How many wish Xever to get a second mutation?

Personally I do, because I feel like he was much of a threat when he was human. But now that the turtles have gotten better his human form may not work. I believe he is too weak compared to the others, Donnatello knocked him out with a ball of trash in " the Pulverizer ". What do you think?

senpai 06-29-2015 11:02 AM

I personally like his character design. I also wouldn't mind if they decided to change him up a bit. But I don't think that's possible with mutagen lol Bradford went from buff poochie to skeletal wolf beast!

I am okay with fishface's character design, but I was talking more of his fighting abilities. And to be honest I like rhazar better than dogpound both in terms of abilities and design. I really would not mind if Fishface turned out like rhazar, as long as he gets better in abilities.

Metalwolf 06-29-2015 02:53 PM

I like his current design, but if anything I actually wish he'd get demutated. While he might appear to get a bit of screen-time with a second mutation (a half-skeleton fishy would catch eyes) it wouldn't last long and he'll just end up getting returned to the background after the newness wears off, and inevitably get nerfed like Rahzar.

Demutation though would allow a lot more possibilities, he could become a loosely aligned but valuable human ally to the Turtles (especially with him knowing some of Shredder's habits) or he could join with the Purple Dragons or Bishop (if they have him.) If he went with Bishop, I could see him turning on Tigerclaw and Rahzar, something that could be fun since I know he does not like those two.

Other then that, I can't help but be against double mutation because after Rahzar, it would feel like it's turning into a cheap gimmick to generate extra toy figures, which wouldn't make the quality of the show feel any better.

BubblyShell22 06-29-2015 03:33 PM

Nah, I don't want Xever to get double mutated. I'd rather he get demutated and then turn on Shredder.

yeah, you are probably right about him turning out like rhazar and getting less screen time, however I do not think that he would be much of a threat as I said before. the turtles and their other enemies have gotten better. Tiger claw is really good and I believe rhazar is better than human Chris bradford, but most people do not think so because he does not get enought screen time. So either way He would be too weak, that is why I believe the second mutation is the best chance if we want to see a good Xever again

Then what? He would be no match for The Shredder in his human form.

I agree will all you said. I like calling him Xever also.

Not really the point. Just because you cannot best someone, doesn't mean you should let them control you.

What do you mean? Xever is an excellent fighter, and I think he could take it to Shredder if he wanted to.

VaughnMichael 06-30-2015 07:52 AM

I could see him being turned into Armaggon.

BubblyShell22 06-30-2015 08:08 AM

Well, they did say Armaggon is coming, so it could be possible that Xever will get double mutated unless they make him a separate character.

Groverman62 06-30-2015 08:25 AM

No I like Xever as an original character. I think that the show's crew stated in a interview that they wont double mutate him so I am gratful for that.

BubblyShell22 06-30-2015 08:39 AM

They did? That's great! And I agree that Xever should be his own character.

VaughnMichael 06-30-2015 09:00 AM

Personally I want him to get demutated.
I'd love for the TMNT to meet Armaggon in the future.
That's one Archie comic story that really needs to get animated.

That's great! I like Xever as an original character too, so this is awesome news. :D

Edit: ^^^ I agree. I think he's one of the few guys who I hope get demutated, so he escapes the approaching poo-storm that I know is coming for the rest of the bad guys.

Xever turning human wouldn't change anything. Shredder would still control him. Xever lost against 2 turtles when he was human, Shredder can take on all 4 of them, therefore he cannot match the shredder.

BubblyShell22 06-30-2015 03:12 PM

Not if Xever defects from Shredder and goes rogue. He could ally himself with the Purple Dragons or just go off on his own, and then Shredder couldn't tell him what to do.

Have you seen Shredder fight? He is the leader of the foot clan, he is in the same league as Splinter. And I'm certain you don't mean that Xever could beat Splinter. It's simple. It's just a fight he can not win, although he has a chance if he gets double mutated.

Cryomancer 06-30-2015 03:18 PM

I liked him and Bradford more as human characters, demutate them both if you ask me. Especially since they brought in Bebop and Rocksteady anyway.

I wish he could get a little taller. Fishface is too short.

When did they say that? Because I am really hoping for the second mutation.
And I don't think they would make Armaggon a separate xharacter. Why would we have two fish-like mutants?

Yes, but Xever is a good fighter too as we have seen. I doubt he'd be able to actually beat Shredder, but I was just saying that he could still fight him and fight well even if he doesn't come out on top.

My mistake. I misunderstood you, I thought you said he could beat shredder.

I agree that he would put a fight though.

They never said that they just said he won't double mutate into Tokka.

Splinter the boss 06-30-2015 04:57 PM

That gives some hope to those who want to see a new and improved Xever.

GoldMutant 06-30-2015 05:17 PM

I'm honestly not interested in seeing Xever double mutate. I mean, it feels a little predictable ever since Bradford went from Dogpound to Rahzar. Even then, the Turtles are going to get stronger just like in the context of the show, which makes Baxter, Bradford, and Xever extremely weak. Steranko, Zeck, and Tiger Claw are the only henchmutants to give them a run for their money outside Shredder himself.

Like everyone is saying, I honestly want him to go back to a human life. Xever is a very intriguing character and I think he needs more exploring, same for the other villains too. Otherwise, they're all too meh in motivations. I say he is the first mutant villain going back to human and turning into an anti-hero, doing things for himself.

It is cool

GoldMutant 06-30-2015 05:37 PM

Exactly mate. :)

I know a lot of people want Armaggon to debut for Xever's second mutation, but I'd personally be interested in another animal, a scorpion is what I want if we don't see another known character.

I at least want to see some kind of gang war down the line (Steranko and the Russians, Hun and the Purple Dragons, and Xever finally bringing up a gang like mentioned). I'd be interested in seeing Xever rise as a criminal warlord if that can be done. Now I'm just getting off topic though, either a scorpion or an animal from the South for Xever would be fitting if it's mot Armaggon.

But I thought you said you weren't siding with Xever getting double mutated. Or am I mistaken ?

Oh, I'm against him double mutating yes. I don't think mutating characters into established foes always works or judging them based on powers. There's more to it with characterization.

However, if he does double mutate, I'm hoping for a scorpion if Armaggon isn't used.

I want him back to normal for the most part, but I am curious on what he'll be if double mutated.

Wait, how will he mutate into a scorpion? He's a fish. Will he touch a scorpion or something?

I don't know how he'd mutate into a scorpion, but I'd honestly love a mutant of that animal is all.

syk_skillz 07-01-2015 09:11 PM

I'd want him to turn into Armaggon

Gunpowder 07-01-2015 09:49 PM

*raises hand* I mean, I'm cool with him staying as Fishface, but wouldn't mind seeing him go the route of his colleague either. And on that note, why not turn him into Tokka? Bradford turned into a dog first and then a wolf, which is a lineup that makes sense; Xever changing into one sea creature (Fishface) and then another sea creature (Tokka) would also make sense. His partner's already Rahzar, and the opportunity's there, so why not make it happen? Too predictable, maybe? I dunno.

But come on. Shredder having all 4 of his classic henchmen (Bebop, Rocksteady, Tokka, Rahzar)? Who doesn't want that?

I'd actually be cool with that.

They hinted at Tokka during last years SDCC but confirmed Tokka wasn't Fish Face double mutated.

Amaranthus 07-03-2015 09:17 AM

I think Tokka will be either Hun or Don Vizioso.
