New episode Discussion: T.in S.-The Trouble with Triceratons

Heh, youre lucky i'm doing this right now. *runs away from the leaning tower of homework* Heh, couldnt pass up the opportunity to torm--- I mean, EnterTain you! :D Well well... our boys are busy hanging around with their buddy Fugitoid/Prof. Honeycutt. Not exactly the tourist ride, but having an interesting time nonetheless. Mindful Mentor in a colorful mechanical shell. Not the same as regular M&Ms, but you get the idea. :P :D Oooh, theyre hittin' a club to try and transport themselves the shell outta that universe! *ducks from the flying boots and rotten tomatoes while munching her M&Ms* Hehe....well, what do you think the chances are that this'll be a flashback to the bar in Start Wars? :D Hmm, guess they shoulda asked Obi-wan to come with them. The General with No Name (old joke from last week) sends his storm troop--- I mean, Forces to fight the guys. :goof: During this, The candy-coated professor gets captured by none other than the Triceratons! Hmm, I wonder if one of them will tell Leonardo he's his father... :P *Also wonders if they get good radio reception through the horns* ANYways... Heh, insert big chase scene here! The boys try to rescue the good doctor, only to end up on the Triceraton ship, and it turns out to be Homeward Bound! *puts kitty ears on Raph, leash on Mike and Turns Leo into a Golden Retriever* Hey wait a minute....that ain't right... WILL THEY MAKE IT?! WILL THEY SAVE FUGITOID FROM THE HORNY SPACEMILITANTS?! AND WHY ARE MY WORDS ALL REALLY BIG?! oh...stupid Caps Lock... (heh, mods/admin are free to comment... :P ) |

I can't wait for tomorrow's ep! The TMNT VS the Triceratons... The fight scenes in the season opener should be just a hint to the battles that lie ahead. And I hope we get to see the Star Wars cantina scene that's in the comic books. :anime: |

triceratons!!!! :o theyre so awesome. This was a really cool episode cause it was full of action and was one of my favorites. I loved the Hon Solo and Chewy spoof. And when Mikey messed around with those buttons and it detached the side car and started screaming like a girl, haha.

Oh my god! I loved this ep! hehe I'm not one of the Star Wars fans, but that Chewie and (Han Solo wasn't it?) gag was priceless. ^.^ Mikey was funny trying to pull off being in drag... That entire chase scene with the ship Don was driving was great. And I really liked the ending too...

Great ep. I'm kinda disappointed that in all that gun fire we didn't see one person go down or even see someone laying on the ground. I'm not surprised by it, but it does take away from those battle scenes. Mikey was great in this ep. I laughed out loud at him quite a few times. Overall not as good as the last one, but pretty close.

Awesome episode, I loved this all the way (and not cause I'm an old skool SW fan). Lots of great fight action, speeder chases, and frunky disguises.
Totally laughed at poor Mikey having to wear a chic's outfit. He was a clown all thoughout this ep. Also spotted the Han Solo and Chewbacca cameo! Mmm.. while do those Triceratons look so hunky cool? Must be the big muscles... nevermind the horniness. :goofygri: The Turtles in that junker hoovercraft was a riot. Mike was acting like it was a roller coaster, Leo looked sick, and Raph was like "Oh gaahhh". The expressions on the Turtles seemed to be more obvious in this new season. Even they are drawing the Turtle with wider eyes, they do squint during the tense moments. Getting used to them now. 8) Quote:

This episode ruled! Mikey was hilarious as usual. His dress was pretty on him. :lol: The episode had a good story and Fugitoid is cool. The triceratons look so cool and the fighting was cool. And the Star Wars reference that was funny. "We Can Do Better". Amazing episode I am looking forward to more of Season 2 and can't wait for the dvds! 9/10 is my rating. GREAT EPISODE!

Good episode today. Is it just me, or when Mike but on the dress, did he grow a pseudo rack? :lol: The Triceratons own! :o The car the Turtles hotwired was so a knockoff of the Fantasicar. Can't wait til next week.

THIS EPISODE RULES!! OMG The animation was back to normal thank goodness!! course I was mad that Leo took Don's line from the comic #5 when he was upset that Fugitoid was gone. But anyways VERY pleased :)

And the last time was probably another TMNT episode! The humor was great. But my absolute favorite was the part with the car. From Donnie fixing it (I loved his feet kicking in the air when he had his head in the engine... So cute! :D )... to their expressions while driving, and when Mikey went flying through the air with the scream, :lol: , I almost hyperventilated! That was so funny!

