Well How is it?
Well? How is the game? I am stuck at school and wont be able to play it until i get home at 3 or later. I am just dying to know how good it is because the demo did not work for me. AAAAHHHHHHGGGG i hate school.
(At least i have no more classes today) |
woooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo!!!!!!! When I got home, guess what I found on my porch??? the new TMNT game! It must of just been delivered because I saw the truck about 2 blocks down from my house. Thank you Brown!!!!! The game is ass kickin. I gotta go play. Talk to you guys in a week
ARGGGGGGG AGGG AHHHHHHHHH!!! EEEEEE!!!
GIVE ME THE GAME I WANT IT AHHHH HAHAHAHAHAHA!!!!! damn the UK! |
I dont have to worry bout living in the UK cause I got a pretty cheap US-UK system adapter. Im gettin it some time tomorrow. Ah gotta love those Japanese, is there anything they dont know???
I was actully planning on buying a NTSC Gamecube, just for the hell of it.
Still.. that might also be a good idea, |
I don't even have the spare time to get out til tomarrow. Damn, I wan't to buy that thing soooo badly. *pariently waits until tomarrow*.......... :|
I will probably have to wait over a week to get my copy...
Im playing the game right now and it is soooooooo fun. There is some new animation and stuff not from the show, and it shows a lot of the show. Its funny cause Hun's voice isnt the same from the show...so different. Anyone see him yet?
So is the game a long game?
How long have you been playing it so far? Cuz you see, ive always imagined it to be very short, like i dunno, completerble in less than an hour, im not sure why i think though, but now that i think about it, it sounds really stupid. I guess i see too much of the arcade game in it |
I'm getting them tomorrow at Target w/ 5 bucks off and a free DVD...yay!
This game freakin owns!!!!! Its so much fun. It definitely will take longer than a hour to beat. It would probably be alot shorter skipping all the speaking and animation but who is going to do that. And yeah i've seen Hun already.
I read reviews of all the different console versions on gamespot.com, and they were all exactly the same. Are the rumors true about the old arcade game being unlockable in the Gamecube version? I really hope I don't get screwed over cuz of my xbox.
target didnt have it when i went? what the shell
Casey & Splinter are also meant to be playerble
im uber pissed. why wouldnt my target have it??
game is pretty good overall. I didnt get to play it a lot today cause I had some things to do. I few minor complaints(that I can live with) voices do start to become annoying, sometimes its hard to see enimies, and you can only save one game at a time....wtf that sucks cause I wanted to save my own game and save games I play with other people. But I think you can have a 2nd person join in anytime. Again, I can live with these problems. I played with a fer diff turtles in story mode and decided I like Raph the best. Mike is second, but I hate his jump attack thing, the helicopter, its hard to do damage with it. Did anyone else do story with different turtles?? I started with Mike, then I did Raph. When ou are Raph you encounter Casey in the 2nd area, whereas when youre a diff turtle you dont. I think its kinda cool how they did that. Cutscenes are great, straight from the cartoon.
sounds cool. That 5 bucks off target coupon says it will be there the 23rd. I hope it will.
I picked up as soon as I got off work this afternoon and rushed home to play it. All I have to say is DAMN! It is classic Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles beat-em-up action for the next generation, and it is a blast! I've played through the Nano levels by myself. Now I am playing with a friend of mine. It really takes us back to old-school arcade game where you got with a friend and kicked some Foot butt. Totally awesome!!! I gotta get back to it! :tsmile: :tsmile: :tsmile: :tsmile:

My Two Cents....Screw Ign, Game Spot, and EGM (Game Pro gave it a good review). This game is fun as hell, sports some ass-kicking levels, and seeing the episodes unfold is great (in addition to some footage that I have never seen before).
Those reviewers need to get their finger out of their shell and stop reviewing games unfairly, because I can be pretty open-minded, and I have seen them give worst games better grades. But this game is truly a lot of fun to play, and an overall great package. |
I really like it. It's just a really fun game to play.
The constant chatter the turtles emit when fighting didn't bother me at all... In fact, one of my favorite things is when Don yells "Yee-Ha!" :D I just love that. Anyway, I think it's really cool. Off topic note - Hey, this is my 200th post! Yay for me! :) |

I like the game except for the jump attacks.....have not quite figured it out yet.
I'm surprised at how low the game has scored. Gamespot seemed very excited during the previews for it. :ohwell: Can't wait for this weekend... I'm gonna get the PS2 version and play it for myself.
Yes, don't listen to the reviews. None of the reviews do this game justice. I have a few complaints, but overall this game is AWESOME!!! Last night, I made it as far as beating Mecha Turtle and beating the dojo after that level. I really wish I can play it now, but I am at work. If you really want to know what this game is like, don't read about it in a magazine or on IGN. Buy it or rent it and play it yourself. You will not be disappointed.

For comparison, original arcade game takes some 30-45 minutesto beat.

it is going much better for me now.....I am at the Junkyard monster.
It's ok. I just wish the Turtles would shut the hell up! "Talk to feet!"
Got to Shredder as Mikey, but I only had 1 life left, and he managed to beat me :( Now I gotta go through his whole area again.
Game is really good, just some minor complaints: I wish you could save after areas, not just stages, especially in the last area. The voices do get a bit repetitive, but not as bad as in the video previews. I'd give it about an 8/10. |
I am in the Japanese art room of the museum.
is the pc vertion dvd or cd-rom? if its dvd theres no way for me to play it :( and my game cube always shows the message "could not read game disc" so i really should be cd-rom :)
I just finished beating giant Nanotech monster in the junkyard with Don. Man, that was quit a challenge. I'll wait a few hours pefore I start the next stage.

i just passed the second dojo stage and got a power increase soon i'll be able to start stage 4 when i get offline. :D
I haven't played my NGC one yet, but I have spent a lot of time playing the GBA one. I've gotten through the first 4 acts with Raph, and Mike and the first three with Leo and Don on the Normal setting. I'm gonna go try the NGC one in a few. :)
I played the GBA version (on easy :P) and have gone through all the turtles except for Don. I only have one more stage left with him. I'd rate it a 8/10. The first thing that I said to one of my friends who was there when I first started playing was that it plays a lot like TMNT 2 on NES, which it does, only better. I really like the charge-up attacks. BTW, as far as length of the game, on easy I'd say its about 1 and a half to 2 hours long, but i dont really know how accurate that is
Well, after a day, I'm still really loving this game. I've gotten to the last part of Notes From The Underground. My brother and I are having a great time playing this game. :) No complaints yet! :D
i just played the new game at my friends house. the voises when they fight get old excpet for don. i think that the easy mode is too easy. i wish that the game followed closer to the show which might be hard to do but anyways besides that i wish i had my own copy for xbox. i rate it 77/100
