They will go back in time, seeing themselves go from their present teenage states, back to when they were just learning the martial arts, back to their childhood, back to their mutations, and even further, to what or Who created their lifespring of ooze.

Can things get any weirder? Heh, knowing the guys, and seeing what we know spoiler-wise, I dont doubt it one bit!

I just can't wait to see how they deal with shredders past.

This will be the most interesting episode of Season 2 so far, Can't wait!

I"m totally speechless... At least we know part of the answer of Shredder now. He IS part evil Utrom.

Uhh was that utrom shredder. Because i never liked that theory.

I actually do kinda like the theory...

Hmmm, that evil Utrom looks familiar...

All around it was a good episode. It didn't put the emphasis on action, so we got plenty of story in this episode. I thought Stockman would've been bigger, and who is he reporting to when he said "This is Stockman, phase 1 complete. Proceeding to phase 2?"

Can't wait for next episode.

It's not a theory anymore :) Two more weeks until we get the whole story :( This episode was awesome, though.

There is no relation between "him" and the evil utrom, okayyy?
Another question, who was Stockman talking to?

BTW, the whole Shredder being an Utrom didn't seem cool at first, but now it doesn't seem to bad after watching this episode.

well... its actually got me thinking. About this theory. Yeah, they had the evil utrom, but then they had that shredder figure that bashed Mike across the room. I'm thinking...


Shredder is not an utrom. An utrom is Shredder. Shredder lived centuries ago, and ends up meeting the evil utrom. they seem to get along with the aspect of killing the other utroms, and work a lil together, kinda like shredder and Baxter present time. What happens is, the evil Utrom learns from the shredder, maybe taking his memories or something. then, when he's strong enough, he destroys the true shredder, and fashions his suit and such to look like the shredder we know now.


Nifty... :D

To touch up on Banshees post. Maybe this will hit a full circle back to the original show, and Shredder is still in cahoots with this Utrom. That folks would make it like the old Shredder/Krang team-up. 8)

Anythings a possibility. Of course I'm not meaning it should be like the old show, but that being, it would have some similarities.

Shredder can't say that he met them before. This is still a virtual reality simulation. Baxter just turned off the safeties and made it real. Well, we got some of our answers that were left from the first season. We know that Shredder's now an evil Utrom. And that they crashed in Feudal Japan and that's where he first rose to power and formed the original Foot Clan. Can't wait for next week, hopefully the Guardians make their apperance to stop the Foot Soldiers and send Shredder packing. As for who Baxter's talking too...hmm, tough call. We'll have to wait and see. :)

As soon as I saw the evil utrom, I thought about him being that. We just don't know about the Shredder we saw today. I like the theory Banshee posted. But I think it's safe to say that the Shredder that we've seen before in the new toon is that evil utrom. So I'm now wondering if he actually put the armor over his human exoskeleton or if they are two completely separate bodies. I can't ever recall Shredder ever having his helmet off and seeing his human head underneath or anything like that.

In one of the Shredder Strikes/Back episodes, he takes off his helmet while wearing the armour.

Maybe Baxter is making a note to himself?

Your right. Now that you said that I remember that.

Shredder removes his helmet and shows his face in 'The Shredder Strikes pt. 2'. And from the design sketches, it says he puts the armor on over the regular suit. One more thing we got answered, why the Utrom Council speaks with a unified voice and none of the other Oots do. They're the three Navigators. :)

Good episode, even if it was a little light on the action this week. I don't mind a Utrom being Shredder, it actually explains alot, and it's a good method of keeping him alive for long amounts of time, plus ancient Shredder was wicked :D Was it just me, or was there more commercials than normal? Seems like every 5 minutes there was another break

I liked the Alien reference in the episode. "Wait, I've seen this movie before. Are aliens going to start popping out of our chests?"

The whole virtual reality thing kind of reminded me of the Matrix. Especially how Mikey gets hurt in it and it effects him in real life. Still a good episode although but it pisses me off that we had to wait a month for it.

The fact Mikey went down to that one punch kinda bothered me...did Baxter tweek the controlls that much? Or did someone forgot that the turtles have all fought with and taken hits from the Shredder before without being that wounded...AND the shell for goodness sakes. Ah well...I liked the episode, was very good after all that waiting. The Mikey stuff just kinda pissed me off... I really do hope they were trying to play it off as him making an attempt at humor... -.- I did like that scene with Mikey and the guy doing his sword katas though.

