Wow. This anime, just wow! The only saving grace is its not dubbed in English! The Super Mutants toys, based on it, I think, were cool!

What many people don't realize is that like the OT was a parody of movies and shows the OVA was a parody of different Anime at the time like Saint Seiya so while weird its definitely in the spirit of the show, its not actually taking itself seriously just parodying the other shows. I wish it had been dubbed and released in America on DVD with Viacom owning it now it seems less likely. Too bad when it came out Anime wasn't popular in the states or it would've definitely come out.

I do like how Krang's voice is high pitched. It seems anime likes to have that one character with this high pitched voice in everything. When I first heard Goku's true voice, I about pooped myself! |
So, umm... two questions. 1) Why is Raphael is so nice in this version? 2) Can Shredder, Bebop and Rocksteady be dumber than this? :lol: Thanks for sharing I loved it and enjoyed it. It was really something new :D

I found the Turtle toons from Japan to be quite entertaining and a worthy side-story for the OT. I'm kind of surprised they've never gotten a proper English release.

The best thing about this was Krang hands down xD. His voice is so...disturbing yet cute in a really creepy way. And the way he calls shredder Sawaki-chan...rofl.
I would not mind if these had more parts or episodes, hell i am sure the potential would be pretty big :D And yes Bebop, Rocksteady and Shredder are even more dumb as in the original cartoon surprisingly. |
