Potential lock and ban just for the fact that I‘m not getting any love here.

Made some typos, standby!

How about: “Barkworm mentions his kids” “Barkworm censors our free speech” “Barkworm insults America” |
All approved, proceed!

Oh good, I'm not notable enough to...

Me horny for cartoons? That's pretty spot on haha
I don't get the "Chinese writer" square? That's a reference to whom? Also, how could you forget "A Day Inside May"? |

Pfff, as if I'm the only one. I'm just not afraid to admit it. If wanting to bang 87 April is wrong, I don't want to be right. |

I still remember the first time that post was made, good times. |
OMG this was f'n hysterical!

I was gonna be done, but you inspired me to make one more. https://i.imgflip.com/ahx2h0.jpg |
Aside from the fact I'm not actually liberal (on the actual world political spectrum, not how you see anyone left of MAGA in the US as "liberal")... some old names out the woodwork there

I don’t know how you identify, but I didn’t call you a liberal. No need to bug up!
But your Orange Man Bad posts are like a relic of 2017-era-twitter “resistance” slop. You’re an important ingredient here, never change! I’m just taking the piss (did I use that right?) |
Ya know the 'Drome's a lot more diverse when defending FW is seen as something out of the ordinary and not the general rule:P

It's been a long time and people have forgotten by now, but there was a big divide in the fandom once the 2k3 series came out. Before FW you had Mirage, ofc, but very few people in the world read those before the internet was a thing, let's face it. So, in the minds of most of the world, the 1987 cartoon series are the original turtles. Therefore, the 2003 series was the first time a big divide in the fandom formed. |

I've seen the official art and... nope  |
Gun to my head, I still probably couldn't say which one I'd choose to watch: TMNT 2016 or Mutant Mayhem. They both just seem so ghastly, but interestingly for completely different reasons (for the most part).
I still haven't seen either, of course. |
I wasn't self aware I mentioned AI was taking over in 5 years so much
I would've thought it'd be my obsession over The Next Mutation, which btw are not troll posts. My likes are such outliers that there is a blurry line between my honest posts and my shtpost ones. Well at times because the drome has me take my sht posts to cartoony levels only to be able to match the same energy of what's already being posted here :tlol: Bingo definitely needed some oldmanwinters love here are some I'd put on mine: *Oldmanwinters randomly drops extremely obscure and/or lost media facts/scans in a topic *Roseangelo comes back to make a snarky post about topic *Andrew brings up politics to an unrelated thread *Zarius defends 80s cartoon *new member is driven away by hostility *Dawn of the ninja mentioned+youtube interview posted in thread *User that only posts in the TMNT Toy section posts (Looking at you Wes) *TMNT 2014 slander is brought up *Member who hasn't posted comes back suspiciously posts again once in a thread talking about old times, meaning they've been stalking the board in silence all along |

And you forget "Ignore Listed". |
Yeah but I think he already put "new member is actually an alt account" in one of the bingos

I didn't put any stock into it allegedly being a sequel at the time. I just sort of accept it as a nicely animated Turtles "adventure". That movie is a bit like "The Temple of Doom" to me. It's not one of the massive events in the life of the hero - it's just a snapshot into some of the other things they did in their "adventurous lives". |
Quote:
It's really not offensively bad or anything in any way. It's just, "Wow, what a weird way to relaunch a TMNT movie franchise." I didn't care for the designs, either. |
I mean... anyone who could sit through the Fred Wolf show and enjoy that to this day can certainly sit through TMNT 2007 and enjoy it as "another TMNT adventure". I also recall that the PS2 game based on that movie was pretty solid.

And the 4kids show was already in its way out by ‘07, basically. Seems like 2004-2005 would have been a smarter target. Anyways, the 20th anniversary is about 1 year from now. You should absolutely watch it on a livestream or at least record a commentary. I would for sure tune in. Quote:
OOTS didn’t learn a single lesson from 2014 and doubled down on all the worst parts. Not to mention drawing even more from the FW well, and they didn’t even do them justice. MM also did a better job with the celebrity castings. I do love Gary Anthony Williams, but the rest were all lame. Quote:

TMNT 2007 was a huge misfire in terms of creative. You can't make the first Ninja Turtles movie since 1993 with a plot and villains like the ones you had in 2007. They should have simply played things simple and made a TMNT vs. Shredder movie. It was the first movie in about 14 years. And it came out at a time where the 2k3 series was no longer that hot anymore. I remember when it was announced, TONS of people were like "The Turtles are back!"... yes, most people had no clue about the fact there was a cartoon airing at the time.
TMNT 2007 had a bit of huge for a week or so. After it came out... people forgot about it. The PS2 game based on it was fun, though. A Prince of Persia clone with lots of jumping off roofs from building to building. |