Heh I think I actualy got my dad to shut up for today. On that talk of laws between Mortu and Donny my mom teased me about how 'educational' the show was. Dad asked what the hell she was saying and she told him. He said it was more like a waste of time and money. She replied that it wasn't a waste of SOMEONE'S time and money because they were getting rich off of it. Then I said as calmly as possible so he couldn't think he'd pissed me off, "Yeah, and it's no more a waste than your John Wayne stuff and you don't see me saying anything about that....diffrent stuff just appeals to diffrent people." He actualy shut up O.o FINALLY. I think I did the impossible.

My family & I take shots at each other all the time. Jokes directed at my mom usually envolve the Wizard of Oz, my dad & Simpsons, my sister & Buffy, and me & Star Wars/ Turtles. We've learned to accept each other--and poke fun at each other at the same time.

A bit off topic, but I didn't want to make a whole new thing for this:

Did anyone see the commercial about April? From the FoxBox files, like on the DVD? It was cool. Showed how she helps them out and all, saving them and her knowledge of gadgets. Seems she also helped with the Battle Shell, adding a few things. Putting her 'woman's touch' in it. :) How cute.

And Donnie narrated it. :D How fitting, I think...

..but i'm thinkin'..as far as Shredder goes.. the secrets not in SAKI himself..

.. but in the Red Utrom ..& the Armour.. is that what everyone else is thinkin' ??

..Maybe Saki..is the 'host' of the Armor.. and the Armor in turn.. keeps Saki.. immortal.. maybe the red Utrom is 'one' with the armor.. like the other Utroms are one with whatever..

If one looks at the descriptions of the upcomming episodes of the "City at War" storyline one would see it it is likely that Stockman is working for those mafia guys from "Lone Raph and Lone Cub."

everybody still is denying the fact that shredder is a utrom?!?!?!?!? are you guys that . . . blind? it was obviously him. he even had a helmet sort of thing on his utrom 'brain' body. if that wasn't a give away, i don't know what was. all he did was put the shredder suit on top of his exoskeleton (just like the first one did when he had the test run. the only difference is that shredder's 'disguise' was better).

and was it just me or was that shredder suit in the museum in "Darkness on the Edge of Town"?

oh, and for the record i kinda like the way this is heading :)

I think we're over analizing the Saki aspect. There may be an actual Oroku Saki that the 'Evil Utrom' kills and takes his idenity. Perhaps he's not even a bad guy, we'll probably get our answers before things are finished. After all the first one answered a lot of questions. And we have two more episodes to go for our answers. And Part 3 has Shredder himself showing up. So I'm sure he'll rant off on several things to explain all these things. We'll probably learn that Hamato Yoshi was the decendant of a Guardian or actually was a Guardian himself. But from what I can tell so far, the Utroms never realized that Shredder is the Evil Utrom.

..really.. follow me on this.. i think the Armour and Shredder are in a symbiote.. like Spider Man's 'Venom' character.. ..

..Saki himself is human.. but the Armour is of the Red utrom.. it has to be.. maybe the red guy died and beacme one with the armour.. guess we won't know til' next week.. whatever the case.. after the Baxter spider.. i'm just..floored.. .. oi..

No. We have the concept art. We have the episode that proves it. We need to just let go of any thoughts of Saki being human. He's not. That's why we saw his abdomen bandaged in 'Darkness on the Edge of Town'. That's why he was able to hold the sword of Tengu without being electrocuted it like everyone else. Even Splinter who was a master couldn't weild it without it burning his handpaws. Saki is the evil Utrom, the Shredder is Saki. There is no grand conspiracy. Forget all you know about the Mirage, Archie, Movie, or Old Toon Shredder. This is the new version, and he is what he is.

Maybe V-Splinter is right..

in the ep DARKNESS ON THE EDGE OF TOWN You know that other shredder like suit the foot finds in the water using the sword of tengu The suit mikey calles barnacle bill I wonder If that will Be explained in the secret orgin eps

The suit wasn't red, just the Utrom. :)
