I remember seeing the concept art for this in the Ultimate Visual History, and even loved it as concept art. Really looking forward to seeing these episodes, needless to say.

This is the most badass thing I've ever seen in a cartoon, I'm totally freaking out over the Spirit Quest episode.:D

Maybe the city is under government quarantine like we have speculated. Given the background, I'd say the EPF are firing at the Turtles to prevent them from entering the city. Because in the part where you see the turtle wagon bursting through the gate there are the buildings of the city. But in the part where the EPF are firing it looks like their are bushes or trees, or rocks in the background.


We only see Donnie and Raph in this shot. Perhaps they were wanting to see what was still salvagable from their old lair or at least getting some supplies from their old lair. And a security drone was placed there by the Kraang and/or the Foot incase anyone came down there.

^ Did you also notice that the EPA had kraang like weapons? Did they had them in the season 2 finale?

Maybe they have been Kraangified under those helmets? The Turtle van is coming out of their building, but the building looks like something you'd get from the Kraang. It has all of those glowey purple highlights on it.

Putting Venus on the side of the Turtle Van. Like anyone other than old fogeys are even aware of that character.

This is gonna be epic, January 11th can't come fast enough!

I love that their new outfits are very de-saturated & pretty much white. Unexpected. Very sharp.