Lets see...people have already mentioned many of my favorite moments...Mike sure screams like a girl doesn't he? Caught an error in the bar when the Fed troops burst in. Fugitoid's cloak was red in one shot. Oooh! I really liked the Triceraton General shouting about how they were going to hatch their broods on the ruins of the Federation. Nice touch. And of course, you know I loved seeing Mike get felt up by a tentacle alien. :evilgrin: |
Great episode, I laughed A LOT, more than usual. Seems like all the bases have been covered, but that's expected when peoples see the ep before I do! Yeah, the Han Solo and Chewbacca part was hysterical. How did the Turtles and Fugitoid end up in Mos Eisley Spaceport? j/k!
Machias, if you didn't mentoin which part was a reference to Labyrinth, I totally wouldn't have known! I was staring at Mikey's stomach and only picturing the INside of his stomach making that movement. But when you said what you were thinking of, then I remembered when Sarah took a wrong turn down a pit and was stuck in mid-air by the weird blue hands. "Yes, which way!" "Up! Or down!" "Come on, come on, we haven't got all day!" :) I basically liked all the scenes mentioned, but is it possible to get very nauseous from a cartoon? The part where Mike ordered the pink stuff that looked like Mush-Of-Utrom literally churned my stomach and put a lump in the throat. I'm getting sick to begin with (curses the flu bug going around) and I think seeing that made it worse for me. :sick: The parts of Mike's lips being pulled back from the G-force SO reminded me of the carnival attraction, the Gravatron. Anyone ever been on that? You stand up against a seat inside a space ship-like contraption and then you spin around soooo fast, the gravity pulls you into the seat! I got as far as sitting up with just my rear on the cushion and my body floating in mid-air! Be careful, though. The force can snap ya right back into the seat and it hurts! Never did space travel, but that's good enough for me. :D Liked the part where the hoovercraft crashed and their little talk mirrored the comic. I waited to see if Leo's bandana was lifted up over one bulging eye, but that didn't happen. Still curious to see when they'll give the guys pupils when their masks are off, not counting as little kids. Erm, you know for those who miss the episode due to sleeping in or whatever, let me give some advice...eh, advice I should use for myself after the way I've been feeling. If you don't think you're going to wake up to watch the show, SET...THE...VCR!!! Or, if you don't have a VCR, SET...THE...ALARM...TO...BLARE!!! Or, if you don't have an alarm, then...STAY UP TILL THE SHOW AIRS! :lol: No, no. That's not good either, unless you're like Machias and can hold out all hours. ;) Well, okay, if all else fails and you still miss it, you always know they're going to repeat it later on. Plus, people get copies of it online that you can download and watch. I never got to see "Return to New York" part one but that was because of sports changing the schedule. I'm waiting for it to repeat and then I'll catch it. Phew, I talked a lot. Laters! |
Man when I first saw the scene where to Turtles were in the bar I was like "what a cheap Star Wars ripoff..." that is until I saw Han Solo and Chewie and laughed my butt off and realize they WERE trying to spoof Star Wars. I can't believe they even made Chewie sound just like the one from the real Star Wars.
One thing I found strange was when the Turtles were fighting Hun they had a really hard time knocking him down. These Triceraton guys looks even bigger than Hun but the turtles easily knocked them down. Oh well no big problem. The turtles probably got stronger from all those battles. |
I'm here on another thread about this week's new episode. The narating for Mikey was a good touch for the turtle who knows Sci-Fi movies pretty well. I just know there'll be some i'm hungry scene since mikey didn't got a chance to try those Space Chips from the previous episode.
I like the part when Mikey had to pretend to be a girl to get in the bar. I can see alot of references of the bar of Tatooie from A New Hope. It did contain alot of aliens at that bar like in Star Wars. The tough talk, Tencle Alien thinking that mikey was a girl and asking for her or his Screen Number. I like the part when Mikey is unable to know what's on the Menu. He gets grossed out with the mush that he was able to order like the large Alien saying it was good stuff. The part with Fugitoid saying that he found 2 gentalemen that can help them out. I was exspecting 2 tough looking thugs. But i laughed when I saw it was Han Solo & Chewy in a booth table. I laugh that part and another good camoe for the Space Episodes of TMNT. I like the part with the Federation Troopers coming in the Bar just like Stromtroopers invading the Bar. The Triceratons coming in with Higher skilled weapons compared to the Fedret's weapons. I like it when Raph all went: "Who invited the Dinosaurs?" The whole run down hovercraft did had some references of a RollerCoaster. The Speeder Chase remind me of Return of the Jedi's Racer Chase in the Forest. The like the part when Raph mention Don learning to Drive in N.Y. (perfers to Thing change) And Leo: "like Master Splinter says: Anything in the hands of a ninja can be a weapon(perfer to Shredder Strikes Part 1)". The part with the Fedret vs. Triceratons did remind of some battle scenes of the Pre-Sequals of Star Wars. Was it just me or did the Triceraton BattleShip look simalar to Jango Fett's Starfighter? The whole save your breath thing was one of a kind. Another 5 out of 5 Star Episode. next is the Triceraton Republic! |

I joined a little project at my school which forces me to get there by 9:00 so I miss the TMNT, but I set my VCR and all, so I'm giving my 2 cents later than usual.
this was a pretty awesome episode!! Mikey was pretty hillarious, except when he started pressing buttons in the chase scene, that was just stupid... "We can do better" :lol: :lol: Bwa ha ha!!!! That was probably the funniest thing in the new show so far!!! All around it was really good! I like the way they are building out of the RTNY arc to the utroms to fugitoid and triceratons... |
