How has your day been?

I just got a 3 month ban on another forum. Yay!

Davetello 01-02-2015 12:04 PM

It's been okay. Messing around looking at things and flitting from place to place on the internet. Got no study or watching of TV shows done, which is a shame as I'd planned to use today for that. But I got no sleep last night so that all went out of the window.

Candy Kappa 01-02-2015 12:34 PM

My day's been relatively chill. spent the morning watching Fresh Prince with my partner, and work have been very quiet.

AT-Man 01-02-2015 03:51 PM

I woke up and had to throw up, because I got ill.

Powder 01-02-2015 04:45 PM

Very motivated to draw, had some pizza, discovered an episode of my favorite anime that I was not aware existed, so it's a good one thus far.

Whatswiththeheadbands? 01-02-2015 05:23 PM

Really boring an uneventful.

tmntpower1988 01-02-2015 05:31 PM

Didn't do much, watched some Pokemon episodes earlier then played Saints Row on the Xbox 360. Waiting on a Dominos pizza, can't wait for it to come, it's been a while since I've had pizza.

IndigoErth 01-02-2015 05:40 PM

Kind of a nothing sort of day. One of those I haven't accomplished much, spent most of it on the computer and look toward a window only to feel surprised it's already dark out.

Thanks for your sympathies! At least I don't feel nauseous anymore but the fever stays.

Donnieangelo 01-03-2015 04:40 PM

It's snowing outside right now! :o

Just spent a whole day in my pajamas. Oh yeah.

TMNTFOREVA 01-03-2015 09:36 PM

It's just been a boring rainy day.... :)

Peanut 01-03-2015 09:44 PM

I had been planning to play some games today, but it seems like that's just never in the cards for me anymore. My fiance had a rare late work day, which meant from 2 - 11 I'd be alone and without obligation. Basically turned into a few hours of cleaning, some light cooking and then the weather got awful and my brain exploded.

Laid on the couch watching a Godzilla movie and suffered from intense migraine the entire time. Another day wasted. Absolute bullsh*t. The beer was cold and everything!

snake 01-03-2015 09:59 PM

I played video games all day. Truely living the life.

Peanut 01-03-2015 10:05 PM

You got it, snake. Live that dream and allow me to live vicariously through you!

Ravenshell 01-04-2015 05:06 AM

Woke up from a nightmare. Been puttering around since. Had some zucchini bread though, so that makes everythihng better. ^_^

IndigoErth 01-04-2015 07:34 AM

After 8:30am and I have not been to bed. Saw the link to that "blue door" script...had never really looked at it before. So... after meaning to go to bed at a slightly more sane time I stayed up and read the damn thing. I think a part of me died at the end, how am I supposed to go to sleep with this now burned into my mind. How do I cleanse myself from the knowledge of that which I am glad never became "real." (And it better as hell not.) So far that's how my day is - I feel icky. Heartbroken maybe, among the high levels of wtf. Hope a little sleep gets rid of that.

Mew 01-04-2015 08:08 AM

Meh

I have been meh. It's my first day of going on a diet.

pennydreadful 01-04-2015 05:39 PM

Honey, your profile says you're 11 years old - I'm sure that you don't need to go on a diet. Your body needs food to grow and stay strong. If you're worried about your weight, you should talk to your doctor - I wouldn't be doing anything more than cutting back on junky stuff like soda/chocolate/crisps, and just taking a walk/doing a half hour or so of exercise a couple of times a week.

Davetello 01-04-2015 06:24 PM

Yep. You're only eleven man. You should be enjoying your youth, not worrying about your weight :(

Ashangelo 01-04-2015 06:34 PM

Worked 7-5, did some grocery shopping, now relaxing at home.

The glorious life of an adult lol.

Davetello 01-04-2015 06:48 PM

Waiting on an assignment score. Been confirmed that it will be received by Tuesday. I think I might do fairly well but I also made some obvious & glaring errors, uncharacteristically. I look forward to getting the result though - the tutor seems very nice and she always gives good feedback.

Prowler 01-04-2015 07:03 PM

Just a typical relaxing Sunday. Monday is nearing by, though. :(

blindturtle02 01-04-2015 07:06 PM

Hasn't been too eventful. That's how I like weekends. I started some sort of Forgotten Relms series of books that numbers in the 200's and am totally lost as to where they all fit chronologically. Watched some Simpsons season 3 and 7. Oh, and I slept a lot this afternoon. I couldn't help it. It was freezing outside.

