The New Playmates TMNT toy requests.
 

If you have any requests about the new line of TMNT action figures post them here. That means anything you think the figures are missing, or any figure you think should be included. I'm curious to see what you guys think. If you feel strongly about something that should be made, send your requests to [email protected].

I personally think the joints could be improved. Shredder's arms barely move and his right arm is bent and will never be moved because of how they did the joints. The same goes for many more. And the next few series of figures coming out have the same problems.

As for figures that should be considered I would have to go with Police officers. They are always in the show, even though they play a microscopic role in the cartoon, there are always cops. They should make NYPD figures, possibly in two-packs. You could even throw in squad cars for vehicles (the car should have light-up headlights and siren lights, Playmates has a bad habit of not including any kind of electronic technology to their toys).

Also, they really should have made the Purple Dragon gang members for the second releases. Well, actually they just flat out should have made them. Wouldn't it be great to have New York gang action figures. C'mon now, do it for the kids!!

Well after seeing all the figures coming out, I just want Baxter and Angel. Those are the only two that aren't coming out as far as I know.

We definitely need a giant Cyborg Baxter Stockman, probably 12".
Garbageman should also have a figure just because of how cool it would be. You're telling me Silver Sentry and Dr. Malignus are made, but not Garbageman. Come on Playmates. They would both make awesome figures and would appeal to kids.

A cloaked clear version of the Foot Tech Ninja is a great idea. It could be a chase version of the Foot Tech Ninja. Playmates has got to consider that.

No, no chase version. Just a new version, made in equal quanaties as the regular version. I don't want Playmates going down the same road as Mattel. :)

Playmates would be willing to make a cloaked version of the Foot Tech ninja, I think. If pattern persists, they would jump all over that. They are all for releasing different versions of the same stuff.

What's up with all of these people bringing up dead threads lately?

Why would you waste time complaining about it? If someone started a new one you probably would have said "we already had a thread like this". And if not you someone else would have.

Anyways, we should see some of the new surprise creations from Playmates next month. Action-figure.com will be covering the next toy fair and we should see some great new stuff. Baxter Stockman hopefully. I can't wait.

I don't want any more new figures that arn't comming, cept maybe Baxter.

What I DO want is for them to make the figs have ball joints. I'm tired of the crappy statue like figures. All of the wave 2 and up figs would have been better had they given them better articulation.

I wasn't complaining. I was poiting out the fact that he brought up and old thread "dead" thread which is not allowed on these forums. I figured someone who has been here as ong as you would have realsied that, but I guess I was mistaken.

I confess. I found this thread a few pages back while perusing the boards, and thought I'd addmy thoughts, because there have been a lot of new additions to the toon mythos since it was started. I didn't know that resurrecting "dead threads" was a violation around here. You can probably tell that I'm not on these boards nearly as much as some of you guys, so I apologize. Still, if the powers that be didn't wat s to be able to do that, they should really just lock or even delete these "dead threads." In any event, it seems like there's been a significant response to the threads rising again, so I'll let it go at that.

Oh, and when i mentioned little turtles with a new (read: sleeved) Splinter, I meant infant-sized, just larger than their original "pet-size" turtles.

PS-Did anyone notice in the first pics of the Mutations figs that they were possibly supposed to include painted pet-tutles with masks? (PVC ones, like the glow in the dark versions that came with ooze back in the hey-day.)

I haven't seen self contained ooze containers yet. They should make some and put it in a clear TCRI container.

The only problem with those is tha we either havent seen them in the new toon yet, or we won't see them. And playmates won't make anything until they know it's going to be in the new toon otherwise it wouldn't sell.

I would love to see a new shogun/samurai line. I loved my samurai turtles when I was younger, they can even make feudal Japan Foot, Shredder and Guardian as well now that we have seen them on the cartoon!

A lot of them are highly unlikely unless they make Retro characters... which they will not... at least any time soon.

But Garbageman needs to be made, though he'd have to be marketed differently since he's too damn big to fit in one of those little blister packs.

they should come back with all the old toys plues new ones so everyone is happy.

Which is why, in most likely hood...he'll never be made. Unless he becomes hugely popular in the New Cartoon.
