I will be posting episodes in the following newsgroup on usenet:

alt.binaries.multimedia.cartoons

I recommend Newsbin to download them. If you cannot figure it out, ask and I will be happy to help.

I will upload the first 5 episodes now and more later.

It will take a long time as I have very little upstream bandwidth, be patient.

I will use WinRAR to segment the files which are very good quality RealVideo. I will make parity archives and upload them as well. Do a google search on "parchive" to learn how to use these instead of reposts.

Just out of morbid curiosity, where did you get these real video eps?

If you mind them being distributed, I won't post them. I probably should have checked with you first, but I just wanted to spread episodes without having to resort to IRC.

Many ISP's have usenet servers included, so it would be free. You should ask yours, many times they don't include their news server in the documentation that they give you.

what episodes are they? I can't find the newsgroup, and my outlook express isn't working right...

i used to use DAP but it got annoying when playing games on shockwave nonetheless it's a very useful program (u can use it to download struff from practically anywhere!).

Yeah i used to use it too...it was pretty useful...specially when i had a modem.then i got adsl...and switched to massdownloader...and switched to flashget...and then realized i didn't really need one :P

it didn't make much of a difference. i got dsl too. the only difference is that u got to see the numbers move around more (the download speed)and that u can resume downloads, except i didn't really need that feature.

yes i know...that's why i stopped using them...
while i had modem it was useful because i could resume downloads and it'd speed up a bit...now i don't really need those features :\

yeah i never downloaded anything b4, but now i got cable, and i must have downloaded like 300 episodes of misc cartoons in like 2 weeks
and now i had to reformat my hard drive b/c of the virus... I lost em all!!!

yeah it wasn't working right, i had norton anti vrius protect, and it would enable, i think it's because i have xp, but it's alright, most of the eps were burned to cd's and the others were just like tom and jerry and stuff i can watch on cartoon network if i wanted to.
yeah the only tmnt i lost were 2 anime episodes
doh shoulda burned those right away
i'll just have to find em again

what type of program do you use to burn video clips into cds? could Burn and Go work?

are there any eps on the dalnet stuff or Gnutella/Limewire network?

ohh yep, i've been called lotsa names, the last one i remember was nickopoko :D
there are eps on the fasttrack network (kazaa, limewire(?), morpheus, grokster) and i bet there are some in gnutella too!
I use nero to burn them in cds...there are people that convert the AVI files into MPEG files and then burn them to VCD (that's because most of the dvd players have VCD support, so you could watch your vcds in a dvd player) but i don't do that because every ep converted to MPEG would be 200 MB and quality would be the same...but i use a card with TV-OUT to watch my AVIs on tv..

Never heard of limewire? It runs the gnutella but makes it simpiler and faster for all of us that get confused in irc chat rooms :lol:

hmmm...but i already tried p2p, and noone shared, it will take way too much time till i get all of my files shared, and most of them are on cd anyways =|
but perhaps i could leave some of my favorite episodes sharing while im sleeping :sleep:
