Thank God they didn't have enough time to paint their twangers.

KROW 01-12-2005 10:13 PM

You know, I just recommend people going to that site and fish around instead of posting links of stuff found there.

Anarky 01-12-2005 10:19 PM

That kid's show-thing was just amazing. I've never seen so much "subtile" sex-talk in any show on this planet

I would have run this guy down so fast, maybe ram him between the front bumper of my car and the back bumper of the car ahead. People like this deserve to die.

Anarky 01-13-2005 09:51 AM

I've merged weapon x' and Phyzogh's threads to this one collection of funny videos.

DrSpengler 01-13-2005 10:11 AM

That Flintstone's video made cigarettes sound like a delicious candy treat. Sh*t, now I want one.

Taken from an interview with Geoffrey Hayes, a writer on Rainbow:

Andrew: The Christmas tape that Thames produced, the naughty Rainbow which has been featured on TV Offal where Victor Lewis-Smith said it was the "unscreened pilot."

Geoffrey: Victor Lewis-Smith or someone else…

Andrew: Graham Norton?

Geoffrey: You just reminded me, that’s right, yes. The VT department of each ITV company, every Christmas had a competition to enter all the outtakes from their particular companies programme out put, and see which ones were the funniest. But ours wasn’t an outtake, we specially did it. It was specially scripted and we did it and I never saw it! We did it and Thames won it, but what they actually won, I don’t know. But I never saw the video. I can’t remember much about it except for Zippy with a banana.

It indeed was a real kids' show, but that clip was merely an in-joke amongst cast and crew, and never was intended to air.

Wingnut 01-14-2005 01:50 PM

This is too good for words.

Some people just shouldn't be allowed webcams...
I love the song, I believe it's some Turkish one from the Eurovision Song Contest. I admire its unashamed cheesiness

Jester 01-16-2005 12:39 PM

Seen it....it's pretty hilarious...

It's actually romanian. Done by a band called Ozone or Haiducii (the sort of threw that song on the market around the same time). Then there's that stupid german producer who had one of his moronic singers cover it.

We in Germany, Austria and Switzerland had that song as THE summer hit. Unfortunately it ran on heavy rotation. And because the song existed in three versions, we heard that song times three. I hate that song.

But no one, no one beats Eamon.

My mum and 2 of my sisters went to Greece in the summer and said they heard that over there all the time too. Poor people

Anarky 01-16-2005 02:43 PM

You didn't have that song in the UK?

Reading btw. is a great place. I stayed there at one of my mom's former school friends a couple of years ago. I love the Oracle. and that comic shop near the oracle.
