A thought about Tales of the TMNT Volume 2.

Since Peter Laird has made it so that image's volume three in which the turtles are nineteen did not take place in the normal continuity. And he has been releasing the second volume of Tales of the TMNT in which they are nineteen also. Could Tales of the TMNT volume two be a substitute for volume three maybe?

This could also mean that the Shredder may stay on for the rest of the saga then as the main villain.

What would give you that impression? The Shredder/Shark/Octopus/Worm Clone monster will appear in two Tales issues. That's all.
