Notable TMNT characters who have yet to get a Nick debut

Let's make a list of notable TMNT characters yet to have their debut in the Nick cartoon. Some of these have already been confirmed via upcoming toys or info, but I'm going to list them already until their episodes air:

- Triceratons (confirmed to be coming eventually)
- Tokka
- Neutrinos
- Fugitoid (confirmed via toy)
- Renet (confirmed via toy)
- Savanti Romero (confirmed via a toy)
- Wingnut and Screwloose
- Man Ray
- Agent Bishop
- Armaggon (Ciro hinted?)

As far as know they're not going to use IDW characters so no Old Hob or Alopex. A lot of other Archie staples (Ninjara, Null, Malinga) are also probably not going to show up. I suspect the same for a lot of the obscure human/alien characters from Mirage and Image.

1. That's Bruce Lee.

2. He won't become Tokka.

Add Mona Lisa, Ninjara or Alopex on that list.

Isn't April technically a neutrino.

I mean we don't know much about the Neutrino's as a race other then the fact they are a humanoid race from Dimension X. They don't like war.

And that they have psychic powers as children which fade away as they grew older.

Neutrino's have not been officially introduced on the 2012 scene. But if they were, I can imagine that the Neutrinos could be humans who have been created through the Kraangs experiments.

There has to be more then just April after all why would the Kraang conveniently happen to come across the one family that had the DNA strand they needed.
April also has psychic powers which she can't explain, she just knows she'd had them since she was a small child.

And when Donnie tells her that she's a half human/half alien mutant it's more like he didn't really have any other way to describe what she was at that point in time.

drgon78 03-23-2015 05:56 PM

Well that whole April is a Neutrino idea is something I wish they would use.

I would be happy to see any of those characters except Man Ray.

Why do you only ever talk about yiffbait?

I'm convinced the Nick writers can make Man Ray into an awesome character. Think of the underwater battles and his gliding ability.

Would be cool to see Merdude as well since he's basically the "Aquaman" of the TMNT universe. Especially if they do their Lost City of Atlantis story.

Powder 03-23-2015 07:08 PM

Merdude would definitely be a welcomed inclusion. I always felt he was underused & had great potential. Granted he had an OT appearance & Archie mini-series, he was always off the radar, nobody seemed to pay him much mind.

Autbot_Benz 03-23-2015 07:12 PM

I might be in the minority but id like to see high school aged Vernon Fenwick and Bern Thompson.

I get the feeling he was going to join the Mutanimals had Murphy not decided to kill them off. The Man Ray/Merdude mini seemed like an easy way to introduce Merdude to them and he probably would have eventually joined.

Its also like how I feel that Slash was going to become a Mutanimal too, no surprise he was killed off with them.

Powder 03-23-2015 07:18 PM

He, Slash, & Ninjara will always be Mutanimals to me. :trazz: Kinda like how Cappadonna isn't a Wutang Clan member but might as well be. :tlol:

Even though Karai is mutant, It be nice to see an actual proper female mutant on the show, So any of those characters I listed would be a good edition.

Powder 03-23-2015 07:34 PM

Fair enough, I guess. We need more female mutants in the vein of Karai's serpent form, in that they're not overly feminized, design-wise. I'm here bringing up yiff bait, but when you think about it, they're really all there is. It's not like there are female mutants who don't have heavy lashes & large busts, for the most part. Frustrating.

Lol, Slash and Ninjara are Cappadonna and Killah Priest.

I guess that makes Jagwar RZA, Ray Fillet GZA, Wingnut Ol Dirty, and you should totally draw this somehow :tlol:

Orochi 03-23-2015 10:35 PM

Neutrinos do exist in this canon. They're mentioned in the video game Danger of the Ooze that's meant to take place between season 2 and 3. So I'm sure we'll see them at some point. Honestly, I hope Hun stays unmutated as his Bruce Lee form is awesome. I personally think having Tokka be a mutated Raphael could work, with this mind serum Shredder created, I'd like to see Raph get a secondary (temporary) mutation to turn him into Tokka for an episode or two.

Ashwolf 03-23-2015 11:59 PM

angel should be brought in, also would be cool if the tribunal existed in this version

that would be kinda sweet but then again, im hoping 4 that 2 happen 2 1 of them at some point

We could use some female mutants that are feminized since we don't have any.

I hope Hun stays human as well, though I wouldn't mind if they mutated Shredder before the finished him once and for all.

So the Neutrinos were mentioned in the game, but what did they say about them?

Far as I'm aware, Leatherhead mentions something about them being trapped by the Kraang. You don't see them at all, this it's mostly just a nod to the fanbase.

I admire your dedication to every possible TMNT incarnation, but... :teek:

LivingMutagen 03-24-2015 02:34 PM

Keno from TMNT 2. Best pizza delivery guy from TMNT, joined with Woody from IDW.

Really though, we need to see some Triceratons, the Neutrinos and Bishop.
EDIT: Chameleon, who appeared in the Archie comics for a few issues, would be interesting to see as well.

CyberCubed 03-24-2015 03:53 PM

I wonder if Groundchuck and Dirtbag will ever be used again.

Pbfffffff Hahahahaha. Im sorry i couldnt say that with a straight face. I was just playing. That character was dumb and unnecessary. They literally couldve used Baxter and it wouldve been a cm better.

neatoman 03-27-2015 08:08 AM

Garbageman:P

CyberCubed 03-27-2015 10:59 AM

I'm honestly surprised that Muckman is coming back, especially since he was only ever in 1 episode of the original toon and I never thought he was a popular or well known character. At least Mutagen Man had his toy which people loved, I don't remember the muckman toy being that popular.

Orochi 03-27-2015 11:07 AM

I'd love to see Panda Khan finally appear, due to how he wasn't in the original toon due to creative differences. Given that he's probably not been a major player in comics for years, it's probably easier than ever to negotiate.

Which inspires me to suggest The Tick. Done right that could work really well.

That could really work. We could start seeing old school indie comic characters have cameos like we had in Fred Wolf. I know that Stan Sakai had a falling out with Eastman and Laird, but if he changes his mind. I'd love seeing Usagi turn up. Wasn't originally The Flaming Carrot meant to have an episode? Or was that some rumour. I'd dig Savage Dragon turning up too, albeit a more sanitised version with less cursing and violence.

Where the hell are you getting this from? It couldn't be more false. He & Pete are still good friends. That's why he hasn't let Usagi return. TMNT without Pete doesn't feel right to him, it would seem. He incorporated his character because it was a matter of two chums blending their efforts, whereas now he'd be lending his baby to a big corporate entity, which he's not secure with. Granted I think Ciro & the guys would probably do the character justice, I can understand his position.

Thanks for clarifying, I hadn't a clue they were friendly, I heard it from various people online and read it in a thread or two here. It's good to hear Stan is friends with Pete still, I'm really hoping Stan does change his mind and allow it, but given that comic is probably his most well known work, he has every right to keep it out of Nick's hands if he so pleases.

The original article died and there doesn't seem to be an archive, but you can see the text quoted verbatim here:

Although this is a complete reboot of the franchise, there will be plenty of throw-backs to supporting cast such as Leatherhead & The Rat King (confirmed) and even classic crossovers such as The Flaming Carrot (for those of us hardcore fans who grew up on the TMNT).
Sadly this far out into the series with no word, it might've gotten shelved like every other big FC thing that I've heard about in the last decade.
