2012 Shredder vs 2003 Utrom Shredder.
 

Who is stronger?

There were three characters aside from Karai calling themselves the Shredder throughout the 4Kids series.

An alien in a mechanical suit, a demon king and a robot that could travel through cyberspace, what do you think would happen if any of them fought a mere burn victim who is blind on one eye?

Utrom Shredder, if for the centuries of experience and nothing else.

Ch'rell easily is strongest Shredder there is.

Ch'rell was awesome. He nearly destroyed the multiverse and was willing to take himself with it! You can't get more evil than that.

Ch'rell wins easily, no questions asked.

The mere burn victim defeated a mutant rhino and alligator.

I'd say Nick Shredder have a very good chance in a 1v1 against Ch'rell.

Not really. Nick Shredder looks strong in the context of this show against the Nick Turtles, but against 4kids Shredder he would get beaten rather quickly.

He'd probably put up a good fight before going down though.

But I would say Nick Shredder. He singlehandedly owned the Turtles in their first encounter, while Ch'rell used his Foot ninjas and the sword of Tengu to massive effect. Hell I think Leo could have beaten Shredder on his own.
That is of course if he uses his original exo-suit. If he uses that one from SAINW or the one from Exodus then yeah Nick Shredder has no chance.

...Until it gets messy. I wouldn't want to be splattered by the loser's blood or anything. I'm also pretty sure limbs would be lost as well... eugh.

This is a really tricky question. I mean, first of all, we should discover who of the three Shredders from the 2003's series was the worst; which it could have been resolved if they didn't have cancelled the series before the arc of the "Shredders' War". The Utrom Shredder gains most of points, since he almost destroyed the multiverse; but even with his suit copied from 80's Kraang, it's not clear that he's the most powerful Shredder. The Demon Shredder was really difficult to defeat, and the Cyber Shredder (a simple "back-up" of the Utrom's one) wasn't weak at all either.

I think that, if these three Shredders fight each other, they could surely destroy each other. Well, although the Demon Shredder, being dead already, could have a advantage here. But even so, if the turtles would make the mistake of interfering, I bet the Shredders could merge into one "Super-Shredder" by the shared hatred to the turtles. (It gives me the creeps just to imagine it).

Sure, the current human Shredder has a very low level of "power" when we compare him with the 2003's Shredders, but I don't think that would make him easy to defeat at all.

2k12 shredder he whooped the turtles in their first outing in Season one he beat the crap out of Leatherhead in the end of Season 2. 2k12 shredder kicks the crap out of Bebop & Rocksteady when they threaten not to work for him. I do agree 2k12 Shredder needs to do more than just sit on his ass in his throne room.

That was the one aspect of 2003 I never liked Shredder being an Utrom.

I just realized something:
The 2012 Shredder is human. This means that if you drop a water tower on top of him, throw him off of a building, and then drop the water tower on top of him again, he'll probably stay dead. He also gives too much slack to his lackeys. I mean, he threatens, but...

Anyways, each of the 2003 Shredders seemed like unstoppable forces due to how persistent and deadly they were. The Utrom Shredder is fluent in his people's technology, which is also pretty dangerous. The Shredders from this world are so amazing and destructive that it's really worth celebrating when you off them. With the 2012 Shredder... well, he's human. Just human. In a world full of mutants and aliens, it's a wonder that survived for this long, especially with those burns.

All in all, my vote would be for the 2003 version, the one that still scares the poop out of me. (I honestly wish 2012 Shredder could be more terrifying. It'd really add to the watching experience!) Anyways, that's my spheal. If you think 2012 Shredder would win, good for you. I won't stop your opinion. ImmaAxolotl out!

Meh don't care for Nick Shredder that much. After a Megalomaniac who build doomsday devices every Tuesday. to a Small brain who has no problem committing genocide to several planets and the multiverse. A burn victim human with a grudge just bores me. At least Mirage Shredder is a victim of circumstance and its quite sad how he was manipulated by the foot at a young age.

And The same with IDW who felt betrayed by his father and doesn't realize Kitsune is using him for her own selfish gain. I can get behind them, Nick Shredder not so much. Some brought up the Beat the Turtles on their first fight but power scaling has always been an issue in this show.

Maybe my memory is just weird and dumb but I can't remember any particularly good Shredder victories in Nick. He seems to mostly stand around yelling at subordinates and not doing anything. I can however remember fights that Ch'rell was losing that made me still think he was pretty tough, like when he doesn't even have a suit anymore, just a nude Utrom, and he's STILL FIGHTING.

This thread has made me think that the 2k3 TMNT could probably beat the hell out of Nick Shredder.

i'd put my money (if i had any) on Utrom Shredder.

it wouldn't even be close. Anyone of the shredders would have murdered 2012 shredder. Karai, Demon, and utrom.

utrom is better, coz human shredder just too predictable, n shredder's daughter = splinter's daughter--too predictable.

But the Nick Shredder is classified as the Most Dangerous Shredder we've had to date. Part of that has to do with how insane he is.


OT Shredder was an oaf who just wanted to take over the world. No reason behind it, he just wanted to rule the world. Though in one episode he did say he had originally wanted to be a writer. (Funny you would think that would be an easier job prospect.)

2k3 Shredder was an Utrom psychopath who wanted to concur the universe. Yes there were episodes he'd focus on destroying the Turtles and nothing but. But as the series progressed it became more focusing on the goal at hand and if the Turtles showed up and interfered they were to be captured and dealt with ASAP.

it just lacks of surprise in the version of human shredder n niwa karai.
