Street Sharks/TMNT crossover
 

I've heard of this, can anyone conferm it? Anyone know where I can find it?

Never happened as far as I know. There was a Extreme Dinosaurs/Street Shark crossover that lasted several episodes.

Worse- who's the guy yhat actually gives these ideas the thumbs-up and lets them be on tv?

The only bad thing about Street Sharks, I thought, was that it was an obvious rip-off of TMNT. Right down to the obsession over a populay food item (TMNT=pizza, SS=burgers).

As for Extreme Dinosaurs, the name sounds familiar. I just can't place my finger on it. Time to go to Google.

I'm 90% sure there was a TMNT/SS Crossover. They appeared on a SS episode and I remember the turtles cruising off in the Party Wagon at the end of the episode. I'm searching the net trying to find the episode to confirm it right now.

I tried to watch an episode of Street Sharks but I couldn't sit through the whole thing. At the very least, the action figures were cool (especialy the puppet ones!).

Maybe they had some spoof turtles appear in the video. Ya know, to poke fun at TMNT for whatever reason?

And yes, the figures were cool.

I have every epsiode of Street Sharks, the crossover I'm SURE happened, but my tapes are soooooooooooo freaking old

kinda off subjest but i hardly remember street sharks.....i know i had a fig thopugh....but being A TMNT fan-boy i made him as Armagon, u know the mutant shark from the archie comics and the turnament fighters video game....that's it....no other street sharks memories what so ever....

Was it old school turtles or cartoon versions of the NM ones?

Give me a break Jarrah, it was the ORIGINAL versions, the animated N.M Turtles will forever remain JUST an idea on paper, not reality.

This, I must see. The action figures kicked ass and I loved the show.

And Biker Mice from Mars had hot dogs and Sonic the Hedgehog had chili dogs...

I did find out the Live action turtles and the powerrangers had a cross over.

Street sharks and TMNT would not have a crossover, trust me. Mattel made street sharks and Playmates made TMNT not to mention the animation companies were different. It's like saying the chicago bears played the chicago cubs in a game of football (or baseball) just because they're both similar names (both chicago both some sort of bear). Wow I think that one worked out better than I had planned :)

Simply put, it would be like sleeping with the enemy!

I dunno... I'm sure the Street Sharks wouldn't mind a night or two with April O'Neil...

No it never happened.

Street Sharks and Extreme Dinosaurs were both made by DIC that's why that crossover happened.

Yeah,agree with what you guys are saying about Street Sharks being TMNT-rip-offs,but hey so were the Biker Mice.

I'm not a fan of the Biker Mice,but Street Sharks have grown on me a lot since I found some of the figures last year at a flea market.

I've since found cartoon eps on VHS too,so it's all good. I've been a TMNT fan on and off since the beginning of the old toon in '88{except for the NM period..I totally missed that one,save for the crossover w/the Power Rangers},but I kinda enjoy The Sharks just as much for some reason.

I actually bought a Street Sharks DVD from amazon.com (or half.com) through an independent person (you know how they have those buy it new or used things) and they never sent it to me, even though I got billed the $15 (or so). I totally agree, I'm not a big fan of Street Sharks but if it's on tv (which it never is) i'll watch it :)

I thought it was pretty cool that Matt Hill (Raphael's voice actor from The Next Mutation) also played Jabs the hammerhead in the Street Sharks show...

Me, too, Jo Dawn. And I read a thread on the Biker Mice-related Red Planet Messageboard that Rick Unger (the creator/owner of the BMFM) is DEFINITELY trying to bring The Bros back to TV, and is working hard at it. He's working on financing and some other stuff now, along with some other folks, and GET THIS!!! He wants DEFINITE output from US, the fans, to get a good idea of what we might want in a new BMFM series, updated for the 21st Century! So keep your fingers crossed! He's even hoping to get the ORIGINAL cast back together for it!
