Tournament Fighters 2003 (er 2004)
If they were to remake Tournament Fighters who would you like see fighting?
Here's how i would like to see. -Shredder -The Fab Four (as if they wouldn't be in there -Casey Jones -Triceraton -Razorfist -Hun What storyline? Moves? (like Street FIghter, Mortal Kombat) Style? 2D, 3D Let me know would you would like to see.[/i] |

I think Capcom should make it using the SF 3 or SF Alpha 3 Engine.

Konami would make it and it would either be designed like Street Fighter (like the first game) or Soul Calibur (which would be BEYOND wicked awesome because "the best part about weapons practice is the weapons").
The roster: - Leonardo - Donatello - Raphael - Michelangelo - Splinter - Leatherhead - Rat King - Casey Jones - Aska (from TMNT TF 1 for the SNES) - Hun - Foot Gunner (from the new game) - Baxter in Armor - Triceraton (the one who helped the TMNT escape) - Shredder Secret Characters: - Usagi Yojimbo - Oroku Saki or Oroku Nagi (now there's a twist) - Hamato Yoshi - Karai - Turtle Bot (from the new game, but not so blocky) - Elite Mystic Ninja (a combo of all the mystic ninjas) April and Fugitoid wouldn't be fighters but they would be in the game. No random mutants. Just Leatherhead and the Turtles. |
Ooh I like your Ideas. ('cept I stick by my Street Fighter Alpha 3 statement! Call it a Geek dream, I've always wanted to play a TMNT game using the SF engine, and Alpha 3 was the best Street Fighter game)

Either works, but I think the Soul Calibur engine would work better because the turtles use weapons and a weapons based fighter for the TMNT is the stuff that dreams are made of.

How about Movie Edition?
Use characters from the movies to create this game (Mortal Kombat style, simliar to Street Fighter The Movie did)

Kenshin is a pretty common Samurai name. It's used in lots of Samurai storys. |
I'd like to see this in the style they used in Versus Mode on the game... but here's my ideas:
Make sure there's a Versus Mode, all out brawl mode (maximum 8 players in one battle), Story Mode (one similar to DOA2: Hardcore), Survival mode, maybe a few handicap modes (like watching a 1 on 2 brawl), you definitely need tag team mode, and this game should hold a maximum of 8 players. Heh... We should definitely have this game online, X-Box Live, PS2 Online, GameCube definitely needs some online support (do they have GC Live or anything?). And here are my characters that you originally start out with: Leonardo Raphael Michaelangelo Donatello Splinter Casey Jones Unlockable Characters: Oroku Saki Shredder (you can choose between old school or new school when unlocked) Razorfist Quarry Stonebiter Metalhead (you can choose between old school or new school when unlocked) Supershredder Rocksteady Beebop Krang (w/ body of course) Tokka Rahzar NANO Venus Dragon Lord Baxter Stockman (choice between old school Baxter as a fly or new school Baxter as human in robot) Triceraton The Fugitoid (from Shredder Strikes Back, the one that helped Leonardo) Leatherhead Genghis Rasputin Napolean Attila The reason I added characters not from the new series was so that the ones who only know the new series would be interested in these characters and find out about how the Ninja Turtles were back in the day. I'd have more characters, but with the many I listed, it would be impossible to finish the game. By the way, my idea on unlocking some of these characters was like how Soul Calibur II had Master Weapons mode, just go through maps, face tasks, and unlock these characters. |

They should do a fighting game called TMNT: Tournament Fighter Legends, with characters from several different chapters of TMNT history. If in 2D, it would be, like, awesome, but if they had to make it 3D, they could use a graphics engine similar to DBZ Budokai 2. Anyway, the breakdown (note, I was gonna do 3 Alternates for everyone, but I haven't had my coffee yet, so sue me. I'll come back later and do more):

Here's the basic idea
Need a character, a story why their fighting, the ending. Thinking any foot soldiers wouldn't work due to the all work for shredder and none of them are worthy enough to be a fighter |
Maybe when I get a bit better at Mark Overmars' Game Maker, I'll just go ahead and make a TMNT TF 2004...

if they were to make another tournament fighters, they should definately have all the characters. Every single one, including comic book character, old cartoon, new cartoon, everything. The fighting style, like posted previously, should be like soul calibur 2 type thing.

Well, my character selection would be limited, but it'll be based on the new toon.