Sounds about right. Weekends, especially Sunday, is a day to just sit back and take it easy.

blindturtle02 01-04-2015 07:52 PM

Exactly. I love to read so I usually set aside quite a lot of time on weekends to do that.

IndigoErth 01-04-2015 08:33 PM

So... after the all-nighter, I got out of bed at like, um, 4pm. I regret nothing. (Well, reading that script is something. Other than that...) Rained all day and temps never made it to into the 60s as predicted, so.. meh, didn't miss much. I did get the fish tank cleaned, that's something.

Well played. Not a thing wrong with all-nighters. I did a 48 hour er, went to bed at 3pm, missed all of the football and woke up at 11.30pm. It's now 2.35 am.

I've been pulling 1 every month lately since I keep fixing and breaking my sleep. I don't like them, though. And 8 times out of 10, my body tells my mind to go to bed at around 10-11 am.

My record is being up for 33 hours straight. 48 and beyond? Don't you start having hallucinations and paranoia at that point? And around 65 hours... don't you just collapse on the ground and fall asleep instantly?

Slade 01-04-2015 09:14 PM

Today is one of those f*ck everybody and everything days!

Think somewhere between 33 and 36 is my personal record, unintentionally. Hadn't been able to sleep at all one night then had to work all the following evening at a part-time job. Came home and stupidly had an energy drink with dinner. Those things have never made me feel anything so didn't think they really affect me much, and it was some berry flavor, it was pretty good. But then it kept me awake a second night.

I'm not much of a drinker and never been drunk in my life, but the effects of that amount of lack of sleep was probably the nearest I've been to something similar to being drunk. I had to call off a work, there's no way I could have even handled driving. Worried my mother but I was mildly amused. That next sleep was super really good though, 13 hours straight I think. lol

I don't like them, but they can be useful now and then.

48 hours wasn't planned. I almost did start having hallucinations, yes. Actually, I said on here that I woke up in that period but that was a lie - I hadn't actually slept, I'd just tried to. But I like to pretend I'm a normally functioning individual from time to time so I lied and said I'd been sleeping.

I have incredible stamina (oo-er). I've been awake for 30-50 hours on multiple occasions. I don't drink coffee and rarely drink energy drinks either.

The toughest parts about all-nighters are resisting the temptation of lying on bed at two times of the day:

- Early morning(between 6 and 10 am). Doesn't matter how long you've been up, whether it's been 4 hours or 20. Early morning ALWAYS makes you sleepy.

- Mid-afternoon(From 4pm on). Don't even dare to take a quick nap. You shut your eyes off for about 5 minutes and once you open them... it's 8pm.

Redeemer 01-04-2015 09:38 PM

Worked all day but I have the next two days off :D

Fvck sake man, that's so true. I thought it was just me

I drink coffee, but not energetic drinks. I must be the only person in the world who still hasn't tried Red bull. I need to cut back on coffee, though, since it makes me anxious sometimes. And man, when I pull allnighters, my anxiety gets kinda bad around lunch time. And speaking of that, allnighters make me hungry as hell due to the unbalanced levels of sugar in my blood to keep my body awake. So they end up being the opposite of profit.

Haha, I get what you're saying son.

You should get into sports - play football, lift weights, whatever. That will allow you to develop a routine, discipline, as well as making you tired enough to sleep at night.

I used to hit the gym a few years ago. Might try to get back to it this year. Although, after a certain point, I just got bored of lifting weights, and had trouble managing my free time once I joined University.

I'm thinking about starting with some weights this year. I need to eat a lot though. I saw some photos from 2011 & my arms were really big. Probably looked bigger because of the angle of the photos but back then I was still significantly more muscular than I am now, since I'm now a scrawny runt.

If we were from the same area we could have been gym buddies. Oh well.

I joined the gym because I'm the opposite. I'm naturally thin. In fact, I come from a long lineage of thin people. Not even when they gotten older have my family members gained weight significantly. It took me like two gym sessions to get biceps. Before that I couldn't carry a grocery bag containing two 1,5L water bottles all the way home from the supermarket. Also, I've gotten fairly visible abs since then. Not a six pack, but if you stand about 5 meter away from me, you'll definitely notice them. Being skinny has that advantage, I suppose. Also, I'm that dude who has weak chest muscles but strong and wide back muscles.
