Should the turtles do a musical/sing in the movie?
It's a fact that the boys play music. Like Mikey said to Raph in the first movie: "How we're gonna finish our Hip Hop christmas album, bro? You're the hype man!"
The others are probably like this:
How's about that? :D And something I came up with for the lolz, their rap album could be like (inspired by Nicki Minaj's Anaconda): Quote:

You must have amnesia to Mikey's attempt to sing at the end of the first. (Though I can understand as it was bad enough for the mind to forcibly block out the memory.)
Mother of god NO. Fooling around as a spot of humor is one thing. For real however - NO. Also, I can only speak for me, but I'd personally rather not have a repeat of that "Shell Shocked" nonsense. If that is all rap is capable of being anymore, then it's time for the Turtles to move on from it and try something else. (And no crying about them having to have rap for some reason, else I will do it, I will pull that "nostalgia glasses" card if I must.) |
hahahaha thanks for the laugh.

...God I hate the world.

Shell Shocked is amazing. :tlove: Quote:

actually yea go ahead do it, let it bring the franchise down so it can be rebuilt |

Some definite illusions of grandeur being applied to this film. (Also I have to object, Shell Shocked was terrible other than the hook.) Edit: Just wait it out... Nick wants to put Spongebob on Broadway. Goodness knows they'll prob do it to TMNT someday. |

The terrible human inside of me want to hear Megan Fox mangle April's Ballad.

Every time you say anything I want to pull a Jay and Silent Bob Strike Back and come to your goddamn house.
I swear to god if I ever managed to get the Camel Clutch on you, even the Jaws of Life would be useless. |
My, my. Whatever have I done to you?

Huzzah: Not you, Sharkie.
Although Camel Clutches are free until Thursday if you wanna sign up. :tcool: |
I'm morally opposed, besides I'm trained as a distance, or worst case scenario, close quarters armed combat. Haha
|
Pssssssshhhh as if there's any defense for the Camel Clutch.
When Iron Sheik was bodyguard for the Shah, untold hundreds of Jabronis met their death in that very hold. Some, were Hollywood blonde Jabroni like the Hulk Hogan... others were cheeseburger fatass like the Brian Blair... but ALL, were made Humble, Percent 1000, baba. That is why Sheik is The Legend, and we all show the Respect, and Respect to the Camel Clutch. In Sheik's name we say, 'F*** the Verne Gagne," and have a good day. :tgrin: |
I often lose your references, but vaguely remember Iron Shiek.
Give me Sgt Slaughter, but mostly because he was a a Joe, lol. Though combat was really never as fun as the show presented it, and bullets*are far more effective than lasers. |
The thing about Sarge, is he's huuuuuuge in real life. But he speaks very softly. That was weird to find out. Dude's got big hands.
Sheik is Sheik 24/7. You don't have a name when you're with Sheik, your name is "Jabroni C***sucker" or some slight variation of same. And he whips beer bottles at people, sometimes full. I love that guy. I'm not suggesting I spend any more time with him than I do or have, but it's kind of fun to see the train wreck up close on occasion. It's odd that the real-life G.I. Joe with the booming voice is a giant teddy bear and the lunatic with the Persian Clubs is actually 50% more insane in real life. That's one of those things where you kinda wish the reverse was true. |
Teddy Roosevelt philosophy, speak softly but carry a big stick.
|
SharkBlade, I got nothing against you, but please don't ever suggest something this stupid ever. A musical? (Yes, I did a face palm remembering Common Out of Our Shells)

Imagine: they're relaxing in the lair after their battle, eating pizza and started rapping and playing musical instruments, Mikey break dancing a bit, April and Casey dancing with them, just chilling and having fun. Good times. They established that they sing, even making an album. Why not show us the goods? Show us what they're made of! :tgrin: |
Eh, why not. *shrugs* Make it a musical - it's not like it could get any worse. A perverse part of me wants to see the awful-meter dialed up to 100 just to see whether Bayfans will still defend it, or will finally admit that the emperor has no clothes. :tlol:

And all it took was for the Foot clan to look like actually Foot Ninjas. Cheap dates. |
Only if every song is written and performed by Rick Astley. No exceptions.
|
I just can´t imagine Raph singing :ohwell:
It would feel like the weird moment in Hellboy 2 when Hellboy and Abraham are singing to I can´t smile without you. |
Should the turtles do a musical/sing in the movie?
NO. |
SharkBlade, I've always given you the benefit of the doubt. Until now.
I dub thee, Politest Troll of the Technodrome. Fare thee well and go in peace, until we meet again. |
|
Yes. This should happen.
And I'm totally not agreeing to this because I want these movies to crash and burn in the most spectacular way possible. Nope. Totally not that at all. Never. |

Just make it 'a thing' with Mikey at the end of each movie where he likes to make the audiences' ears bleed. Have him start off and try to get the others to jump in. But the other three just look at him like "you've got to be kidding me, I'm outta here." Meditation. Project. And what ever Raph feels like doing that isn't that. |
no way my friend, No Way...:D

If it's Rap, it would have to be Old Skool - as in GM Flash or Rocksteady Crew - 'cause if they do 50 Cen' or Lil' Kim, say bye-bye PG rating.
If they have a band (with actual instruments they actually play), the drummer's usually the party animal, so that would be Mikey. Bass players tend to be on the quiet, artsy side of things, let's give Donnie that job. Singers/rhythm guitarists are usually the tallest & best looking but least musically talented of the bunch, while lead guitarists tend to be the most musically gifted and involved. I guess Leo and Raph can bicker - as usual - over who's who....... |

For totally legit reasons also as well. |
Why would a less than a minute fun music segment crash and burn a movie. ._."
I mean seriously... let's all chill and smell the pizza. Enjoy life. |

I totally LOL'ed at that! :tlol: Quote:
So did I..... Quote:
That would be hilarious. Although.... They DID do that beat-box thing in the elevator, and the extended version of that scene had them all getting pretty heavily into it. Sure, why not, I'd love to see something like that again- but maybe with instruments this time, in the lair? They did have that jam area in the last movie- that we never got to really see. |
I have no idea if this would work or not. I wouldn't mind maybe something like the Turtles cleaning the lair or training in the morning to some actualy good music. Maybe April could have a thing where she's lip singing to a song, kind of like what happened in the beginning of Adventures in Babysitting.

Short answer: No.
Long answer: Hell. No. |
