What was the funniest/memorable scene out of the movies??

For me, it would have to be when Mikey gets the pizza in TMNT 1.

DarkNinja 10-04-2003 04:09 PM

I have no idea why, but quite frequently I get this voice in my head from TMNT 1 that says, "You must strike hard, then fade away... without a trace." Seriously, it comes into my head about once a day for no apparent reason. :D

Machias Banshee 10-04-2003 04:17 PM

The talk between Raphael and Splinter. Seeing father and son having a heart to heart is really nice... :goofygri:

damnhooligan 10-04-2003 04:27 PM

I remember laughing to no end as a kid as Michaelangelo pops out of the manhole and cries "Let's go for it!" after April mentions pizza in the first movie. I still smile whenever I get to that part, simply due to fond memories alone.

Dane E5R 10-04-2003 04:54 PM

Without a doubt.. The mediation/fire scene in movie #1. Classic, total classic.

Yep, the most classic moment in the movie. However, I also really like the scene right after that when they all walk up to the house, and Leo says 'Its time to go back.' Or something along those lines.

Jephael 10-04-2003 05:23 PM

I've always gotten a kick out of the part where they're fighting off all the Foot Soldiers on the rooftop and Don shoves one off the ladder and lets out a "Yeeee Haw-OH!" and nearly looses his grip.

MW8979 10-04-2003 05:35 PM

Funniest moment: When all the turtles are standing in April's apartment and talking about Raphael, as he suddenly crashes through the sun roof.

Most memorable moment: When you first see Shredder. The fact that they only show him from behind and above at first, as he enters, is fairly impressive. Plus that cool music really helps.

I would qualify that more as a irony... dead turtles arent fun

jeff the cheff 10-04-2003 06:30 PM

Oh boy i have so many from the first movie...
-In the begining when u first see raphs headband coming up from the sewer
-When raph finds his sai in the subway and grabs it..dragging it across the floor, and then runs at the foot with anger
-When it shows the foot HQ
-When April paints all the turtles
-When Donny calls Casey claustrophobic..and he says "ive never even looked at another guy before"
-When shredder makes his apperance on the rooftop landing on his feet
-When Leo says Shredder lies about splinter being dead...and shredder says "Do I"

I remember when i ate at hollywood cafe and they had memorable scenes from movies of certain themes.. like love..action..comedy...well they had martial arts and there were a bunch of ninja turtle scenes... one of the longer ones was the mikey and foot soldier nunchuck competition. It was so funny when they played this because I started yelling because I was so excited.

Taloniss 10-04-2003 06:33 PM

Funniest: Mikey's response to a question on who casey is: Wayne Gretzky...on steroids?

Memorable: Raph waking up and Leo sharing a kodak moment with him.

jeff the cheff 10-04-2003 06:36 PM

The movie was so well done...all the best parts were made so much better because of the music.

Mondo J. Gecko 10-04-2003 07:13 PM

When ever Casey and Donny argued, classic stuff right there, Like there part were there arguing about who Gillagin whould have married  ...
"Your Clostrifobic" "Hey I never even looked at another guy like that before"

Absolutely...

Soundtracks are what truly help a movie in the end. I just with i could get the soundtrack from the Splinter/Raph scene and the Fireside one... :(

Mondo J. Gecko 10-04-2003 08:30 PM

The soundtrack can Definatley make a movie, thats why I'm looking for a Bill and Ted Excellent adventure soundtrack.....

Reznorite420 10-04-2003 09:59 PM

Funniest from each movie:

- Movie 1 =
Mike: Hey Donny! Wheel of Fortune, dude! *spins on his shell*
Foot Soldier: Bisentos! NOW!
Don: Hmmmm, I guess they're not game show fans.
Mike: And I thought everybody loved Vanna!

- Movie 2 =
Raph: SHREDERRRRRRRRR!!!!!!!!
Don: Thanks, Raph! I may never have the hiccups again!

- Movie 3 =
Don: Help! I'm a turtle, and I can't get up! [tied with...]
Dont: Ugh! I think I just swallowed a frog! Hope it wasn't an ancestor...

Most memorable from each movie:

- Movie 1 = The "Tequila" dance by Mike and Don

- Movie 2 = The club scene, despite the appearance of Vanilla Ice

- Movie 3 = Tough to choose since it wasn't all that great, but I'll have to go with the opening credits scene

Sparvid 10-05-2003 05:18 AM

Funniest scene in the second (:o) movie is then Keno grabs the nunchukus (if I remember correctly) and we see Mikes hand come up, try to find them on the table, and do a motion which says "crap!" :)

AH! I nearly forgot that bit. My brother and I were so enamored with that dance that we mimicked it as best we could and performed it every time we watched the movie. Ah, to be young and stupid again! Oh, wait...

