Splinter's Vacation
 

((Okay, I dunno whether this will work or not, but I think Splinter needs a vacation! The poor rat is soon to be going bald with all the stresses we put him through in our RPGs! So here's another RPG...rules are, Splinter must not be given any migraines. Let the guy have a good time! Do whatever the heck you want to everyone else, just let Splinter have his relaxation.))

*Splinter has called his 4 sons into his study. They are nervously waiting before him*

Sp: I've asked you here to let you know that I'll be going on a vacation. I'll be gone for at least two weeks. I hope that you will conduct yourselves appropriately during my absence.

((but its so much FUN!!!))

*snicker* so much for that...

(( :lol: Behave appropriately? That'll be the day. Wonder how many are planning a party right now? Hey SC, can Splinter have a migraine when he comes back?))

((I don't see why not. His vacation is to get away from it all, not to change it all so when he gets back it will be better.))

Leo *gulps*: A vacation Master Splinter?

Sp: Yes, I need some time to myself. Time to relax and enjoy life. ~And to get away from you 4 before I go bonkers.~

Raph: So who's in charge while you're gone?

Sp: You're all old enough to know how to behave, I see no need to put any of you in charge.

TC: *listening through the door* ooooh... heh heh... splinter without the distraction of his sons... *snickers and sneaks off into the sewers, formulating a plan*

((OKay, I'm tossing myself into the story because I'm not sure how else to give Splinter a vacation. Lets also assume there's no direct relationship between this thread and ATFT.))

Mike: ~Sweet! Two weeks of no Splinter and Leo can't do a thing about it!~ Don't worry Sensei, we won't let you down!

Sp: I'm sure everything will be fine. All I ask is that you keep up your practice, and be sure to at least clean before I get back.

Don: Where exactly are you going?

Sp: Well, Skeletoncrew apparently has a nice secluded place. She's invited me to stay with her. She should be here soon to pick me up.

Leo: Skeletoncrew? Are you sure that's a good idea Master?

Sp: I don't see why not. She's a nice young lady.

Leo: Well its just that, she's a little, oh how should I put this? Lusty.

*The other turtles snort and supress laughter*

Sp *raising an eyebrow*: Are you implying that she may be a danger to my virtue?

Absolutely! *quickly covers mouth, trying to hide her grin*

Sp *slight glare*: I can assure you that I'm quite impervious to the wiles of young women.

Not from what I know....*slinks away to the next room*

*Enters the lair* Hey Machias! Is Splinter ready?

*shrugs* I dunno...you'd better not get him drunk...I've still got the pics and stuff from the first time, which he still doesnt know about... *gives SC a dubious look*

*Laughs* Oh, don't worry about Splinter! I'm not going to coerce him into doing anything he doesn't want to! I'm just gonna give him the run of my house, grounds, and library. We may take a couple of small side trips as well, it all depends upon what he wants to do.

*Splinter and the others enter the room* Sp: Ah, hello Skeletoncrew!

Hi Splinter! Are you all set?

Sp: Yes, I do believe I am. Leonardo and Donatello, would you be kind enough to take my bags out to the car?

Leo/Don: Of course.

Did you remember to pack your swimsuit?

*runs in carrying a small box*

Here Splinter. It's a coming home present. So, don't open it until you are on your way back home. *steps back and grins*

Don: *as they carry Splinters bags* Do we know her?

Leo: Yea. Thats Terran. She's usually a spectator.

*groan* I sense impending doom... :roll:

I resent that! Unlike some people I don't burn imaginary friends!

Sp *gives Machias a funny look*: Yes I did.

Mike: Do you have a pond or a pool?

I have a pool, jacuzzi, sauna, and several bathtubs large enough for two! I'm a bit of a water fiend.

yeah, a fiend about other peop--things as well... :P

*Glares at Machias* Well, if you're ready, we should get going. Its a bit of a drive.

Sp: Certainly. *Turns to his students* I hope you will do well in my absense, please don't burn the place down. *smiles slightly*

Don't worry sensei, we'll make sure they don't. *smirks*

((BTW, I'll be leaving for Portland in the morning, so I won't be posting again until Friday night at the earliest. Feel free to play with this thread while I'm gone.))
They'll probably just singe the place slightly.

*Splinter sighs and they turn to leave*

Oh! I almost forgot, here's my home #, and my cellphone # in case you need to get ahold of us! *Holds out a piece of paper*

*reads*

1-800-RAT-LOVE?!?!?!

Machias! *acting indignant* The other side is blank!

Sp *rubbing his temples*: I think I feel another headache coming on.

*quieter* Besides, thats the number for a rat supply catalog.

YOure out to get him, i know it! *sigh* Fine...Now i wonder what is gonna happen here...I dont like the fact that someone's not in charge...It's bound to become chaotic...

*Looks aghast* Out to get him? Me? What are you insinuating?

Sp: Do you really want me to put someone in charge? If you insist, I will.

Mike: Nope.

Raph: No!

I just have this BAD feeling that as soon as you leave, Raph and Leo will be at each others throats...

No they won't! *grins* Because I'M gonna be at Raph's throat! *kisses Raph*

great...first a free-for-all, now a toga party...

((I've got to go to bed. Splinter and I will get on the road now.))

*Raph snorts*

Leo: We will NOT.

Sp: Fine then. If it will make you feel better, Kali is in charge. *Waves SC out the door* See you in a few weeks! *Waves and closes the door behind him.

NOo!!!!! *falls over onto the ground, groaning*

*waits until Splinter is gone, then* Yes! Whoo hoo! I promise to be a fair and kind ruler.

*everyone else glares at her*

I think I'm going back to being just a spectator.

Leo: Can I go with you?

Bye! See you in a couple of days!
 

*Gets into the car with Splinter* Kali? Do you think that was a good idea?

Sp: Well, there's no way I was putting Raphael or Michaelangelo in charge; Donatello hates being in charge; and I think Leonardo needs a break as much as I do. Of course, it will probably grate at him that he's not in charge. Machias would clash with Raphael, and of course she hasn't yet proven herself capable of such responsibility. Kali is a fairly sensible young woman, and I don't think Raph would cross her. She'll do fine.

I suppose so. I'm sure everything will be fine.

*Starts driving.*

Sp: I wonder why Machias was so distressed that I was going to vacation at your place?

*Shrugs* I really don't know.

((Geez, thanks a LOT you two... *hmph* :P ))

That's it, i'm moving out to the woods. I dont wanna be here when they return and find the place burnt down...

This place is NOT going to be burnt down. If I want fire, I'll take a trip back home. No, it's staying nice and cool here. Right guys? *eyes flash black*

Raph: Yeah, sure, we'll be cool.

Don: Yeah, don't worry.

*appears* Splinter already leave?

*Machias gets up off the ground, dusting herself off.*

Yeah. Okay...what do we do now?

*just leans against the wall* Don't ask me. You guys are the ones who live here, not me.

*folds arms* Well, Kali's in charge, so we have to do her bidding now...

*shrugs* Well, it can't be any worse than Splinter. But then, I don't live here so I really don't know what you guys do when I'm not around. :roll:

Well, its not too bad. We all get up, have breakfast, practice, have lunch, and then we just chill for the afternoon...sometimes we have an evenig practice, but not a lot of times. I just hope she doesnt give Raph free reign, cuz then I'd have to be restrained from kiling him...
