Taloniss 02-12-2004 04:43 PM

Commentaries by anyone?

Ninja Turtles Cartoon Fan 02-12-2004 05:15 PM

Why did you want to release "The Epic Begins" instead of all the Season 1 episodes in full?

1. Do you plan on releasing the next mutation on DVD?
2. Are the eps going to have better sound and picture quilaty?

Roseangelo 02-12-2004 06:11 PM

Is there anyway I can bribe you not to put the Season 10 episodes on the Season 1 disc? I'll give you an extra $10 if you put all of Season 10 on one disc (and I didn't even like most of Season 10!!)!

Disney own the rights to The Next Mutation episodes. If you want it on DVD you'll have to contact them. Good luck...

Roseangelo 02-13-2004 12:14 AM

Since when did Disney own it?

Tetsu Deinonychus 02-13-2004 12:25 AM

Saban owned it, and I think Disney bought Saban.

Jarrah White 02-13-2004 04:07 AM

That's how I understand it.

PizzaPower 02-13-2004 08:24 AM

well I don't really care for the next mutation, but I would like to watch them again.

Jarrah White 02-13-2004 01:23 PM

Also, will TMNT: SuperMan Legend be released worldwide?

If you launch them from a dam.

Roseangelo 02-13-2004 05:50 PM

Does it matter? There's a perfectly good DVD on eBay right now.

PizzaPower 02-14-2004 11:55 AM

no, but you can get a rash from the salt water on the beach, because I have had it done to me.

Reznorite420 02-14-2004 11:56 AM

Thanks for the not-needed info.

Orochi Chimera 02-14-2004 05:33 PM

If Disney does own the rights to the Next Mutation then maybe they will put it on the Disney channel.

They really don't need any other bad shows on there. Trust me, they have plenty as it is.

Deathknight 02-15-2004 08:44 PM

I don't think that a show like the Next Mutation will ever see a DVD release considering how bad it did.

Agreed, used to like Disney channel, then everything on there just started getting major league cheesy, i.e. Disney original movies. :dead:

Take a look at the DVD section in any store, there are tons of "bad" shows and movies out on DVD, simply because there's a large enough fan base.

Orochi Chimera 02-16-2004 01:40 PM

Was the Next Mutation that bad? Is it worse than most of the crap currently on the Disney channel? I haven't seen much of the show and what little I did see of it I don't remember to well.

The Next Mutation was... unique. You either loved it or you hated it. Most TMNT fans hated it because it was very corny and added a lot to the universe they didn't like (like a fifth, female turtle).

But for all it's shortcomings, I liked it.

Ninja Tiptup 02-16-2004 02:31 PM

The Next Mutation should be on Jetix. Surely Disney knows how popular TMNT have become lately. One could wonder why they haven't taken advantage of that fact. If they make another TMNT movie I can almost guarentee you that Disney will release some of TNM on DVD and VHS like they did with the Marvel series.

Deathknight 02-16-2004 03:43 PM

Well, if I ever get the next mutation episodes for whatever reason I'll encode them for you. Anyway, here are my questions.
1. Is there going to be any sort of interviews with any of the old show writers and if so who?
2. With the "unaired" episodes from season 10, why didn't you choose some of the good episodes from season 10 such as the 3 parter where Shredder and Krang came back?
3. With future releases, how are you planning on splitting up larger seasons of episodes such as season 3?

Ace Duck 02-16-2004 05:46 PM

In the episode "Hot Rodding Teenagers From Dimension X", will the Technodrome still be parked underneath the two towers of the "Global Trade Center"?

Reznorite420 02-16-2004 06:17 PM

Better yet:

Will the episode "Enter The Fly" even be released since it mentions the WTC at the very beginning?

Ace Duck 02-16-2004 06:24 PM

Maybe they should hold off on these episodes until the new "World Trade Center" with the 1776-foot-tall spire is built.

I'd say that is an interesting question. Maybe that shouldn't be asked because if that is brought to their attention they might go out of their way to edit that episode. I'm sure its no secret but they might not be thinking in the same mindset as companies were back when that happened. But it has been sometime since all of that happened.

Questions to ask:

1.Do they plan on bringing every episode/season out on DVD?

2.Will every episode that comes out on DVD be uncut/complete?

3.Can you rent/lend me all of the master tmnt tapes just for a little while?

While I am kidding with the last question, I think question 1 and 2 are very important.

Still if question number 3 were possible it would be pretty sweet. :D
