Guess what guys...(realtion to BK toys)

When I came home yesterday, my father brought me to Burger King, and our BKs already have the Turtle toys out. I am now a proud owner of Raphael on the Shell Cycle. (Sorry can't remember what the toy is actually called) So keep your eyes peeled!

Jo Dawn 01-04-2004 05:17 PM

Lucky you! I went to BK today, and they still haven't recieved them yet.

Jarrah White 01-04-2004 05:30 PM

When is the BK toys realised in Sydney?

Roseangelo 01-04-2004 05:48 PM

Well, I'm going off to BK! Hopefully I'll find some TMNT toys!

Well, no TMNT toys yet. Still Cat in the Hat.

[Mike: Please try not to double post.]

Aaron 01-04-2004 07:52 PM

Does anyone have any decent pics of the BK toys?

You would too! :x

GK Punk 01-04-2004 10:30 PM

Damn, I had dinner there last night... I didn't go so I didn't see the Ad for them, I just had my friend bring me food home with her :(

Stone Ill 01-04-2004 10:34 PM

Wait.. You had dinner there last night.. but you didn't go? I don't see much sense there.

GK Punk 01-04-2004 10:40 PM

Here is a re-creation of last night for Stone Ill who didn't read my post:

*cell phone rings*

Me: Hello?
Sarah: Hey, you want something to eat from Burger King?
Me: Sure, get me a double cheeseburger
Sarah: Ok, I'll be over in a few minutes

Roseangelo 01-04-2004 10:42 PM

So you had dinner from there, but not there. Your statement was a bit contridictory.

GK Punk 01-04-2004 10:45 PM

That's why I said I had my friend bring it with her

PizzaPower 01-05-2004 07:38 AM

dman you where colse. Could sombody please post a pic of what the turtles looks like from the BK?

Ninja Tiptup 01-05-2004 04:25 PM

The site is up now

http://www.burgerking.com/turtles/index.aspx

There's pics of the toys.

spikealike 01-05-2004 04:38 PM

Obviously they're aimed at kids, but still, they look a bit 'meh'.

I can't find any pictures :-?

Skeletoncrew 01-05-2004 05:45 PM

Click the toys link.

There are 5 figures and um....April looks pretty stupid. They've made her into a snowboarder, and she comes with a "trick stick". The four turtle figures are all rolling, and Leo's laid out on his back as a "Luge dude". Raph's looks coolest, he's on the bike.

I picked up Mike and Leo today! I think they're rather neat!

I think you need the Shockwave plugin installed, make sure you do then go back to the site.

PizzaPower 01-05-2004 08:08 PM

what do you guys mean? the BK one?

Stone Ill 01-05-2004 09:40 PM

Yeah, I thought that was a little obvious though..

Roseangelo 01-05-2004 10:32 PM

Mike and Leo!

Stone Ill 01-05-2004 10:45 PM

I see they still have the huge skateboard, just like back in the day with the Booboo one..

Roseangelo 01-05-2004 11:07 PM

Well, the reason the skateboard is so large is because there's a fire hydrant that it balances on. If you have it revved up it's supposed to spin, but I haven't been successful in doing that yet.

Stone Ill 01-05-2004 11:17 PM

Yeah, I know, I know. :D

That's why they had it on that Booboo toy. You rev it up and let it go. You could even make do a wheelie. Does anyone else remember this toy? Or the 'Dinosaurs' (TV show) toys? Those were weird. I had a Robby one.

I hate to be the barer of bad news but its quite possible that these BK toys will never come to Australia.

GK Punk 01-06-2004 01:46 AM

Jarrah, you can always try ebay in the next few weeks.
Otherwise maybe people on the board could send you duplicates or something?

Halfshell 01-06-2004 02:58 AM

Duplicates

I'm gonna have duplicates, i have a freind that a General Manager @ a BK, and I can get any dupicates that i want or need.

raphael90 01-06-2004 08:37 AM

toys

Those are kinda cool...not sure if I want to eat at BK five times for them or not.

mikey0 01-07-2004 12:06 PM

When you went to burger king, did they have those pamphlets. Burger king Adventures or something like that. With all of those activities. I usually pick up the toys and the pamphlets.

Roseangelo 01-07-2004 10:31 PM

Yup, I got the Adventures thing. I also have the Adventures book from the Bike Toys from 11 years ago.

Hyper Metal Sonic 02-21-2004 11:44 PM

Does BK serve their kids meal in boxes or bags? Either way, those are good to collect too. I have my Happy Meal box from the Sonic/Sega promotion at McDonalds a few months back.

rayfillet101 02-22-2004 07:41 PM

They come in bags, with raphael on them. The promotion is over tho, they have new fairly odd parent toys now.

Hyper Metal Sonic 02-22-2004 08:00 PM

Yeah, I know. It's been over for a while. I was just stating that info for any future sort or promotions.
