Here's its Amazon listing.

Even has a foreword by Eastman.

Nice find! Let us know if you find a preview of the interior contents,

TheBlueTurtle1 07-29-2017 02:52 AM

It's out in the UK now! I need to see what it's like.

oldmanwinters 07-29-2017 08:12 AM

Apparently, written by the guy who runs this site:

TheCanadiandrome 07-30-2017 03:17 PM

Yea my interest is at 0 until I can see the interior.

Panther10 07-30-2017 04:11 PM

It's only 96 pages? Most trade mags are longer than that.

TurtleWA 07-30-2017 05:22 PM

Great idea for a book! I imagine it could have several chapters covering different aspects of TMNT collectibles. I hope the interior is well written with beautiful color photos. But "don't judge a book by its cover" comes to mind.

CyberCubed 07-30-2017 08:42 PM

Depends how good the content is, what exactly is cataloged in it?

DonnieLaForge 07-31-2017 10:40 AM

Potentially much more interesting, and more complete, than OP's book:

Is there a thread started for this project somewhere else on the board? Seems thread worthy.

Nortock Diab 07-31-2017 02:27 PM

I was actually looking for a dedicated thread myself.
I backed the project a few minutes ago.

Raptor86 07-31-2017 03:02 PM

40$ of shipping cost?!!

No, thanks

Is that for the Kickstarter book?

wpugh2424 07-31-2017 07:13 PM

Like that potential action figure book
Seems promising

Yes! But know it has been lowered to 20$!!!

Freeman 08-07-2017 07:35 PM

I'm backing the KS campaign but I'm uncertain about it getting the funds: with such a small niche they are still half way there...
I'd love to see our community get a book like this ^o^

ZacksSoUgly 08-07-2017 08:15 PM

Less than a month to go and still some ways away from the goal...

We need to share this and get it backed!

tmntman 09-20-2017 05:34 PM

I ordered the book that was original referenced by this thread and it arrived today. It's interesting, especially since most of it is dedicated to things other than the toy line. But if your primary interest is the toys, there's only about 20 pages to cover the entire vintage Playmates line. And it has nothing about the later lines other than modern releases based on the 80's toon.

Yeah it's just okay. I actually grew up on the Sega Genesis and Hyperstone Heist is one of the games it doesn't even mention.

I'll leave it out for company, still something neat to look at.
