. So, fingers crossed! :)

plastroncafe 12-21-2014 11:42 PM

Can we make Not Understanding the First Amendment an insta-ban offense too? Because...wow that'd be great.

Whoa, WHAT?! F*cking plot twist!

Wait, I dunno who those people are.

DarkFell 12-21-2014 11:42 PM

I don't totally know a lot about TMNT outside of the shows. But I'm gradually getting there.
However, I've seen threads like this get locked up.
Religious topics aren't all bad and there are places to discuss them.
This site isn't one of them.

Super Goku 12-21-2014 11:43 PM

Hmm I seem to have offended you, Mr. Powder.

Do you mind if I think of myself as Obi-Wan Kenobi and you are Darth Vader? Just for fun, nothing serious, just a little game. Episode 4 of Star Wars.

Powder 12-21-2014 11:45 PM

As a fellow American, your stupidity offends me. Beyond that, I'm a mellow fellow.

Darth Vader believes in the force, ya boob!

I'm a mellow fellow too. We're both Technodrome posters, turtles fans, and Americans.

Perhaps I am stupid. I don't know. *shrugs shoulders*

For the record, I am locked out of my old accounts. So I now have only 1 account. This 1 account now.

That's true. lol, well I messed up on that one.

I forgive everybody. I hope everybody forgives me. I would very much like to stay here with my fellow Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles fans. If you guys and gals don't like religious topics, then okay, I just won't discuss religious topics anymore. I get it now, I will keep my topics related to Teenage Mutant Ninja turtles, and movies, and video games, and just entertainment from now on.

2015 is a new year, so here's hoping for new beginnings and peace.

Whatever though. I already told Krang about my old accounts.

CyberCubed 12-22-2014 12:11 AM

The new topics posted in this section of the forums lately has gotten very bizarre. I can't believe what I'm reading here sometimes.

Powder 12-22-2014 12:12 AM

You are not alone, Cybercubed.

Super Goku 12-22-2014 12:15 AM

I realize that I type what may be considered abnormal sometimes.

I don't know what to say at this point. I'm sorry. I hope sorry is enough.

I know I have been controversial at times.

There are a lot of odd topics on this website. Who is to say what is and is not normal?

I agree, dude.

I agree.

Omg, please tell me you're Third Eagle of the Apocalypse on YouTube.

Do you have more stuff on how Obama is the black panther for the end times?

BubblyShell22 12-22-2014 08:49 AM

Dude, you did this just to p*ss people off when you were warned not to. Yes, we do have freedom of speech and so forth, but this forum also has rules, and yet you continue to break them for your own enjoyment. I don't believe in any of this stuff you've posted. It's all just a coincidence from a book of fairy tales.

See, this is why we don't allow religious discussion. Because some people cannot resist the urge to stick their middle finger up at your beliefs.

I understand. They're not just my beliefs. Government leaders are sworn in on my religious book. So if I'm delusional, or crazy, then that's very scary to think that government leaders have the same beliefs that I do.

I know that I might be wrong. I can not prove that my beliefs are correct. I don't have any hard evidence.

I'm disgusted with myself for even creating this topic.

slashpieturtlemix 12-22-2014 04:01 PM

I am one for conspiracy theories and all that but bringing in someone's beliefs is a huge no go. We don't need more bible code stories or studies of these books. You can find plenty of places for that.

Eh, relatively harmless really unless ignorant or bad people try to use it to find justification for bad things. (i.e. That "insane pastor" of another recent thread.)

But unless someone wants to get into volatile discussions they may regret later, best to leave the religion, politics,[list amendment - or he who's name should not be spoketh (Jason Biggs)] out of it. ;)

slashpieturtlemix 12-22-2014 04:09 PM

Also, this is a little off topic but didn't you make a thread yesterday saying that you wouldn't do these kinds of topics any more?

Not sticking up a middle finger at his beliefs at all. I just believe that the Bible is nothing more than a book of fairy tales, so that's why I said I didn't believe in any of what he posted. If he wants to believe in it, more power to him. I just choose not to believe because I feel that it's all a waste of time and a bunch of nonsense.

Now we're talking! But please explain this:

This sounds awfully like interpretation. Bible should be taken literally. You either understand God's word like it is, or you don't. If you don't understand it, you don't know how to be a true believer, and you don't get to the Heaven.

BubblyShell22 12-22-2014 05:23 PM

I think he's trying to say that certain symbols represent certain countries and that number represents the birth of America. But I just don't see that at all myself. Just a bunch of blathering to me. Reminds me of The Da Vinci Code. I think he's been reading too much of it.

Some man on TV told me that. I decided to share the information with this message board after watching TV. End of story, but yes eagle represents USA and lion represents the British.

You guys and gals are starting to turn me into an agnostic.

Cure 12-22-2014 06:24 PM

You are easily swayed, then.

I do not trust myself to make good choices when it comes to important topics. That's why I would never want to be a medical doctor. I have low self-esteem. I don't want to screw up.

DarkFell 12-22-2014 08:02 PM

A forum should be a lot of fun to ya dude because isn't some dark and scary pit and we're not out to get you. Heck, I've been having fun since I got here and the majority of it was just communicating with other people about all sorts of stuff.

CyberCubed 12-22-2014 08:09 PM

Thread needs to be locked.

Jester 12-22-2014 08:23 PM

You really ought to just add that to your signature, Cubed.

don't be so down on yourself that's not healthy

Netkeeper 12-23-2014 12:28 AM

There's a reason why many non-religious people hate religious people.

You want to guess why, OP?

Powder 12-23-2014 01:17 AM

Could we not do this?
