Turtles & April.
 

Have anyone of you ever imagined April and a TMNT get together? Maybe even have sex? Ask me I've always thought Don and April would make a good couple, they both share the same personality. They both have that techno mojo as Mikey would call it. I mean Donatello invented the Battle Shell, Turtle Vision goggles, etc, etc, and April helped Baxter build his mouser robots and helped the turtles get into Stocktronics, TCRI and the Foot tower. I've always thought Donny would make a better boyfriend than Casey.

I'm assuming you're talking about the new April, in which case I'd say nobody. The turtles are another species and Casey is just a tad too old for her for it to look normal. The only realistic and normal couple in the cartoon would be old cartoon April with Casey. Nothing else would look right. The writers of TMNT1 weren't stupid.

Hmm.... Wow. See, I always thought that April and Donnie would be a cute couple. But, even if they never got together, I enjoy the little hints, the infatuation they make allusions to. I always thought it to be an interesting (and enjoyable) touch.

Not that I don't like Casey, though. It could just be that, in real life, I'm way more attracted to Donnie types. :wink:

See, I could go into a big spiel here about this whole debate, and discuss both for and against Casey and for or against Don. But to forego that whole discussion, and just going by who I think the better boyfriend would be... I'd have to say Don.

But, like I said: That could just be me. :)

I always think of the first movie when I think of a love connection between April and the Turtles. Leonardo, I don't think so...I don't think he ever showed any real interest in April. Donnie and Mikey did obviously like her, but it was that kind of silly flirtatous stuff. Mikey maybe would work with April, he was always making her laugh. But I gotta go with Raphael and maybe I'm biased (I probably am), but I think he secretly liked her...I don't know for some reason I think I like him best with her. However, they are different species...I don't really see anything beyond a limited relationship possible.

Casey woulda made a nice match for her...too bad they dropped that line after the first movie.

Well, in the new cartoon, Don and April have a bond that could easily turn into something more, if it weren't for several factors. The most important being age and species. Casey's her best match, in most universes.

In the movies, there was "something" between her and Raph, but it never panned out, probably for the reasons it wouldn't work with Don. (Doesn't keep me from writing fics, though.)

Leo and Mike, not a chance. Personalities just don't mix. Same with Venus, if either of them were into that. (And to be honest, I think Vee's a little too "spiritually evolved" to let a little thing like gender get in the way of love.)

Yeah, I never expect her to actually get together with one of the TMNT, because of a few reasons. But I think it's things like her bond with Don that could turn into more, but most likely won't, that make it all a little more interesting. It adds a bit of angst to it all... adds a little more depth.

Yep, doesn't stop me from writing them, either. Or from reading them. :)

IMO I think it would be kinda weird. All 4 of em like April in one way or another, and for one of em to actually have her for himself... that would make the other 3 feel weird. It's like, when kids are growin up, there's always a girl that's like.. 'one of the guys' and you all hang with her and stuff, you all secretly check her out and blah blah, then you feel weird cause now one of your buddies finally bagged her and you're all left with nada.

I think Don and April make a good team. They both have great skills with electronics.

I don't really understand the whole ninja turtles having sex with humans, or any other animal having sex with humans... it's just not something that is a turn on for me.

Some people might think I am a furry, because of a character I have with catlike traits-- eyes ears and nose. No fur.... just those traits and some animalistic biology but it only works with humans so she could only mate with humans. I do not consider myself a furry... I don't particularly like furry art... most of it, anyways.

I read some written erotica about Raph doing it with some stripper (while Raph wasn't mentioned you knew it was him) and while it was an interesting read, I just... couldn't see how it is sexy or why anyone would wanna bang a giant turtle. And then someone draws or writes about the turtles doing each other which is even more weird because they're brothers...

If anything I think April should be with Shredder before she's with a Turtle or any other mutant. It just doesn't.... click.

Raph + Casey = best TMNT yaoi pair so far, but yaoi and TMNT just don't go together for me.

Back on topic: I think April just needs to just settle down with a nice Utrom boy.

I read a fanfic (and I'm not gonna mention the name just in case she doesn't want me to) that made me think. In it, April says that people thought her and Casey would get together. But she was having thoughts that maybe her only attraction to him was that he was the only other person who shared the knowledge of the TMNT with her. Kinda made me think... I know it doesn't hold true for all the TMNT universes, but it was interesting just the same. :)

Note: I have nothing against Casey at all... I just thought this was interesting.

Exactly my thinking. I can't think of the TMNT as "animals". They are sentient. And would (in a good case) be completely consenting.

Well yah they are part human, although they do not look human-- not their faces or torso's anyways...

Also the way it's been described how they pull out their member is just how a turtle would too... the whole idea sorta freaks me out lol... interesting nonetheless. I don't like, shun it or anything.

Lots of people get really freaked by it and offended to the point of being disgusted entirely, therefore shunning all forms of anthro/furry art and people involved, which I think is ridiculous and close minded.
To each their own... some people think my cartoon character is gross being a very small part cat, and also may think my fascination with Shredder is ****ed up so heh.

Seriously though,I don't think an April/Turtle pairing would work.While I don't think it could be considered beastiality because as someone pointed out the Turtles would be consenting.The problem would lie with compatibility.Humans and reptiles are very different creatures.I don't think it would be possible for a turtle,even a humanoid one,to successfully mate with a human.

didnt they mate a spider with a goat once? my friend told me that probably not true, the human dna might mess up the animal one youd get a messed up turtle thingay if it even worked

By the time April and whichever TMNT she chose actually settled down, got more serious and started pondering the possibilty of being able to have a child or not, they woulda done the deed a few times already. It's damned common sense people.

O_O This is all brilliant inspiration for a new fanfic... Since the episode would likely be too controversial (tho it's not like the shows haven't been controversial so far), I may as well take a stab at it. Like the majority of people here, I think Donnie's a perfect match for April. And, this makes my task easier since I can relate to Don's insecurities. He is pretty much a gobo with different interests. ^_^ ... Please don't tell the definition A_Turtle gave my name, Karpo007, Deathknight, and any other IRC friends I got in here. Thankies... ^_^
