Is it still up? Or did it get taken down

Vicky82 09-14-2015 11:14 AM

I assume it's still up, people still talking about it on Tumblr.

yellowmario27 09-14-2015 11:15 AM

victory_angel 09-14-2015 11:29 AM

I'm unable to watch it, since it has the premium subscriber lock on the video. So anyone who sees it please keep any talk of this episode in spoiler tabs until next Sunday.

Wouldn't it be easier if people who didn't want to be spoiled not visit this thread?

Arg. In that case it will be the same for me since they aren't friendly with my cable people. (Not that I wouldn't have waited for it to air on tv first anyhow.)

Works for me, but hope people keep spoilers in this section.

Vicky82 09-14-2015 12:50 PM

It's up on a different site, i'm watching it now :D

Vicky82 09-14-2015 01:14 PM

He did back in the other cartoon as well, nothing new here.

Well that was different, he killed himself to save the turtles.

Spoiler:
Raph was helping him and tried to give him a hand but he didn't take it and he just let go of the edge

Haalix 09-14-2015 01:38 PM

Spoiler:
Lion King reference when Zog fell down...
Kinda sad he died though, but figuring he died in the 2k3 series, it wasn't very surprising. Just the way he died.

Any one else thinks Crognard dying wasn't a forshadowing for Zog, but for someone else in the TMNT season 3 Finale?

And are spoiler tags really necessary? This is the ep. discussion thread after all. Spoilers are to be expected.

Mew 09-14-2015 01:40 PM

Can't wait! :D:D:D

Vicky82 09-14-2015 01:41 PM

The Crognard death is foreshadowing in the season final.

Found a disturbing moment

Looks like I need to wait, I can't get in. :ohwell:

Might as well ask because I brought it up yesterday, but how well does Raph fair in this episode?

:o:o

I dont know if they are expecting a wedding, or even a child, I prefer not to think about it xD But reading this I remembered those people who were mad because Apritello was "bestiality" xD If the kiss of April to Donnie was, according to them, bestiality, then what is this?

CyberCubed 09-14-2015 02:49 PM

Animation looked much better in this episode, did they raise the budget?

Usually when someone says their expecting it means someone has a bun in the oven. So in other words from the look of things, BF is preggers. So well....I'm going to go throw up....about something else. (Races to the bath room)

Thanks for the aclaration, I am not american so sometimes I have speculate what is the meaning of some expressions ^^

Allio 09-14-2015 03:01 PM

been a bit since we had an episode this good, though I admit I like more the tragic tale of the original Zog more.

Powder 09-14-2015 03:15 PM

Holy shell, that was by far the best episode of the season! Wow!

Always happy to see more Mutanimals, Rockwell especially.

Clever of them to use Raph's Vision Quest outfit as a nod to his hooded attire from RTNY.

"Gotta admit, he's good with his hands!" Isn't that a line from TMNT 3 regarding the blacksmith in Japan? :tlol:

The Kraang expressing fear was hilarious. Goes to show what a true terror the Triceratons are throughout the galaxy. Yet, they seek peace? Hmm!

Loved seeing the NES joypad with Zog's gear & seeing that Leonardo hasn't lost his geekiness after all the crap he's been through.

"Venkman was here" in the Statue Of Liberty, no less! Yooooooo whattup Ghostbusters references!

Whoops, I guess the crew were never informed that the TMNT/Ghostbusters crossover was going to take place in parallel universes. Awkward... lol

Oh well. Now I can just have some fun and decide where the comic story can fall into the show continuity. :D

Vicky82 09-14-2015 03:25 PM

That Dragon in the Crognard cartoon looks like Tiamat from Dungeons and Dragons (cartoon).

The animation was amazing in this episode, especially in space, it was breathtaking.

I loved the fight on top of the Statue of Liberty.

Ninturtle 09-14-2015 04:45 PM

Anyone else wondering how the turtles will take on the triceratons since they're so strong in this version.

Deus Ex Machina.

:o:o

So will they be six fingered fat men or hairy apes?

MsMarvelDuckie 09-14-2015 06:10 PM

I hate that they lock the episodes so non-members can't view them. if people don't have cable or satellite, how do they expect us to watch it (without using illegal means, of course)?

It sucks even more when the provider you use isn't on the list, so people using comcast are screwed.

matteso586 09-14-2015 06:56 PM

I wonder if this is the episode where Mondo Gecko and Muckman get recruited into the Mighty Mutanimals. And what is the reason for the latter's recruitment? He and Joe are not even mutant animals.

Huh? Why would you think that? This is an episode about Zog the Triceraton & everyone in this thread has already discussed its contents given it was leaked today.

Why would they be recruited, though? A Triceraton invasion seems reason enough to me. They need all the help they can get. & last I checked, reptiles/humans are animals, too. Hell, there's already a reptile & primate on the team, so it's hardly a stretch at all.

TurtleTitan97 09-14-2015 07:35 PM

Hands down the best Raph episode by far. As well as one of the best of the season. Never even saw the Zog twist coming.

Only downside? That final episode of Crognard! :( Worst. Episode. Ever!

:o:o

Avoiding spoilers (so sorry if my comments are out of sync with current discussion or something) but just saw that elsewhere online...

 Just, wow. Back in the Bigfoot ep I'd tried to just assume that Bigfoot's affections for "The Finger" and wish to take care of him was more innocent than that. Guess not. o.O (Granted I guess it could be a different Bigfoot and tabloid fiction.)

Sabacooza 09-14-2015 07:57 PM

WOW! Now That's what I'm talking about! What an awesome Raph centric episode! It's too bad it took 24 episodes to get to it. Would've been nice to have a few more Raph episodes like this peppered throughout this season to balance it out. Kudos to Todd Casey. You did good man, you did good.:D

You thread-napping conniving turdlet!

...nah, this is fine. I'll sticky this too.

Muckman is not a reptile.

Technically, Bigfoot could be another subspecies of human/primate, as a opposed to a reptile, so-

*is slapped*

Ahem, I'll have to watch this sometime, cool that we get another episode that references the Mirage comics directly.

Mugen_Jin18 09-15-2015 09:28 AM

Awesome episode, Lance Henrikson is perfect for Zog! I love how this series has great actors voice the characters. I mean seriously, Lewis Black, Danny Trejo, James Hong & even Robert Englund! I really hope they keep up with this trend.

Muckman was a human. It is also plausible he has decaying animal remains as components of him.
