New Game Spoilers,Cheats, Hints, Codes and Brag Room
Okay...
I know a lot of you folks are really excited about the new games, but we're getting WAY too many double/triple threads of the same topics. therefore.... What I'm going to do is try and splice some of the other threads into this, and have one official thread for the games. This way, you dont have to search willy-nilly for codes in a dozen different threads. It might seem as a pain to some, but I believe having all the codes and such together will be beneficial to all you gamers.... ;) |
sorry Guys, I'm doing the best i can!

And Hun, I did in just 1 go, he was actully one of the easiest bosses in my opinoin, even the Gaint Mouser Bot was harder than Shredder. |
Well, I just beat the GBA version :D
What ARE those energy creatures that Shredder turns into? |
To me they look like small versions of the clawed Shredder Clown
|
BTW is it just me, or do you think that in hard, you get to fight Oruku Saki?
The Shredder Battle was to easy IMO |
I wouldn't know...I died on the first act on Hard :(
|
I'm still on the nano monster.(looks a lot like the new figure I just bought). Were'nt there codes given with the action figures? I'll have to go check on this but I think there were. The new game rocks!!! :D
|
I have the GC version and I still need to pick up my GBA version.
basically I think the game is great. I have found the speach to be entertaining but bordering on annoying at times. although it cracks me up that Don says Yeehaw and Rawhide. Neways. I am stuck in area 3. I cannot beat that metal turtle guy. I dunno if i just don't move fast enough or what. but he keeps stunning me and tthen hitting me. its a real pain. Blaze DTGG |
I am working my way through Justice (the last stage)
|
I just got the game today and I've gotten past the Dojo with Raph (I wanted his jump attack) and I just got past Nano with Mike. That last fight against him was significantly easier on a console but still quite hard. I eventaully figured out the best way to beat him after you have used all the barrels. Is to use Mike's propeller kick in that oh so special way. Jump as high as possible and then tap that attack button like your life depended on it... and in that fight it does. You don't rack up much damage but it'll finish him off faster than most of the jump attacks and seeing as I only had Mike and Raph's... Mike was the best option. Playing that stage with a partner seems to be worse than playing alone. When you are playing two player the angles are rotten and you can't judge how far away Nano is... not to mention you can't freely go anywhere which in the end gets you hit a whole lot. So either you have to have a parter who is very compitent and will follow your lead in the split second you start... I recommend playing that fight solo and taking full advantage of all the life replenishers.
I was actually pretty alright with it being just two player but then I got to that level in "Nano" when you are on the bridge. The angles are so spread out automatically it makes NO SENSE WHATSO EVER why they couldn't make the game four player. They could still have the lead turtle in each story, but 4 player would have made this game TERRIFIC for parties. Though trading off at parties works pretty well too. They seem to skip around a lot in the first few levels at least. Things Change covers everything before Nano BUT the ending sequence is still from the FIRST episode. It made no sense to go from saving April to finding Splinter in the sewers. The made for game scenes (ie the opening stuff for the Evil Turtle Bot stages) are kinda neat. They aren't as nice as the footage from the episodes though and have slightly different designs. The scene seemed to play like a poorly dubbed anime actually... It reminded me of the cinema scenes on Mega Man X4. TMNT is in fact the intial purchase in my Gamecube collection. I bought a Platinum GCN (the may be rare some places but Toys R Us had tons!), TMNT (which I bought from Target with the 5 bucks off coupon, sadly I didn't get a DVD - but it was a single episode one anyway according to the lady who rung the game up for me), and a Memory card 251 with 100 bucks I got from my grandparents and some of my own money. It came out to be about 160 bucks give or take. I've been putting off buying a GCN for a long time because I figured there would be a price drop. I decided with TMNT coming out and me wanting to keep my title of "owner of every TMNT console game" (I need the GBA one before I'll be owner of all the handhelds games again - but you can bet I'll be picking it up as soon as I can) and with Mario Kart: DD coming out... I figured, dang it I need a Gamecube. So I pooled my resources and finally bought one. To gain a bit more perspective here. The last NEW game I bought was Game & Watch Gallery 4 (which I bought in Spring) and the last NEW console game I've recieved was Mario Tennis (which is MIA at the moment). So it's been a good 3 or 4 years since I bought a new game much less a new console. Fact is, this was the NEW first console I bought myself, and I must say I'm quite content. :D |
So far I've beaten the GBA game an easy, and I'm working my way through it on Normal. I started the NGC version with Raph(so I could fight Casey), and I stopped after I beat Casey so my friend and I could start a co-op game with me playing Leo, and him playing as Don.
