Today is the Birthday of Legendary voice actor Rob Paulsen. He turns 60 today. Thanks for voicing Donnie and Raph among other non turtle voices. I had the pleasure of meeting him last year. Very humble nice guy.

It's interesting how he went from voicing Raphael in the Fred Wolf series to Donatello in the Nick series almost 2 decades later. Who would ever have guessed that? Life is kinda funny sometimes.

Its always weird to see an older person in the industry have a twitter when social media sites didn't exists in the 80's and 90's. Its just so weird because in the old days there was never any way to interact with famous people, and now its so easy.

Its mind boggling. I often forget he even has a twitter.

That aside, I forgot that he was the same age as my parents.

The only social media thing I regularly use is Facebook. No Twitter or those other things I don't know anything about. Rob is way more hip than I am. lol

Social networks are important for people in the entertainment industry, not only for fan interaction but also for networking. A lot of them probably hire someone to post under their name.

I don't have a Twitter, but tell him that I said thanks for the awesome characters that he voiced, and have a great birthday.

Wow he's a spry-looking 60! I've met him a few times at NYCC and can say without a doubt he's one of the nicest and most genuine guys in the business! Here's to 60 more years!

I tweeted Rob a link to a very sweet Peter Pan themed song that I recently heard and he followed me back. Made my day!!!

I don't get how famous people have the time to follow and retweet people. Like, people can easily send them hate mail now so how do they avoid it?

The Raphael of my childhood. I could always tell when Raph wasn't voiced by Rob in certain episodes of the original cartoon. I continued to always hear his voice and pick it out of other cartoons and movies wherever I heard it. Happy Birthday Rob Paulsen!!! :tgrin:

It’s weird because I had trouble sleeping last night and I watched a movie I haven’t seen in like 25 years. It was Warlock. And in one scene there was a gas station attendant and of course the voice was distinct! Totally had no idea he was in that movie! Funny that I happened to watch that on his birthday!

If you look at the anime voice casts today or a lot of voice overs today considering most act like divas I'm thankful I don't use Twitter. Why would I want to see them overreact and accuse fans of hostility while going on ego trips? Thank goodness the FW cast come from a time where they understand how to be humble and polite people.