EZweasel 10-05-2003 08:55 AM

funniestmoment: casey saying whiffer

memorable: the whole campfire scene i guess

That was Donny's hand, Mikey was behind the couch, and the screen shot to him when April says: 'I often do a bit of 'chucking ...' u see Mikey shake his head with a 'ugh' - lol, that bit was deleted form the bought VHS over here, but I taped it from channel 5, and I got it! Haha!

I love it when April goes balistic for the funnist scene:
April: Oh my God I'm dead! I'm dead! Okay, I'm dreaming, I must be dreaming ... er, okay, those guys in the black pajamas, they jumped me - and that rat! *points at Splinter* I saw u in the parking lot - that explains u! *luks at turtles* and u guys, um ... I have no idea where u came from ... !

Memorable wud have to be the bit where Splinter is talkin to Danny.
Splinter: and you have no family to go to, Danny?
Dan: No, my dad cudn't care less about me
S: I doubt that is true
D: why?
S: All fathers care for their sons ... *bows head* I just think that line was really sad ...

Misfit 10-05-2003 01:25 PM

Funniest:
- Mikey ordering pizza and Splinter throwing the book at him, literally.
- Leo, Don and Mikey dancing.
- The scene in April's apartment with the Foot, where one of the Foot members shoves Don't head in the fish tank and when Don comes back up, Don quirkts water into the Foot member's eye.
- Casey and April fighting at the farmhouse and then Donny saying "Gosh, it's kind of like Moonlighting, isn't it? (I love that show!)

Most Memorable:
- Raph's fight with the Foot on the roof before they throw him through the window.
- The turtles, April's, and Casey's return to New York near the end. Awesome music in that scene.
- Raph and Casey's first meeting.
- The final show down with Shredder on the roof.

I also agree with all the ones picked by others. :)

Ninja Turtles Cartoon Fan 10-05-2003 02:59 PM

For me, the funniest scene out of all three movies occurred during the second film. Donatello pretended to be some toy in the mall, and a crook came over to investigate. The crook looked down, and then Donatello surprised him with that finger-up-the-chest-and-into-your-face move.

And then . . . and then . . . he starts beating the crook to death with a styrofoam bat-thingy, laughing all the while.

I laugh myself silly every time I watch that scene!

"Oh, what a joker! That's his funniest gag yet!" - Raphael, from "Michaelangelo Meets Bugman"

RskimB 10-05-2003 03:20 PM

Most memorable: When turtles are getting their asses kicked by shredder

Casey and Raph skirmish

Raph falling through the roof

Raph beng badly outnumbered on rooftop.

Casey's "you call this, this, and that over there family?", "speech"

Turtles finding out splinter is missing

Funniest:Mikey and the turtle wax

Don and Mikey choosing who fights shredder first

Mikey and the Dominos guy scene

Scene where Casey thinks the guys live in a hotel

my sig

Krangfan 10-05-2003 04:34 PM

I can easily say that most of the second movie always makes me laugh, but I love when they're fighting the burgalars in the mall at the beginning. :tlol: :kgrin:

You are mistaken: Don was the one behind the counter whose hands come up to find them, Mike was behind the couch and made a somewhat annoyed sigh to himself while putting his hand on his face ;)

EDIT: Nevermind, it was already mentioned...

Taloniss 10-05-2003 06:27 PM

Two more funny moment from the first movie,

Casey talking to Tatsu:" Ya know, a little," (makes spraying motion in his mouth) "might help to clear that up." That one gets me every time.

Casey: "Cricket?"
Raph: "Cricket? Cricket? No one understands cricket. You gotta know what a crumpet is to understand Cricket!" High-larious!

Yeah those are great. Also the campfire and Leo's Meditation. Raph throwing his sai and Mike was funny.

azure turtle 10-06-2003 03:35 PM

From the first movie...

Funniest scene: April waking up in the Turtles' lair. It cracks me up every time, especially the "I'm dead!" line. Heh heh...

Most Memorable: When the turtles finally fight Shredder on the rooftop. The first time I saw it, I was on the edge of my seat. One of the best fight scenes in the movie, IMHO. :D

Cascadia 10-06-2003 05:09 PM

one of the funniest parts in TMNT 2 is the finding of the new lair.

Nturtle 10-06-2003 05:21 PM

Most memorable: When Shredder falls off the roof.

Funniest: Hmmm... thats tough. But when Mikey is watching TV in April's apartment and says "Ninja kick the damn rabbit!!" comes to mind.

Turkituck 10-06-2003 08:08 PM

Oh gods... talk about a tough one....

well, I got TMNT 1 for my 7th birthday and had it totally memorized by the time I was 7 1/2! So, I agree with everything everyone has said for the first movie.