|
Right now, I am in Nano with Leo. With Donnie, I am in the Justice stage.
|
im in tengu. Does any else thinks hun;s voice is crazy. ANd the weird yellow things the foot rides. Its crazy. I love the game though
|
Beat the game with Don & Mikey so far. I'm on Notes from the Underground with Raph and Tengu with Leo.
Beat the GBA version with everyone on normal so far. |
I just came off an all-nighter and finished beating the gamecube version with all 4 turtles. Good god is oroku saki hard. Had it not been for the gembu and about 60 shurikens (maybe more), I would think that beating him is nearly impossible. I still have a good amount of makimonos to get seeing as I don't have all of the database unlocked. Now I have to beat the game as splinter. As for the GBA version, I beat it on easy, and I'm up to the shredder level on normal. I haven't tried it on hard yet, that shredder level is hard, and Hun slaps the taste outta my mouth. :dead: That little dash attack leo does sure doesn't work against him! :( Anyways, I hope I can get casey in story mode without beating the GBA version, although there's still so much to do, I'll love the challenge.
|
I'm not sure if these have been posted yet but here are two codes for gamecube users.
Casey Jones Mode: S R L M D Splinter Mode: L S L M L Enjoy! |
I am still in the Justice level with Donnie. Nano with both Leo and Raph. I have not tried Mikey yet.
|
How do you get the thing where all turtles come in?
|
How do you save seperate story modes (in PS2/GC version) for each turtle? Are you guys using different memory cards, or does the character you pick after you load a game determine which saved story mode you want to continue on?
Also, when do you get to use that Gembo team move? Is it taught to you by Splinter in one of the Dojo things? And if so, is there a certain way you have to play to get it in? I'm up to Level 6: Justice with Donatello and I've only been through 2 Dojo lessons, so I never even got the chance to learn it. Do you have to be in Hard mode, or use a different character, or what? |
the saving of the stages for each turtle can be on one memory card. When you pick a specific turtle, it will take you to where you ended.
|
I've completed Nano with Mike and Leo, and the Dojo with Raph (mainly for Casey Jones and Raph's jump attack). I love playing as Donny but I haven't played as him long enough.
I beat Nano with my friend as Mike and myself as Leo this time around, but he died ALL TOO fast. Which helped make it easier for me to move around. Then with about half of my last life left I slowly picked away at Nano by jump kicking and dashing away as fast as possible. It was hard work but I eventually pulled it off. I got the GBA game today at Target (22.88 with the coupon and the current sale - with tax it came to just under 25 dollars), and I've been playing it like mad sense. I actually think I enjoy it more (not suprising really). Each turtle is vastly different and fun in their own way. Mike's wall jumps make him look completely like a frog BTW, which seems fitting because the game plays more like Battletoads than the TMNT games. It's actually a refreshing change. Thus far the GBA game I've completed Leo, Raph, and Don's stages (I saved Mikey for last because I love to be him). Those dang Foot-Tech Ninja's were a pain. I'm currently on Mikey's third level. I'm love'n these games! |
the foot elite in the PS2 games is a pain

Well I've completed all of easy now and honestly Mike's boss level was a HUGE let down.
I've started on Leo's levels in Normal now. I've completed the first two. I'll likely finish the game on normal pretty soon. |
Just beat the game with all 4 Turtles...now for Casey and Splinter!
