It's a set up so that Mikey can grill Vern about who the new "hot chick" is and be adamant that he's SO sure her boobs look familiar from somewhere... possibly from a billboard two years prior.


Or is she secretly replacing Megan Fox. I'm not sure how I'd know how to take that.

Kind of annoying that they'd add an extra unnecessary paycheck for a model who's a girlfriend for...Vern. Why not spend that cash on, I dunno, the Turtles?

Including a scene of her in booty shorts, a midriff-exposing tank top and a flipped-up hockey mask , posing seductively with a hockey stick. Add a few more boner jokes for Mikey and call it a day.

Why do they cast models in movies anyway? How about, you know, actors?

Don't be silly... women capable of acting were forced to actually develop those skills because they lack the physical requirements for a Bay film, which isn't going to work. Homogeneous to having to develop a personality in order to make up for flaws.

I reckon this will end up like Rita Ora when she got a part in 50 Shades, it got hyped up so much and in the end she was only in the movie for a minute.

Because the lack of T&A in Ninja Turtles was always holding the franchise back. Thank god Bay's here to set it all right. People don't want to go to a Ninja Turtles movie to see Ninja Turtles, after all - they want to see basketball games and supermodels and car chases!

After the way he was treated, do you blame him? The previous TMNT movie is everything wrong with todays movies. Taking a once popular entity, put some flash and bang and make a quick buck. Yeah, the movie may have made money, but the movie itself seriously lacks in integrity and quality. Says alot about todays society, the ones who would rather blow all their money on some fancy car to impress the girl next door instead of saving and buying the house to build a foundation. Bling over substance.

I remember reading something about that, They didn't use any of Danny Woodburn's motion capture data., But they did had someone doing the martial arts for Splinter.

Alessandra is actually one of my favorite Victoria's Secret models, but she has an extremely thick Brazilian accent and is really hard to understand. I can't imagine her having too many lines even if she can act. (She sure can strut!)

That being said, I don't think anyone has high hopes for this movie. Let's just get some actual nice fight scenes instead of blurry, cluster****ish crap that was in the first one. I'd rather it NOT fail, because even if I don't like them, they somehow make good money for TMNT and can fund all the other stuff I do like.

Maybe I would like these movies more if we actually got to see some boobs instead of 13 year-old jerkbait.

Good luck with that. Bay might otherwise be all for it, but he and his lot are still of the clueless mindset that TMNT is just "a kid's thing."

Maybe they'll just dub her over with a mismatched voice actor. Betty White might be a nice fit.

At this point, they've repeatedly said they're interested in having Casey Jones BUT they haven't confirmed it like they have Bebop & Rocksteady. Plus we can already see that Vern isn't going away and quite possibly has a more important role.

I'm gagging on bile as I type this, but Vern is probably gonna be Casey Jones. :trolleye:

Do we really need Casey for this film? My gut says if Casey shows up we will have a Sam/Mikayla 2.0 going on and we all know how much that can suck.
They could just save Casey for the 3rd film instead of shoehorning him into this one. I say leave Casey out as it will just take away more time with the Turtles.

Sachs
O'neill
Fenwick
The Model
Shredder
Bebop
Rocksteady
The 4 Turtles
Splinter

We might get Krang as well so adding Casey is a bit much at this point.

You might as well put the Turtles at the very bottom of the list. They'll get some shots every now and then, one big action piece with Bebop/Rocksteady, and that'll be it.

Splinter will be in it even less than he was last time. So take him out all together.

So April, Vern, Casey, Model, Sachs, Shredder, Bebop/Rocksteady...







And then all the way down here, Turtles.

Remember when the 1990 movie managed to have the Turtles and other human characters, without the Turtles getting sidelined in favor of the humans?

Good times.

Go back to suits, IMO - this CG thing just ain't working. It's clearly too expensive for them to do it on the scale that it needs to be done (ie, for the Turtles to not have to be sidelined to cut costs), and that's why we're ending up with all this extra ish.

I'm sorry, but nobody in the history of ever has been dying to see Vern get a girlfriend. Nobody cares that much about Vern, and he's not even like he is in the OT anyway. He's just some random dude that they've thrown in for comic relief and they've slapped the name Vern on him to make it fit with the title of the movie. It's a total waste of the budget even including this, and it's obvious they're just stuffing in padding in an attempt to disguise the fact that the vast majority of Turtle-time is going to be in action sequences.

No wonder when they treated him like crap.
