Really hope this really was about periods...


Random period fact I read the other day: other than various fellow primates, the only other animals known to have true periods the way humans do are some types of bats (such as the short-tailed fruit bat) and the elephant shrew. Could it be anymore random. (Others supposedly reabsorb it instead... been complaining for years wondering why we couldn't evolve that way.)


Now I feel bad for bats... fruit bats with their little fruit bat menstrual cramps. They're not rabid, they're just PMSing.

I actually have a good question about PMS. Do women have a hard time bathing during their menstrual cycle? I used to have a really bad case of jock itch and getting my groin wet used to hurt like hell sometimes.

Well, I can only speak for myself, but the only external symptoms are just, well, the mess to deal with and maybe a little chafing. Bathing is not an issue.

I imagine a case of jock itch may feel more similar to a yeast infection.

That is strange. I mean I don't exactly pay the closest attention, but how often does he usually post, anyway? I confess to not checking everywhere all the time. Is he a "pop up once in a while" kind of guy in general?

I mean, I hope he's okay. But I randomly disappear for weeks, months, and sometimes years, so I'unno. Hopefully he just had a bad day and needed a break.