2nd movie... hmm... It's the only one I don't own and i haven't seen it in a long time, but who can forget the "Pre-fight Donut" ? The look in Shredder's face is priceless! hmm... must track down a copy of that DVD.. Fiancee wants to watch all 3 TMNT movies , especially #2 b/c he's a huge fan of David Warner (aka Professor Perry). For most memorable, seeing the Super Shredder's hand shoot up from the dock rubble and then it falling back.

3rd....here's a bit of grey area.... As a child, I loved this movie, even tho I hated the costumes... But I think the funniest moment would be Mikey riding the horse backwards and getting bonked on the head by Mitsu. Memorable scene would be Raph telling little Yoshi to keep his temper. Talk about the pot calling the kettle black!

HorseTechie 10-07-2003 12:03 PM

TMNT1: The whole movie! Heh.. or more specifically...
- the Tequilia/ninjutsu ditty
- "It slices, it dices, it makes french fries..." while Leo cuts up the 'za in midair. Only to have a piece land on Splinter.
- the Stink bug joke
- the way Don drinks soda from a can with a straw. Dude... look at that lip action!
- when the TMNT come back to April's after finding Splinter gone
- when Charles stops by her place the next morning, and everyone has to hide quick. I thought it was so funny how she had to cover up where Don was hiding too.
- the hilarious Raph Baiting scene when Don teases him for blushing over April's public annoucement. Only to have a sai thrown between his legs. :o
- The fight between Raph and Leo than ensues afterwards. "Porkrind?"
- the Alphabet Insult game between Casey and Don.
- Best Scene Ever: Brotherly Love! Gawd.. that bit with Leo making up top Raph is so touching. Just on the brother to brother level.. I don't do that slashy stuff anymore.
- that part then makes the campfire scene all the more impressive, IMO. Second Best Memorable scene that is. :D
- then.. my third best part where the guys are out in the fields improving on their fighting skill, and learning to use their hieghtened senses by not relying on sight alone. I'm serious, I would even watch it over in slo-mo just to follow all the action.
- After that... the rest of the movie is so-so to me. The Penecillin Joke, the Steam Fight, and the Final Rooftop fight with the Shredder are my favs left there. Oh.. and the ending, of course, where Don is having one brain fart after another while trying to think of a good word.

TMNT2: Uhmm... when they first find the new subway lair. Yeah.. and then when Don tries to have a phone conversation with April, and Mike keeps pestering him so he can say hi. All the while, Leo is bitching about Raph, and moving stuff, and needing help, etc. etc...

TMNT3: Don comes back after they had a rough time horseback riding in search for the Scepter. He's complaining about his butt to April, when Leo rides by like a circus star on his horse. "Sometimes.. I hate that guy!"

Raphaella 10-07-2003 12:12 PM

In the 3rd movie the funniest wud be when they go to save April, and Mike's missing, and Niles is mutternig about Walker:
Niles: Fetch the woman, Niles; lick my boots, Niles; feed my birds, Niles - what's next? - 'roll over and play dead' - *see the desguised guys* oh what're u luking at ya ugly lump'a dung?!

I think Raph's growls are hilarious, how he kinda rolls his eyes in anger and repeats what he's been called.

Raph: why I outtha ... GRrr! Did you hear what he called me Leo?
Leo: Yeah and ugly lump'a dung.
R: That was an insult Leo!
D: Not necessarily, Raph. Did u no in some contries dung is used as a field source? and etc ... lol :D

Cascadia 10-07-2003 12:35 PM

I do not remeber the stink bug joke in TMNT 1.

Blaze DTGG 10-07-2003 12:40 PM

I am giong to watch all three movies after buying them on DVD of course. I have them on VHS but I want to be able to control the scenes a bit better.

so yeah I will have a long list like HT's for my favoite and most memorable scenes.. heh

Blaze DTGG

Taloniss 10-07-2003 12:51 PM

First Movie: Mikey and Don talking about the Foot axe swinging skills:

Don: It's a good thing these guys aren't lumberjacks.'
Mike: No joke, the only thing safe in the woods, would be the trees!

ratmankey 10-07-2003 01:16 PM

Clearly the greatest scene in film history is the scene in TMNT II feauring the greatest performer in music history. Of course I'm referring to Vanilla Ice :D

j/k, in case it wasn't obvious enough.

Actually, when I re-watched the movies recently I hadn't seen them in years, and most of the humor wasn't quite as amusing as it was when I was 6. BUT I seriously laughed out loud when they're watching The Tortoise and the Hare and yelling at the screen because the tortoise could "take the rabbit". I didn't remember that at all.

And you have to love Splinter saying "I made a funny!"
