Sprukits

Bandai are making Sprukit figures based on the Nick turtles. They were displayed at the toy fair, but photos were not permitted.

zaktheneutrino 02-15-2015 10:46 AM

I'm not familiar with Sprukits. Have any pics from other figures in this style?

Sweet!
Who is in the line?

Powder 02-15-2015 11:12 AM

Oh great, more figures we'll have to paint ourselves. :tlol:

These could be cool, though. Bandai makes nice stuff. Dunno if I wanna double dip on Nick turtles given I have the Revoltech figures, but we'll see.

These should be pretty cool. I was thinking the same thing, Powder. Although I only own Donnie in the Revoltech series and may never get the other three due to cost. So these may be nice alternatives. How much do these figures cost, roughly? Also, do you put these together yourself or was I reading about something else?

It hasn't been said online, but those who went to the toy fair might be able to answer that.

They are kits, so you do put them together. They have three levels, with level one being the least difficult at Ten dollars, level two at twenty dollars, and level three at thirty dollars

turtlefanforever 02-15-2015 07:16 PM

hmm

Sounds like they could be good. I'm not a fan of the Nick series but looks like quality stuff from this company. I don't get why some people need to be a freakin martyr about paint jobs on figures though. If you really hate it that much just don't get it. It's fine to point it out but no need to go out of your way to say you're customizing something. Not singling anyone out.

Jester 02-15-2015 07:46 PM

Sorry, it was my first thought.

If that's the case, why even say as much?

turtlefanforever 02-15-2015 07:55 PM

You have some absurd obsession that I'm out to get powder. So just trying not to get flagged over some BS.

Thank you for the information and answering my next question on what the levels were all about :)

I'm interested in seeing these. Hopefully someone can tell us who was on display.

Spidergreg 02-16-2015 01:37 AM

Oh, so these are Japanese?
GREAT!

Gunstar_Red 02-16-2015 04:06 AM

Awesome! If they are anything like Kotobukiya figures, you don't necessarily need to paint them. Its up to the owner. Since the Turtles don't have armor or any other shiny surfaces (other than eyes), I think they will look fine flat with the colors they are molded in.

That's only IF they are Kotobukiya quality...

Candy Kappa 02-16-2015 04:19 AM

They have their own website http://sprukits.bandai.com/index.html

This is interesting, and I hope we get Shredder, or other 2nd characters and not just the Turtles. Although, I'd imagine we're only getting the Turtles and maybe one more extra character. The roster on the website wasn't very impressive with the character amount.

Looks like level 1 figures are in the 4 inch height, level 2 is 5 Inch height and level 3 are in the 9 inch height.

Gunstar_Red 02-16-2015 04:45 AM

Ugh! They are not anything close to Kotobukiya quality! Disappointed! :/

I'll probably just get a Leo and that's it. No way I'm going to paint all 4 Turtles. :/

Mew 02-16-2015 06:14 AM

Let's hope the Sprükits are good.

joefsas 02-16-2015 07:57 AM

These look awsome! I'd love to get stuck into one of these.

The Boston Ninja Turtle 02-17-2015 08:20 PM

i remember seeing the Batman ones at Toys r us..if memory serves me right they come pre painted just a few stickets need applying

Rukitron 02-17-2015 11:04 PM

That small scale ones aren't very good, but the big scale ones are nice, so it really depends what they're doing. I did like the Keroro model kits Bandai of Japan made.

Toyark stated that they are either level 2 or 3.

Candy Kappa 05-14-2015 03:31 PM

I can't find any new info about these, the lack of pictures or a roster list really bugs me...

sluggedup226 07-09-2015 01:35 PM

First look at the Sprukit turtles

Thank you for these! I've been excited to see the Sprukits. They look pretty stiff (I guess they are model kits so that makes sense) and shiny though...only the first pic is showing up for me so I'll have to make a final judgment when I see more.

I'm not sure why the last two pics aren't showing up, but you can view them here http://toynewsi.com/news.php?itemid=24981&catid=136

Just received this information from Bandai through email:

The Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles SpruKits will be at Toys R Us/Amazon.com by approximately November 1, 2015. With seven points of articulation (head, shoulders, elbows, hands and hips), figures will be assembled from 30+ pieces with an SRP of $9.99.

so..level 1 basic eh? bummer...hope they make better posible ones. be nice to get mirage style versions.

Candy Kappa 07-23-2015 03:16 AM

Which means they will be around 4 inches tall then.

That's pretty lame that they are making them level 1, especially considering level 2 have double jointed knees and elbows and extra changeable hands. Maybe more will come later. :ohwell:

Ninjinister 07-23-2015 03:38 AM

3.75"/4" is my preferred scale these days so it'd be nice to finally have some Turtles in that scale. And at $9.99 they wouldn't be too pricey for customs once I have the dough.

sluggedup226 07-23-2015 07:43 AM

Originally they were reported as level 2 at both Toy Fair and SDCC. Makes me wonder if that was changed during the process, but I'll try to get a response from Bandai to confirm.

Candy Kappa 07-23-2015 09:25 AM

It might be a possibility we're getting from all three levels, it looks like most of the licenses they have at least figures off two different levels

sluggedup226 10-02-2015 09:28 AM

Here are the release pictures of the figures

Leo

Raph

miru 10-02-2015 11:02 AM

I need these Sprukits! Mainly for kitbashing, though.

go_ninja84 10-02-2015 11:24 AM

must have these!!!!

Powder 10-02-2015 02:26 PM

Easy pass. Love Gundams, love TMNT, but not tryna combine the process there. This format doesn't do the turtles justice, IMO. If they're gonna be boxy & angular they might as well just go all out & make mecha instead.

You lie! Obviously you like when they combine them or you wouldn't have Turtle Saint as your avatar man! :trazz:

Oh can you imagine, the Super Turtles and Turtle Saint given the level 3 treatment?!?! That'd be sweet!

Powder 10-02-2015 02:59 PM

Ha! Good point. I'd love Gundam turtles, actually, I just don't wanna feel like I'm putting together/looking at a robot when I'm not. :trazz: Metalhead or The Turtle Mech would be great kits, though!

Anything Turtle Saint or otherwise related to the anime would be an instabuy. I am hugely into it.

mgambino 10-03-2015 08:45 AM

For $10.00 each I'll pick these up. The question is if I put them on the shelf with my turtles on my Gundams?

Mew 10-03-2015 08:55 AM

I may get Mikey.
