New Episode Discussion: "the Monster Hunter'
 

Salutations!

*evil chuckle* Yes, It is I, bringing you another New ep discussion. At least its not the week before, right? :embarass:

This week...

Yep, the boys have a serious case of cabin fever. Trips out into the forests have resulted in a scientist called "the monster hunter" coming into the woods, searching for a strange legendary green monster thats been sighted in the woods. Mike, Don and Casey plan to have a lil fun with the good doctor. Heh, I bet Splinter's REAL happy with the boys now... ;)

Leonardo forges his new swords and new beginnings with the Help of Raphael. Possible character development? Nahhh.... :rolling:

Uh..heh, okay, there IS a strange green monster in the woods. Hmm. Well, let's see if the guys can manage this mess... :D

Kinda crappy episode if you ask me. Next week will prolly be interesting tho.

ya, this episode wasnt so hot. Though leo getting his swords is always awsome :D. I just wish they showed us more of him making em.

but that hunter man/woman @_@ scary stuff...

That blooper was funny... :D reminded me of the interview for Mike's voice actor. He mentioned not being able to belch on command... :D

This was...interesting. Surprised my when I heard the female voice from the hunter, but then again, maybe Aussie women are like that... ;)


The one truly reedeeming aspect of this, was Leo and Raph. In the little time they showed, I could ssee some character development. I felt so bad for Leo when he was all wrapped up and barely able to use his arm... :(

Then Raph came in, and helped him out... for once, I can say, "Raph was so nice"... :P

i liked it. I liked caseys goongala. the monster hunter was annoying as all hell. The monster looked like a huge sloth

was that a guy or a girl?

I was acutally wondering that. I'd have to see it again to tell for sure though.

I thought this was a great episode...i didnt like the opening nararation but the rest of the episode after the first comercial was pretty good i think.

i liked the opening narreration because its like a skit on mr. show. Thats the funniest show.

I think it was a pretty good episode... not much you can do with the TMNT is the middle of nowhere. At least we know for certain that next week's episode will be good. Unless I'm mistaken, it starts the return to New York storyline.

Meh, I agree with what most people ave said, not a great episode... I too was confused about the Monster hnter being a woman. I think there was a little irony in there becase both monster and monster hunter were females but looked like males :P

I wanted to see more of leo making his swords, oh well. I liked how April called Casey a village idiot and Mikey's eating pistachio nuts :lol:

I didn't see those bloopers, I missed that :|

At the very end when the turtles decide to go back to New York, it seemed squezed in, I think that wasn't too well done...

right there at the end, it seemed to cut out so quickly it sounded like leo was cut off.

I think what they did wrong was they tried to put too much critical information in more of a filler episode. They should of focused a bit more on leo and raph and less on the monster hunter.

im suprised there going back after only two episodes.

It seemed like they were only there for a few days... *shrug* I thought Leo'd need more time to heal, unless its that superhealing theng from the mutation.. :P

Did anyone else think that Casey's eyes looked like the old Shredder's when he was caught with a net?

can't say I noticed that, but I think that the gender of the monster hunter will be something to be debated for years to come :lol:

Sup all, I'm new here. This topic made me sign up to chat on these forums... Anyhow, I actually loved this episode. It had (for once,) some very good humor, and the narative by Mikey was pretty funny (BOOGA BOOGA.) :lol:

And being a screenwriter, they (the Turtles) coulda actually revealed themselves to the Monster Hunter to set up further episodes where she would want revenge for messing up her chances for a network show.

Bottom line, I thought it was a good episode. To tell the truth, we need more filler episodes that introduce more characters.

well the monster hunter knows casey and april. so she could want revenge on them. Id rather see the garbage man again. Abigail is so annoying

so far it is pretty silly episode.

not that great an episode. they did spend too much time on the monster part, instead of focusing on raph and leo. i wanted to see them forge the swords more :(

the turtle bloopers were awesome. i just saw one that had shredder about to destroy mikey, when his cell phone rings. he drops mikey and he's told by his mother to bring home milk, eggs etc. it was hilarious :lol: and he said "i love you mother" in his gruff viscous voice :lol:

and has anybody seen the preview yet? they haven't shown it. i'm waiting for it (watching cramp twins and funky cops) but it hasn't aired yet :x

i want a preview for RTNY :evilgrin:

the turtle blooper that i saw is two foot ninjas burping.

I liked this episode. I was by far my favorite filler so far. As for Abigail Finn, I think shes a lesbian.

it was much better than some of the other filler episodes.

Gotta be honest here: it wasn't my favorite episode so far. Though, there were a few redeeming moments...

Abigail Finn- kinda... surprised me the first time, uh, she talked. I'm not quite sure what to make of her yet.

Turtle Bloopers - I only saw three of them. I really want to see the one with Shredder and the cell phone. I'm hoping they'll be on the DVDs. *crosses fingers*

Abigail reminded a little bit of this one female wrestler that used to be on the WWF(E), that was known by the nickname 'Chyna'. I'm sure Leo656 knows who I'm talking about...

Overall, a decent filler episode. Hmm, I wonder if _I_ could make katanas out of scrap metal?? :wink:

I liked it, especially the part with the monster having babies- "AWWWWW!"
I loved the part with Mike freeing Casey. "Goongala?"

I liked this episode. The parts with the Raph/Leo showed there brotherly love, and Mikey was hilarious as always. Gotta love how he got freaked by Don sneaking up behind him.

Oh, and Abigail is just a buff woman. Creepy looking, but still a woman.

I like this episode too. It had alot of BigFoot references. I'm not sure if I can call it a filler because Raph was helping him making new katanas.

Abigail Fin, I thought it was a man in the preview. But she's like one of those Musclear Women from Northern Europe. They say though women don't shave their air pits :o .

I like the part when April is getting mad at Casey for walking in with dirty feet.

I really like the Parker charater. I would give him best worth-less lackey award. His Australian accent and dirty work for Fin.

It gave me one of those weird thoughts of the made up monster in up real. The creature is like a Cousin of Big Foot with Green Fur. The technology was quite different compare to stockman's work.

And I like the part where Casey was in the cage with the monster get-up.

Atleast now the Green Creature can live in peace.

I give it 4 1/2 out of 5 stars for good episode.

I loved the way that Donnie kept on sneaking up on Mikey.

Mikey and Donny were being funny the entire episode when they were together. Raph and Leo were showing their brothery relationship. I wonder what caused the bandages to fall off.

It was meant to be like a symbolism really. Leo was still mending when he finally felt well enough that he didn't need them.
