Has anyone here seen...

The Rainbow Studios CGI pilot for the TMNT? I've looked at the screens for it and thought it looked creepy, I just don't like the idea of CGI animation like that. It didn't look good to me yet I'd still like to see it. I know it's on the official site but it won't open for me, so I was wondering if anyone here has seen it. And if so, what did you think of it? If anyone has seen it could you please post a summery of what it was about too? Plus if anyone has larger screen for it could you post em, the ones on the site are tiny! :D
Sorry if I'm being a pain in the arse about this  .

If it's the one I think you're talking about, then I thought it was really cool. Not sure how I would have liked a whole series done in that style, though. If you want to look at it, try saving it to your computer (right click, save). It's worth the download. Also, the screenshots on the official site do open to a larger version if you click on them.

For a rough pilot I though it was really good. Nice designs and smooth animation. I used to have a detailed summary on my site but I deleted it a long time ago.

Yeah I felt the same about it. I think maybe a mini series or a movie would have been really cool in the CGI style. but I do prefer the new series' old fashion animation style.

I e-mailed Rainbow Studios and asked if they'd ever put it on DVD, I know it's unlikely but it's worth asking. I was thinking of saving it on a CD-R but I don't know if that'll work or not.

I never liked CGI shows I always thought they were lame. The poilt was okay but I dont know it just didnt look that great. And I dont think they would put a 3 minute poilt on a DVD :(

Mainframe is the only company that can make a good CGI cartoon...well, with the exception of Gerry Anderson

Hey everyone im back from Technodrome hell!

I saw the pilots. I thought they were awesome although Im with Kali in that im not sure if I would have liked an entire series like that.

The entire CGI pilot is only 3 minutes long?! :o
Why the heck does it take so long to load?
I'm not going to bother watching it now.

Actually, I think it's closer to five, a bunch of short scenes. But I think it's worth it. Video clips are usually pretty large. It does give you estimated time under the clips. Like I suggested before, try saving it to your computer instead of a direct download, I think it goes faster, and then you can watch it whenever you want.

I think I will try that. Thank you! :)
