The official TMNT site has a preview for Tales 11.

Apperantly the turtles and Splinter (Don's on the front cover...I think) battle a bunch of hyper fast Ninja.

No clue yet when it'll be out but hopefully Mid town will announce the release date tomarrow.

Oh sh*t...I haven't even gotten #8 yet...Time to head for the comic store.

According to Midtown Comics (the most reliable comic site around) Tales 11 will be out Thursday June 2nd. Thursday??? :ohwell:

Yeah, if it's out this week it'll be a thursday, because Memorial Day pushes Diamond's shipping date back a day.

I only trust diamond with shipping dates. if diamond says it ships on the 2nd then i'll believe it.

Nothing on the Diamond site....Which means I wont be getting it until mid June. We just got #10 here 2 weeks ago. My comic store calls me when they get it in stock so Ill post when I get it...probly way after most people here

Keep in mind, Diamond's shipping list for this week won't be up until 5 PM Eastern on Tuesday, so don't expect to know for sure whether it's coming this week or not until then.

EDIT: I asked at the local comic shop tonight, & was told that Tales #11 will be in on Thursday this week.

ahh. excellent issue. splinter really shines through in this ish. and i hope we get to find out who these mystery characters are, who seem to want to kill splinter.

I wish I could feel the same way as you but I disliked this issue. I didn't hate it but really... hold on lemme put a big ol' SPOILER ALERT!

Ok well I thought that overall it was just one fight scene, with a couple pages of other stuff before and after but overall it was too short of a story that wasn't all the interesting in the first place. The art was really cool at first but I didn't care for the way he drew the TMNT themselves. It was a good quick read (really quick read) but I was a little disappointed that it was by Murphy as usually his stories are pretty awesome. Definitely one of the worst issues of Tales so far. I wish Dan Berger would do more issues he has the best art so far imo.

Overall, I thought it was pretty average. Could've done without the one tubby ninja. And for some reason I had a tough time telling the turtles apart. I dunno.

Like I said before, Tales needs more 2-part stories to really get a good story and conflict going.

I think they're just members of the foot. They made a reference to #2 and Splinter's battle with a mystic.

It's no wonder those guys were faster than the turtles, did you see how chubby the lads were? :P

The artwork was great, except I didn't like the look of the turtles and splinter.
The way the foot were defeated seems a little silly. And what new exactly did they learn about Splinter? He's a sensei?

As for my opinions, I generally agree with Ectocooler. Although #10 was the worst so far and Berger's not my favourite.

I liked some of things Steve Murphy had to say in the letters section. Namely, his comment about profanity and the ever increasing coarseness of our culture. It's a response to Julie Petrocelli's letter which is entitled "hell hater." Murphy actually takes a bit of offense at the new toon's constant use of "shell" as a mild cuss word and actually critiques a previous statement by Peter Laird. Really fascinating for a Fan mail section of a comic book. Also see his take on the next letter, "fashion hater," which is almost equally as relevant.

I loved this issue. It's good to see that the writers of Tales are connecting these stories to other issues. Great art, great action, and Splinter ruled.

I honestly don't think that's why most people hate when the turtles say holy shell or something like that because it's a pc or funny way of saying hell...
if there anything like me they don't like it because it's stupid and over used...
I hate when the turtles say shell because it's lame and reminds me of the smurfs always saying smurf this and smurf that well if the turtles say shell one more time...they can go smurf themselves hahah

i havent gotten this issue yet n prolly wont get it till i go to charlotte, but i have a question for those who have, i made a post last week n havent seen anything, but does a guy named Gus Vazquez happen to do someknda artwork in this issue?

Wow... I actually had a letter printed... my first letter ever written to a comic, and it was actually printed. The very last letter to boot, most of the Klunk-story letters were first, so I figured mine wasn't going to be printed, but alas, there it was.

So now every knows that I cried over that issue. GREAT. Really... I'm not usually a weeper. That Klunk story was just plain old sad.

Man, this issue blew me away! I thought the action was just too outragous! BTW, was it just me or did that tubby looking ninja with a pony tail kind of look like Rosanne Bar/Arnold/whatever the hell she goes by nowadays?

Finally got the issue.

It wasn't much of an issue tho.... just the fight scene...Mike and Don arguing about dreams (Mike dreamed he ate the mufler of Casey's car and in the morning felt exhausted... :lol: ).

But what were those fighters going on about??? Why'd they want Splinter and what was up with those sunflower seeds???

Oh and which one of the turtles called the female ninja a Biatch??? I think it was Donatello but Im not sure...couldn't really tell the guys apart.

Next issue: Raph and Shadow go to Paris?
