Favorite Kind of Music
What kind of music do yall listen to?
Hmm... I listen to all kinds of music. Rock, R&B, rap, pop, even VG music. It's hard for me to choose a favorite. :embarass:
Everything /cept for Rap, classical and Jazz... *gag*
I pretty much like everything except for Rap and Heavy/Death Metal stuff. If you can even call that music.
Hmmmmm......difficult question to answer.... I listen to just about everything, as long as it has a good beat and awsome lyrics!
kakaka rock, heavy, power ehhe ahaha and rock nacional siiiiiiii el de argentina loco vamooooooooooooo argentina akakkaka.
i listen to everything but country, unless it's the dixie chicks. i'm not crazy about metal, but i can dig it sometimes.
ehhehe ac/dc rules i love i think is one of my favourite bands.
I listen mostly to Rock and metal music anything from Bon Jovi to Guns N Roses. But I do have a nice CD of Zen music which I use to relax to
The kind of music i like is Rock Alternative, some death metal, punk, heavy metal. Stuff like that..... :D
i also love bruce springsteen.
Rock all the way! Favorites are Metallica and the Police
Everything. Some classical (I blame my dad, he plays the classical guitar), a little rap, a few country groups, Broadway musicals...everything.
My favorite though is stuff like Pink, New Found Glory, Green Day, Good Charlotte, etc. *Neat fact I read on someone's website: Green Day originally wanted to call themselves the Ninja Turtles! Back when the TMNT were still on TV, the members of the band would all get together, order pizza, and watch TMNT. They called this day they got together, Green Day.* |
Rock on Snow White. Good charlotte is cool. I don't really like Pink that much but the only song I like from her is "Your just like a pill." I didn't know Green Day did that........ :o
Yeah, "You're Just Like a Pill" is an awesome song. One of my best friends got a back stage pass type thing to Warped Tour and got to meet and take pictures with Good Charlotte. Why I don't have that kind of good luck, I shall never know.
I can't remember whose site the Green Day thing was on. But I'll try to find out. I salute them for their good taste in TV shows. *salutes* |
David Bowie is my all-time favorite, closely followed by Pink Floyd, U2, Queen, Roger Waters, Paul Simon...etc etc etc
I loved Bowie in "Labyrinth!" :D
Lesee, I also have a newish CD of Maori music. its Native to New Zealand...Awesome stuff. Its called Oceania, and i got it from The discovery Channel store, if anyone's ever interested... |
I was listening to my Labyrinth soundtrack the whole time I was online last night!
:D |
lucky! We have the original record album at home...I loved the group that was kicking around their bidy parts when singing. The main singer was Kevin Klash, the guy who did Splinter's voice! :D
that, and The magic Dance, and the song from her dream... :D Underground too, of course! |
"As the World Falls Down" is my favorite! That scene spawned my love of masks!
I absolutely LOVED her dress...I always had a dream that i'd have a room and stuff just like her...I was like three(?) at the time...
I was about 8. I wish I'd gotten some of the merchandise back then. I have a few books and a poster now, but they cost me! :)
i like classical, classical pop, jazz, old school raps, 80's rock and any songs related to turtles.
we didn't start the fire it was always burning since the world's been turning we didn't start the fire no we didn't light it but we tried to fight it |
I like listening to all electronic dance music, Nothing mainstream, Just Techno, Trance, And House music. :)
music?
Just about anything except twangy country or gangsta rap. New rock, classic rock, heavy metal, house, trance, 80s rap, alternative, heck, even some boybands and top 40 stuff. There are some lousy bands out there, but even they can have a good song once in a while (And Labryinth rocked!) |
*sits in her chair, grooving to her Billy Joel "storm front' CD...*
will
everything exept Heavy/Death Metal ... but most of the time it's Will Smith and some marky mark...
oh... by the way... have ya heard war - low rider? it's a great song! it's in that gone in 60s movie... |
My brother got me into a little of the semi-diso stuff...Low Rider being one of them...I also like music to Drive by... Van Halen, Quiet Riot, ACDC, Filter, anything... ;)
i used to be ONLY heavy metal/Hard rock, yet since i was forced to listern to old music, i now only listern to musicc from 60-early 90's. The Beatles are easily the greatest band i have ever heard by far and there more than 40 years old.
You were forced to listen to old music?
yes
i like rock and metal....like metallica, dimmu borgir, blind guardian, also pink floyd, the doors, slayer, iron maiden, deadsy, adema, sum 41, gob, gwar, arch enemy....lots of metal and rock! :D
Do you know any certain songs to download that is good metal music like Arch Enemy?
Hmmm...can't say I do. Sorry!
Ooooo! Oldies! I can't believe I forgot that! Those are truly the greatest! And also my favorite music to listen to in the car. That, and anything else I can sing really loudly with all the windows rolled down. I usually only know, like, half the words plus the chorus, so I make the rest up. |
LOL!! I love trying to adlib lyrics. It's funny whenever I find out how wrong I am. :goofygri:
I like all sorts of music:
Pop, Country, R&B, classical, and jazz are some of my favorites. But my all-time favorite has got to be orchestral. I cannot get enough of film scores, for example. The score for "Forrest Gump" is fantastic. So is the score for "Saving Private Ryan" and "Apollo 13" and "Dinosaur" and "Field of Dreams." Film scores are what I collect mostly. Orchestral music just moves me in a way that Pop and Country can't. There's a feeling and an intensity there that pop stars just don't have. "The only way to get at the bottom of this is from the top. We're gonna join Big Louie's mob!" - Leonardo, from "The Big Cufflink Caper!" |

Oh, what do I like? Well, I guess nobody has guessed from looking at my username by now: my favorite music group/artist is definitely Nine Inch Nails ("Reznorite" comes from Trent Reznor, the mastermind behind NIN). But in general, I'm a big industrial fan, which includes but isn't limited to the following: Skinny Puppy Ministry Das Ich (I believe) On the other hand, I have a somewhat eclectic taste. I have MP3s of the following artists on my computer: Nine Inch Nails Metallica Eiffel 65 Devo Information Society Kid Rock MC Hammer (just "This is What We Do") Soft Cell Technotronic ZZ Top There's also a few buned CDs I have with even more, but that I won't get into. One kind of music I really like, however, is stuff done independently. That mostly comprises of modern video game music, but who cares? |
i prefer musics i can hum to rather than singing.
i don't like the ringing. |
Rock music is my favorite, I'm a huge U2 fan, after that it would be alternative dance and chillout music(Boards of Canada) and also 80's, I love music from that era, Duran Duran, Level 42.
Forgot to mention 80s as well...
