I Won!!

Does anyone remember the Name the Turtle Contest that Mirage had for the turtle that they were keeping track of!! I got an email this morning stating that I won!!!! *dies*

Yes, please, details!

Oh, and congratulations! :D

Eh? What contest? o__O

Congrats either way, though.

It was a contest that was in one of the comics a few months ago called "Name That Turtle" Contest. Mirage Publishing has adopted some kind of endangered turtle. They raise money to track it and ensure its survival. Well it first just had a number so they wanted to give it a name. They had a contest to where if they picked the name you submitted, then you would win a Leonardo and Raphael cold cast statue. I picked Akemi. It's Japanese. It means "bright and beautiful" because that is what I think turtles are.

Wow.. that's cool! COngrats. :)

What do you get for a prize, I have to wonder? The honor of having a turtle named with something you chose?

Yeah that and the Leo and Raph cold cast statues.

Wow, that's quite impressive! Congrats, Kazari! :D

That's what the guy told me I dunno LOL

Ooh, wow. Congrats!! :)

just 1 word

CONGRATULATIONS...

Domo! :D That freaked me out. For a minute I was trying to remember what the shell the contest was about.

Shock!

You get *two* stautues too...?! Slag, that is a very awesome win! Woot!

That's all so totally cool, Kazari! :)

*pouts* I want a Leo statue too! :P

Ryo, check out the Buying/Selling Topic. I am going to sell my older Leo statue at a lower price. *laughs* I am not going to really make any final judgments until I actually receive my statues in the mail LOL

YOU WON!!!!!! WOOOOOO!!! The NA Wood Turtle naming contest it was.
I suggeted my wood turtle's name of Jessie.

Akemi is good.

heh funny, Akemi is the name of one of two girls who are in love with Musashi in the Samurai Trilogy(the T.Mifune one-the good one!) Great movie series if you never seen it.

There was a delay on the Raph statues so dunno if they'll send that...who knows.

Awesome glad you won! And enjoy your prizes

I was wrong...its actually Leonardo and Michelangelo, so I'll end up selling them when I get them because I already have those LOL I need Raph!

Congrats on winning! I am kind of jealous though cause i also entered the contest. Oh well, mabe next time. The name I choose was really corny. I entered the name Natalie Wood Turtle :P . Congrats again!
