Well, it's certainly unique and a deep cut. I can see the appeal, but I feel like the NECA stuff jumped the shark years ago already.

at least he had some relevance in the movie and an actual scene being late to deliver pizza. This neca "trashman" figure looks like some random trashman named kevin eastman. It's typical NECA cash crab. I'd rather have the black lady that had her TV stolen in the opening of the film, at least she made it into a scene instead of a "deleted scene" random trash dude.

This is a must own item for a Shellhead. I hope they make Peter next.

We could of gotten:

Black complaining TV lady w/ TV set
Late Pizza delivery man (who had other roles in the film)
Sam Rockwell thug with cigarette cartons
The Police Chief w/ screaming head
Danny's Dad

Hardly irrelevant; cameo (albeit unused) from one of the creators.

It's a must-own for me. Kevin is a lovely bloke who totally deserves to be immortalised in plastic, and will be on permanent display in my collection. I've even got a spot picked out already.

Given that NECA is making a figure of a character that wasn't even in the movie, you don't have to worry about the well running dry. Your wallet, on the other hand...

An unimportant scene never making it into the film IS pretty irrelevant. The scene wasn't used because it was a dumb cameo scene to begin with. A trash man of Kevin is as lame as it gets and doesn't seem deserving at all. We keep supporting this, next will be Splinter's TURDS on the ground deleted scene

Chief Sterns and Mr. Pennington actually do feel like HUGE omissions at this point. Sterns even got a brief cameo in Secret of the Ooze... and became a major recurring character in the 1990s Italian Il Giornalino comics.

Being a deep cut isn't the point. The point is it's Kevin Eastman.

I mean, if I bought the Prof. Perry 2 pack then I imagine I will buy this. Now give us Bubble Gum Girl and I'm out. In fact that might just cap my entire toy career, I've probably been buying TMNT merch for the past 34 years in what will turn out to have solely been a subconscious effort to get as close as possible to the girl I used to make out with through TV screen (to make my friends laugh...no other reason). XD

Marvel Legends fans have their Stan Lee figures; what’s wrong with shellheads having a Kevin Eastman figure? NECA made Oroku Saki and Hamato Yoshi for their movie line before Fred Wolf fans even got an Oroku Saki. I hope NECA does Peter next because he will be barely noticeable as a police officer in Super7’s 2k3 line.

I know playmates or someone else are doing Eastman/Laird "vintage style" figures to fit into the vintage line. So that should make you happy. Neca is probably going to do laird too (will be another waste).

Give me relevant characters like punk Sam Rockwell, Chief Sterns, and a foot soldier/Black lady with chair and TV for the foot to steal- 2 pack :lol: (at least she was in the movie and not deleted out)

It's not Playmates that is doing these but some of the original sculptors from Playmates. They are Kickstarter incentives for the new Turtle Power documentary. It was mentioned in one of Pixel Dan's latest videos.

Very expensive as you will need to purchase at least the $580 Canadian ($430 US) bundle to receive them.
