Where the heck is my Bishop action figure?!

Agent Bishop is a major player in season 3 so I just wonder why in the world PlayMates hasn't released an action figure of him yet?! It's very clear that he would sell at stores, he's now a main character/villian in the show afterall. He's also a male character so PlayMates can't say "we are not making him 'cause he's a girl, and girl figures don't sell well blah blah blah........" PlayMates needs to get of their lazy butts and make an Agent Bishop action figure! And Please......... No stupid action features like punching action or anything like that. He should also have at least as much articulation as the series 1 figures with ball-joint shoulders, elbows and wrists that turn too.

I agree, bring out some more secondary characters that would sell and take some time away from the variants that clog up the shelves.

Bishop will be released....but when is hard to say.

marleynaki 04-19-2005 03:51 PM

i think playmates will make bishop figure.because is a important characters.

You'll have to wait awhile. Their just now doing Karai/City At War. Which we both know is well into Season 2 and kinda far away from when Bishop pokes his head in. Playmates just likes to make Varients

Heck..we're still waiting for a Quarry for cryin out loud...so dont hold you're breath waithin for bishop...

CyberCubed 04-20-2005 08:14 PM

They've never even given us a basic Karai figure, what makes you think they'll give us Bishop?

Playmates seems to think that humans don't sell, which is why most of the bad guys have been mutants or foot members.

Where the hell is Touch and Go? Nobody? Karai? A decent Baxter? etc?

APRIL doesn't sell well. Quarry, Renet, and Karai are damn sure to sell well.

Playmates are just stupid. I miss the older days, when they made hundreds of the old series toys. They were actually good then. More than good. They were doing fine with these at the start, but then they released the half-assed Nexus figures. Usagi, Assassin, Ultimate Ninja, none of them are any good, and I was looking forward to these three.

I too miss the good ole' days where seconday characters were alover the place, and they didn't have stupid action features...like fall apart traximus and spinny head Yoshi and "The only Karai u get is Shredder karai" Karai.....stupid playmates...

Is PlayMates having money problems or something? Maybe they are fixing to go bankrupt. Then a new company can take over production.

Edit: I remember Irwin Toy was doing great with their DragonBall Z figures and they went bankrupt.

Edit 2: Jakks Pacific took over and now they make DragonBall Z figures. Well they did at least,. Jakks hasn't released any new DragonBall Z figures in a long time. Irwin Toy is back but I think they are only making toys similar to "bop it" now.

Jakk's is still releasing Dragon Ball figures. It's just that no stores will carry them anymore. I've only seen the latest wave (with Recoome, Ginyu etc..) at a single Kmart store, where they've sat for almost four months now.

Changing the scale of the lines seems to have been the final nail in the coffin. But then again, since they have just been releasing wave after wave of the same figures, it is hardly a big loss.
