Utroms In the Old Show?!?!

Yes, I know Old-toon Krang wasn't an Utrom, but I just thought of something.

"Invasion of the Krangezoids" showed what Krang looked like when he still had a body. But another episode showed scientists that worked for Krang, but they also had Bubblewalkers and did NOT look like Krang's clones. Now, we have attributed this to a continuity glitch, but I have another theory.

Maybe, those Scientists were NOT Krang's species at all! Maybe, they were Utroms that Krang enslaved or tricked!

BTW (Hi, I'm back everybody)

That IS a possible theory. Hmmm. Makes you think.

Thank you! I knew that happened in an episode, I just couldn't remember the title for hte life of me or what Krang even looked like (it's been 10 years, gimme a break).

So...what did he look like again?

I'd be interested to know, I've only seen Season 1 and pieces of the next two.

He looked like a dinosaur type creature with tentacles protruding from his head which were kraangs arms in his brain form. H walked like a T-Rex if I remember correctly and could have had a tail.

Anyone got pics of Kraangs scientists? I Can't remember those guys at all.

Or... it could just be the episodes in question were extremely poorly written.

You will notice that one of those "utrom scientists" had a gray moustache, for Buddha's sake. It shouldn't be taken seriously.

Or he's a big fan of "Carry on Sergeant" :D

(Could I get a Screen-cap of that?)

Wasn't really supposed to be taken seriuously, but hey, It's possible.(BTW it's been awhile since I've seen either ep. Anyone have a pic of the scientist with the mustache?

Utrom prisoners? Now that would've been an interesting story in the original cartoon!

Welcome back, Tetsu

Jarrah White 07-13-2004 03:13 PM

Yeah, I was wondering where you were.

Tetsu Deinonychus 07-13-2004 07:25 PM

Had so many projects, personal problems, and financial problems that I kinda slipped out of the online community for a bit. But, even though they're still not solved, I've got things under-control enough to take a net-break more often.

Anyway, while I was half-joking with this thread. I'm starting to think we might be onto something. TMNT Old-toon had so many writers, it's possible one or two of them was a Mirage fan, and figured an Utrom cameo might make for a cool Mirage reference in the show.
