Lump on my neck
 

I have a lump on my neck, the stitches and hurts when touched.
Is it abscess or tumor?

You should get it looked at by a doctor - it could be anything.

It's probably just neck cancer. It's best to just ignore it and hope it goes away on its own.

Asking here is not a bright idea. There's not much to go by, but my guess would be that it's a cyst.

Far as I understand tumors often don't hurt. Guessing more like the abscess or cyst, though there's glands in the neck that can have issues for various reasons - but I'm not a doctor, go see one.

Edit: Esp don't put it off though if it's clearly increasing in size and pain, an abscess is nothing to mess with if that's what it turns out to be. Dr. needs to handle that, soon. Can say that much from experience, but not in the neck region.

Yeah...I would get that checked out as soon as possible...hope it's nothing serious

I'd put my money on staph. Get it checked out posthaste.

Ah, I've now been to doctor and removed it.
It was just a vernal abscess.
But I feel good now!
