Mutagen Man
The Non-stop Mutating Monster!

Accessories: Mutagen Machine Gun, Gooey Garbage, Life Support System, Skull Plug
Birthplace: Krang's lab
Weight: 500 lbs. (not including guts)
Favortie Food: See-food

Victim of Krang's insidious experiments, Seymour Gutz woke up from a lab table only to find himself hideously transformed into Mutagen Man - a pathetic, dripping, ever-changing mutating monster. Confined to a mechanical life support system that holds his mutating body together, Mutagen Man is now dependent on Ooze to replenish his deteriorating form. Forced to do Shredder's bidding in exchange for Retromutagen Ooze, Mutagen Man reluctantly performs dastardly deeds to get the substance his body so desperately craves.

Armed with his Mutagen Machine Gun, Mutagen Man relentlessly tracks down the Turtles and their allies. Head for the sewers and hide your Ooze! Mutagen Man's on his way - and you just know he has the guts to get you!

You fill Him With water!...WATER...you can see his guts
they float around
he had MUTAGEN in his name
he was a geek and now he is a monster
who can shape shift

what the hell?

My Mutagen Man cracked in half when I smashed him with a hammer. Multiple times. I used to pretend he was Krang's brother...

KROW 08-09-2004 08:09 PM

Ick. I have that figure. Ick. And you're wrong. Casey Jones is the best figure. Nyeh.

Leonardo_the_sword_master 08-09-2004 08:44 PM

ooooooooooooooooo its cool.

DrSpengler 08-09-2004 09:22 PM

I never had him. :(

The toy's pretty graphic for a kid's line, though. Especially for the old show. What was Mutagen Man's appearance in the cartoon like? Was he as grotesque?

Spitfire 08-09-2004 09:31 PM

Wow I wish I had him. That would be kick ass he looks cool

MrPliggins 08-09-2004 10:12 PM

For some odd reason, I never opened this strange figure. He's been imprisoned in plastic since 1990...He probably curses me every day while he sits in the bottom of my closet...

he was geek turned monster
he looked pretty much like that figure
he shape shifted
he was a misguided bad guy
at the end he turned good by tricking shredder

I loved my Mutagen Man figure. I played with him all the time. I miss him.

So they did show his organs floating around and everything? Pretty nasty for a kid's show.

And Toxic Crusaders was an all-around bad idea. I love the Toxic Avenger, but it's not good marketing to make a kid's show based of a Rated-R movie. And the unrated versions even less suitable for children. Troma must have known that kids who liked the show (all 5 of them) would want to see the original movie and thus get their minds warped.

just one more reason why Troma rocks.

Yep had him to I lost the skeleton thing. He was cool but seemed to be a less used character like no people cared about him but I thought he was cool.
