I bought my first ever Mirage TMNT comic today!
 

This may not sound like great news to you all, but today I bought the fifth re-print of the first TMNT comic. I didn't know about the Mirage Comics until about a year or two years ago. I was too young to know about the Volume 1 Mirage comics when I was little, but now I want to read and enjoy them as you all did.

^^Agrees.... I have just started buying Mirage comics well vol 1 more so recently.... I have been collecting Vol 4 for a while now.

I had the first color graphic novel when I was a kid; lost it years ago and I just finally found it after looking for it forever. This is all after I just discovered and really got into comics lol. The cover and binding is in bad shape but now that I can read a lot better then when I was like 5 lol I appreciate the books. I also bought #4 last summer in its original plastic (the oversized print, they must have been shipped in sealed plastic back then...) the top is damaged a little form being hung in a comic store on the wall... but its never been opened all these years lol I am going to have to track down some of these books off Ebay or something.... I still have not read it so I gotta find #4-6 I have also got a bunch more of vol 1...
Mike and Leo one shots #7, 9, 11-15, Most of City at war.. I still want to get Return to NY, "The River" Donatello, Raph one shots...and more I can still get... I am mainly interested in the ones Keven and Peter did but there are some other good books that I am going to have to pick up soon lol. I am really liking these books the main problem is finding them... I might order vol 2 off the official website and Return to NY because it doesnt look like I am going to be able to find these at my local comic shops.
Anywho all I really meant to say before I drifted off there was that these are some great stories and it shows you where it all started and its nice to see how close the new show is following the comics as well as the first movie.

i have a few mirage comics but there older ones later in the series. im gona try and find a few more at wizard world this weekend

I should pick up more recent ones in the series also. Im assuming them are probably the best?..

there ok. most of them were just random issues i got for like $1 some where. it all depents on prefference. i would like to see some of the first issues though. and i dnt have any of the new mirage vol 4. im hopeing to be able to buy all of them since theres like only 14 issues so far.
