Voice of Bishop
If Agent John Bishop does appear in this series, who do you think would voice him?
|
If Bishop appears he'll probably be so radically different and redesigned from 4kids Bishop just like Hun is that he'll probably be nothing alike.
Not knowing what his personality is in this series his voice could be anything. After Rocksteady became a Russian and Hun an Asian, for all we know Bishop could be Irish or British or something. |
Jennifer Hale.

Watch them make Bishop into a Brit. He'll say things like, "Jolly good show" and "Cheerio" like Rocksteady says, "Da" and, "Nyet."

I fully endorse this!! |
I'd have another option to add to the poll, Steve Blum.
We've already had him come on as Speed Demon, which was an okay role. But I feel that was more of him testing the waters as a character within the TMNT universe. On nick shows, Steve Blum is more well known for his role as Amon on Legend of Korra. Here's an example of a voice he's done that could be possible for Bishop Jeff Bennett is also a suitable voice for Bishop. He's has numerous voices jobs under his belt, some of the more notable voices he's done is Brooklyn and Owen Burnett on Gargoyles. He's also done the voice of Kowalski from Penguins of Madagascar (TV series not the movies) and Shiro Shinobi on Legend of Korra. This video has some of his voice roles I'd say of these particular voices I'd say the voice he uses For Brooklyn (Gargoyles), Red Tornado (Young Justice), and Darth Revan (Star Wars something) Are the voices that could fit Bishop. And the fact he's buddies with Rob Paulsen doesn't hurt either. |

I was gonna say there's a chance we won't even get a Nickelodeon incarnation of Bishop, though I could be wrong. At any rate, keep the thread going.

British however is just an accent and the image some Americans have of British people is absolutely retarded. |
Alright, serious suggestions:
Mark Hamill Steve Blum Patrick Stewart And given the crew's tendancy to nod-cast: Hugo Weaving Jan Rabson Joshua Seth Willem Dafoe James Earl Jones Ian McDiarmid |

Lance Henriksen. That is all.

I voted for Jim Cummings because it would be cool to see him return to TMNT in some capacity. Didn't he play Leatherhead in the original show?

A thought occurred to me. If Bishop is going to be in this series, there's a chance that he knew Mrs. O'Neil. And I mean the real one, not that shapeshifter.

Sorry, I couldn't resist. |

For a realistic answer in this series, just look to horror movie actors that haven't already played someone else. I'd say Jeffrey Combs but he's already Rat King.
Regarding the British stuff, unless you are intentionally changing things, you don't want that because he's a total American G-man type dude. He's MIB, he's Agent Smith. You could make him be from another country's organization or an international one and do it though, sure. |
Corey Burton only because I'd want him to use his Hugo Strange voice from Batman Arkham City for laughs.
If not, I'd say Steve Blum. I can see the type of voice work he does for Bishop. |
I want to say Steve Blum, but I kinda hear him a lot everywhere. So, probably Jeff Bennett or even Brent Spiner.
I would be more worried about whether or not Bishop is portrayed as a formidable threat. Particularly after the EPF's poor showing against the Kraang. ;) |

Morgan Freeman, although I think he should voice everyone.
