In '90 right after the first movie came out they should have made figures of the main characters meaning acurate NInja turtles which means head's that looked just like the acctual costume heads just shrunk down,there knee,rist and elbow pads would be brown like in the movie and the steel on the sword's and sias would be silver,now they wouldn't come with rediculouse accecories just there trademark weapons and one accessory that they had in the movie like Raph would come with his trenchcoat and hat, Mike would come with his stuffed bear, Don would come with his Farm hat, And Leo would come with uhh :-? ,know the other characters:splinter would come with his walking stick and one of his books (to throw at Mike. :lol: , April would be in the outfit she wore from the apartmen fight to the end of the movie and she'd come with a microphone, Casey would come with a removable hocky mask his golf bag, Two bat's and CRICKET stick, Shredder would come with a removable face plate and his staff, Tatsu would just be Tatsu, There would be four differn't Foot soldiers one would come with a sword one with Nunchuck one with staff and one with the axe (cant remember the name) , I guess they could make a danny figure. Now the vehicles: Just aprils Van and the truck. And finally the playsets: THe turtles lair it would looke just like the set it would contain the Couch,TV, Splinters chair, The telephone, Donatellos work table, There would be a tunnle wich would lead to the sewer and it would go to a ladder with removable manhole so the top would looke like the street with a sign or garbage can etc., Aprils apartment would be two floors The first of course would be the living room Tv, Couch Etc.,The top would be the rooftop with break a way skylight it would have break in doors and window's the floor cave in by hiting a lever and there would be junk all over the plac and ofcourse the trapdoor, The foot HQ Would have the throne room and foot training area, and the prison for Splinter, And finally the RoofTop battle which would just be The building With a good sized roof and on the side the ladder. Ohh HOw could I forget the Domino's Delivery Guy this would have been a figure vehicle two pack.

Yeah, that would have been pretty cool if they made those.

I say go for it. I'd snap them up in a heartbeat...in fact, what I'm picturing is awesome, and I'm already getting excited. Too bad Playmates won't do this.

I know we've had a brief mention of this in my rant thread, but I'd like to see another company pick up on some movie-accurate figs. McFarlane? They'd be glamorized statues, but I could live with that. SOTA? Hell yeah! But it'll never happen.

Somebody said that SOTA tried to get the rights, but couldn't. My next choice would be NECA.

what about art asylum......they've done some awesome TV showe based figs....likw the new star trek figures....which used to be a playmates line

Eh, I'd still prefer SOTA, NECA, or Mezco over Art Asylum.
